We are about to enter the most important period of the college recruiting process, and that is the contact period. What is that? Well, the NCAA has all these weird periods and weird rules of what you, the student athlete, can and can't be doing and what college coaches can and can't be doing. And why is the contact period important? It's important because this is when the college coaches really start ramping up their recruiting. Why is that? Because they can come watch you play. Now, previously, while they're in the quiet period or the dead period, they can't come watch you play off their campus. Now they can go watch you play off their campus. So prior to this, in the quiet period, they could watch you on their campus, which means really just watch you at their camps. But now the contact period, they are free game. They're able to go watch you play at your high school games and your travel ball game. So make sure you're sending out your schedule so the coaches know where you're at and can watch you play. Good luck.
