Which schools are bringing the best players into their program. And each year there are rankings of the top hundred recruiting classes. And we're going to be taking a look at the 2025 recruiting classes and the top 25 schools and which programs are doing a great job from a recruiting perspective. And as a former Division 1 college coach, we would pay attention to this and we would take pride into it because it is an accolade and it shows what type of players that you guys are bring in the school itself, and they do rankings of it. So again, we're going to be taking a look at that. And if you're new to my channel, my name is Alex Swenson. I'm a former Division 1 college coach, scout, and recruiter with 11 years of experience. And now what I do is help high school baseball players and their parents navigate this college recruiting process and put them in the best possible position to play at the next level. And if you're interested in getting more personal help, please visit my website right down here. Or you can find it down in the description. Just go on and click the link. You can book a call with me and we can see if this is a good fit moving forward. So with that said, let's hop into the top 25 recruiting classes. All right, before we hop into these rankings, I want to show you a read to you how Perfect Game creates these rankings, which is pretty creative going through this. And again, they do this each and every year. So let me go on and just read this off. So the Perfect Game USA college recruiting rankings are based on PG Crosscheckers national high school player rankings. Colleges are given points for each recruit based on their recruit's current high school rankings. The rankings are updated with each added college commitment to our database as well as updates to our national high school player rankings. Currently, junior colleges, and I should say transfer guys are not factored into these rankings. So this is how it works. All right? Recruits, national ranked. If you were ranked in the top 50, you get 15 points. That school gets 15 points and 51 through 112 and so on, all the way down. So if you're a high follow, you get one point, top thousand, two points, and again, so on. So let's go on and start looking at these top 25 and really hundred. So LSU comes in at number one as the top recruiting class for 2025. They have 18 commits. Now, caveat, you're gonna see big numbers here, okay? And a lot of these guys are not gonna make it to campus to the big schools. But they have 18 high school commits. 11 of them are the top 100. They have 204 points. The average player is 11.33. All right, number two is Texas with 18 commits, Tennessee with 23. And again, hey, there's one thing about recruiting and at these bigger schools too. If you look at the numbers, around 50% of the total commits that commit to a bigger school, a powerful school, don't make it through their freshman year, are let go at the end of the freshman year. Some even transfer out after of the fall. So we got to keep that in mind going through. But this is as of 2025. Now Arkansas comes in at number four. Mississippi State 12, Texas A&M 14, Oklahoma State 7, Miami 8. Vanderbilt 9, Alabama 10, Oklahoma 11, Southern Cal 12. Notice a theme here. All of these are Power 4 schools. We're going to talk a little bit about some of the mid majors. We have Duke at 13. Good job for them as a high academic school. It can be tougher to recruit players out of there because of academics. 14 is Oregon State. Indiana 15. Good for them. Virginia 16, Wake 4 17, Arizona State 18, Georgia Tech 19, Clemson 20, Florida 21, Virginia Tech 22, Kentucky 23, Georgia 24 and Florida State 25. So the next as far as mid major on here, I guess the first mid major would be South Florida. They are not considered a Power 4 school and all the schools in the top 25 are a Power 4 school. So congrats to South Florida who again is not in a Power 4 conference and they're at 26 and then Central Florida 29. Some other schools that we could take a look at that are mid major schools, technically La Salle, they're bringing back their college team. They, they discontinued their team a few years ago and they're bringing it back, which is great to see. Who else? Wofford. Really love Wofford and the coaching staff down there and what they're doing there. They have 17 guys coming in and have a good ranking for Wofford. And then East Carolina of course, always does a good job. UC Santa Barbara, let's go down to 100. So Western Carolina gets into the top hundred. Sanford, Santa Clara, great job here. Hawaii, Old Dominion, Florida International, Stetson, Lehigh is in here. Crack that. Good for them. Cracking the top hundred. It's a tough school to recruit out because they don't have any academic money. George Washington, same thing. William and Mary, 81, good for them. Georgia State, they're building a new stadium. So that's. That is. It's going to bring them a lot of recruits. Florida. Gulf Coast. Good. Let's see if we have any other surprises here. St. John's always kind of in the middle there. Doing a great job. College? Charleston. Love what they're doing. Pitt. Nice. Richmond. Good. Yeah. San Diego State. Georgia Southern. Army at 54. Air Force at 52. I'd love to see that. So if you have any questions or want help getting exposure to these schools, please reach out to me and we'll go from there. Good luck to you.
