Alex Swenson breaks down D1 baseball recruiting windows from August through February. The quiet period runs through September 14, then coaches can contact players and attend showcases September 15 through October 8. Another quiet period starts October 9, so athletes should prioritize college camps during those stretches.

Hey, team. Alex here we just entered some important recruiting dates, and I'm going to explain why these are important. This is the Division 1 recruiting calendar, and we just entered right up here in August, the quiet period, which means college coaches cannot go out and watch players off their campus, cannot evaluate and recruit players off their campus. They can do it on their campus. But we're going to be in the quiet period all the way through September 14th. And we entered the contact period on September 15th, which means college coaches can leave and watch players at showcases and evaluate and recruit players in. And then we're going to enter the quiet period October 9, again for about four or five months, all the way through February. And why is this important? Focus on college camps, especially during the quiet period, because that's the only place college coaches, Division 1 college coaches can be. And then during the contact period, consider some showcases that, you know, college coaches will be at. Good luck.
