Before you commit to a school, you want to go visit the school. And there's three types of visits that you can do. Visiting school is so important to make sure you walk around campus, see facilities and really get a gut feel. If you can envision yourself here, because this is a big decision, a lot of times it comes down to that gut feeling like, yeah, this is it alright. At least that's what's happened with me and a lot of guys that I worked with in this college recruiting process. Number one visit is you take an initiative. You and your parents walking around campus. You can do this on, on your own, you can walk around campus and get a good feel of it. Number two is an unofficial visit. The school and coaching staff invites you and they tour you around. Is a really, really, really good sign. And number three is an official visit where the college coaches invite you and they pay for your way to get there. They pay for food and all that stuff that can't happen, at least in particular for baseball, until September 1st of your junior year, but a very good sign. But start with number one.
