Your GPA dictates how many colleges can recruit you. What's your GPA? Because we're about to run all the numbers. Let's hope you like what you're about to hear, and if you don't, do something about it. Improve those grades. If you're new here, I'm Coach Alex, a former D1 coach, scout, and recruiter. I live this. I'd go watch players and love them on the field or the court, and then we'd pull up their transcript and the GPA wasn't where we needed it, and that was it. We just pushed them to the side, move on to the next athlete. I watched it happen over Also, before we get into the numbers, here's the part almost nobody tells you. An academic scholarship can pay out 5 times more than an athletic scholarship. Hear that again. The grades aren't just keeping doors open, they're where the real money is. So here's the math. A 4.0 GPA, 94% of schools can offer you. That's fantastic. Almost the whole country. A 3.5, 72% of schools. A 3.0, now you're down to 51%, half the doors just closed. A 2.5, only 21% of schools. And a 2.0 or below, 8%, and you're not qualified to play Division I or Division II. Those doors are automatically shut. So keep your grades up because every point of GPA is recruiting leverage. The transcript is part of the highlight tape. A heads up, inside my Recruit Ready Challenge, academics are built right into the plan. Eligibility, the GPA game, all of it. The doors open soon. Comment recruit and I'll send you the waitlist link. See you soon.
