Here's a velocity cheat sheet whether you're a pitcher or a position player. This was put out by TREADS and Alan Yeager. Absolutely love them. Give them a follow. Long toss is the best way to improve your velocity. Again, as a pitcher or position player in this chart right here, I want you to pay attention to this stuff over here gives you distance goals to get to your velocity. So for example, if you throw 77 miles an hour, you can throw about 260ft in long toss with a crow hop. Now if you're trying to get to 82, 87, 92, let's just say 87 miles an hour. Our distance goal should be 300ft with a slight arc in our throw and max effort. All right. Again, use this as goals for distance and as far as a number of times to long toss in a week, especially in the off season right here when your arm is healthy and fresh is two times a week. Good luck. Use this chart, share it with a friend.
