Your recruiting video is the most important tool you have in this recruiting process to get good exposure. As a former D1 coach, Scout and recruiter, I love getting standout highlight videos. Think about this. It fast tracks the recruiting process. This is what happens. I watched a video, I really like what I saw. I created a conversation, got to know more about the athlete, maybe contacted their coaches, eventually would go out and watch them play. Then I would invite them to campus on a visit or an official a visit and then I would offer it. All right. That is usually how it works leading up to a commitment. So this is a perfect highlight video checklist to help you with this first 10 to 15 of your best clips only. All right? Show tools in the first 10 seconds. We have to catch their attention right away. So your best place right up front. All right. Game video is definitely good. Have game video skills. Video though is good too to make sure we can see you and how athletic you are. A training video, depending on your sport, you is really good as well. Under three minutes, that is max. These college coaches don't need anything over three minutes. Zero downtime, no fluff, no hype, any of that. Just write to the good stuff. Make sure your cuts are clean. Upload to a YouTube or huddle video. One click links. Very important. Don't send downloadable videos and then update every season. Last thing, make sure your topics on your video. It shows your best metrics, best stats, your physicality and grades. Good luck.
