YouTube video by Alex Swenson listing the top 10 Division I mid-major baseball programs (non-Power Four) that gave freshmen position players plate appearances in the past year. The creator ranks schools #10→#1 and highlights opportunities for position players (infielders, catchers, corners, outfielders), noting pitchers were covered in a separate video.

Which D1 baseball schools are playing freshmen at the nine power four schools. And this is for my position players. So my shortstops, middle infielders, my catchers, my corners, my outfielders. If you're a pitcher, go back to my last video. I talk about the pitchers in the schools that are starting pitchers. All right, so we're going to be talking about the top 10 non powerful schools with freshman plate appearances this past year. And again, this is important because there's so many good Division 1 mid major schools out there that just get overlooked from the SEC and the acc, which are all great and sexy. But there's not a lot of opportunities there where the D1 mid majors have a lot of great opportunities and compete with those SEC and ACCs and go to the College World Series. So we're going to start at number ten, working our way down all the way to number one. Number ten, Mount St. Mary's University. Number nine, Queens University of Charlotte. They turned division one just a couple years ago. Have a lot of good opportunities there. Number eight, Fairland Dickinson University. Number seven, South Dakota State University. Number six, Wright State University. Number five, North Carolina A&T State University. Number four, Rice University. Great academics as well. Number three, University of North Carolina, Asheville. And number two, University of Dayton. They had pictures as well as far as the freshmen. And then number one, East Carolina University. Good luck.
