AI Business Manifesto Live - September 10 2026

Rich Schefren walks through his AI workflow using multiple language models to power Zenith Mind OS, a personal operating system that knows your health data, journals, and work habits. He argues AI-native businesses need completely different org charts without traditional departments, and shares which AI agents perform best: Astra and Fable 5.1 over Grokbot.

Hey, hey. Hello, Sean. I hope you're still there. And, uh, I wasn't even planning on going live today, but I saw that it was already posted, so decided that I would. And, uh, I guess I need to move a little bit like this so you guys can see me. All right, and maybe I'll stand up too. Uh, cool. All righty. Got to figure out the right place on my desk to stand. All right. So I've been busy all morning. I've been working with Codex, Claude, and Gemini, all 3. And what's interesting is how much I now default to the desktop apps. So even though I have my own harness, and my own harness is really running everything behind the scenes, see myself in really like now, I guess, 4 desktop apps, even though I have them all, right? So I have the, the primary desktop apps I use are Anthropic Claude Code, Codex, either Astra or Sol, and Gemini Anti-Gravity. And so those 3 I have all at the pro level. And, um, and then they all feed my internal system. And right now, like, I have Codex rebuilding my system. I have Claude overseeing it and actually giving feedback and fixing certain things that Codex gets wrong. Gemini is diagramming the future state, and I'm working on new future states with Gemini regarding other types of businesses, because I have, I think, a new model for how businesses should operate in the AI era, because it's no longer about departments. Departments are siloed experts off to the side, and that's not how business works anymore. And because of that, there needs to be a new org chart. And that org chart that is new has to be completely different from the way the old org chart was created. And so based on that, that's what I've been working on. And I am so, so excited. I'm actually, I think I'm gonna be revealing this new model, like, first time publicly, publicly at Funnel Hacking Live. I think that's later this month if I've— or next month. And I'm just insanely pumped about it. Curious if you guys have any AI questions. Happy to answer them. That's primarily why I figured I'd throw this on and just see if anyone's got a question for me. And if so, I'm happy to answer it. But man, I'm making so much progress right now between these 3 desktop apps. If I had my way, I would just sit here until the whole system was like really just done, done, done in every single way. Unfortunately, life doesn't work that way. But anyway, so wanted to see how you guys are doing. How are you doing on your AI journey? You know, it is what's really, what has me so excited right now, more so than like other things, is that when I first designed Zenith Mind OS, I had in mind a system that was not possible at that time. Just 2 years ago, it wasn't possible. It could know everything about you. It could understand how you've sabotaged yourself in the past. It could even understand how you could get around it in the future, but it couldn't do that for you. But now it can. Now it can do it for you. Now Zenith Mind can reveal all of the issues that have stood in your way from the beginning of you being on this planet, basically the way you're wired, and then can build around it like a prosthetic device if you wanted to use it that way, right? Like to build you out to be optimal. What is missing or what needs to be removed for you to be optimal? And that is the org chart that you work under. And that org chart is so different because there aren't departments. And so it is, uh, that is the— that's what I'm playing with here. And that's why I feel like I'm inventing like this new future, because I get a chance to give my perspective on what I believe the next model should be, right? To define what is the next org chart. Should it even be drawn in the same type of way? No, I don't even know. So Priya asked if I change opinions about it with Marissa Pierce. I don't even know who Marissa Pierce is. Maybe I should look her up. Should I? Um, I base a lot of this on the fact that we have the most vetted, most researched, most proven, uh, system to know you, Zenith Mind OS. There is no AI system that is more proven. Um, we were the first and we are the best. And I think we're still the only— there are other things that do like get to know you a little bit, but not anything that is even remotely close to Zenith Mind OS. And if it is close to Zenith Mind OS, then guess what? They copied us, right? Because Zenith Mind OS has been out for over 2 years. Um, so anyway, besides, I will check out Marissa. Uh, anyone have any questions? That, uh, because if not, I want to go back to recreating the future for the rest of the world and figure out what is the new org chart, even though I think I have it figured out. Um, so let's see, how do I hook your Atlas? Well, the hooks need— you first want to make sure that You have the imprint working. Um, okay, you couldn't find it. Uh, Priya, ask your AI. Um, let me just— I don't want to stop any of the AIs that I have currently working on it, but you should be able to ask your AI on that. And let me see. I don't think I can do it here, but let's just see. Yeah. Wow. Once. Okay. All right. Let's see here. What could I— my primaries. You got the GitHub. All right. All right. Do do do do do. What's the question, Fitzholmes? All right. Well, if I have another question, I'll. Okay, cool. Use the Grokbot putting four properties up for sale. Decided to test Grokbot to take on the job of some virtual staging. Okay. And what happened? The challenge like I use Grokbot and I I like the way it works. The problem is is that you're then tied to Grok. And quite frankly, at least right now, I don't see Grok beating Astra, and I don't see it beating Fable 5.1. And so I don't like the idea of the guts of my business being on a less smart brain. And so even though I use GrokBot, I quickly kind of backed off from it, and I might assign GrokBot to one of my lead agents. They can use it. But it's not strong enough to power my entire company. Yeah, that's been my experience with GrokBot. Now maybe GrokBot will get better as Grok gets better, but right now it's, it's not on the same level. And because it's not on the same level and I want a system that is really running my business, I want a brain that is smart. I want the highest IQ. I do not want a A mid-tier model being the brain. I have no problem with a mid-tier model being the executor, but not the brain. And so very quickly I came to the conclusion when I was using GrokBot, um, that that was less than— it's actually even less than the Perplexity computer. Perplexity Bot seems better to me than GrokBot at this point. And I would put like, I'd probably put GrokBot and Mana's computer on the same level. And I have Manus Computer too. I have that pro account as well. But I would use Manus for like heavy duty lifting of stuff. And I use Manus for Meta stuff because Manus is into the Meta universe. So Manus does an insanely good job of telling me who my competitors are in Meta, an insanely good job of telling me, like analyzing my ad account in Meta, you know, those kinds of things. Okay. I gave it instruction and put the couch in the wrong spot, gave it a visual and still got it wrong. That's crazy. I went into the AI staging later and gave it simple instructions and the platform did a good job. That's cool to know. What are the most surprising counterintuitive pain points when integrating AI with business that business owners are discovering right now? Well, they're discovering a lot, right? What is some of the most counterintuitive pain points? The who's responsible for the work? I would say Cesari at the end of the day. Like at the end of the day, right? I'm running my system. Nicole, who runs the business, is running her system. Ashley, who's the head of marketing, she's running her own system. How do these systems integrate properly back to the business? If I want my employees or team members or partners, whatever you want to call them, to be as AI native as I am, right? Then I can't expect them to have this huge wall in their life that they only talk to this machine from 9 o'clock in the morning till 5, and then everything else is outside it. Like, that's gonna be really difficult because I want the machine to know them as well as my machine knows me, because that's where you really get this huge advantage. So I would say that that is more the surprising, counterintuitive, challenging parts for a lot of people and a lot of businesses. Like, where does that line end? And then also, how much of an open book are you? And I feel very fortunate from that standpoint that I've been an open book and I've been an open book for a long time. And so because I'm an open book for a long time, I don't have stuff to hide. And so because I don't have stuff to hide, the, um, my computer is open to my employees or my team members. And so anyone in management can just go into my computer and ask my system what I would think of this or that. And since my system works with me every day, gets all my feedback, and knows how I do each and everything, Those individual outputs each have someone tasked to it on my system that can then— is accessible to my team. And so the pain point that I see a lot of businesses have is that they don't have an open book. And now all of a sudden they have a challenge. And they have a challenge because the— in order to fully leverage AI, you have to give AI access. And once you give AI access, then who's managing that? And if it's not, you need team members that have access to be able to then manage that thing. And that's what opens up like a bunch of challenges. I haven't had any of those challenges because of the way that I've set this up. But nonetheless, um, that, Cesare, is an issue for a lot of people. Uh, hey Mark, I figured it was someone I knew. Good to see you. Um, what makes my system better? Uh, that's all subjective, obviously, but better than what? Um, my system is— the best way to kind of like describe it is we are the first company on the planet to build you an AI operating system based on how you are actually wired. No one else on the planet can do that, does do that, or will do that because we have Zenith Mind. And we also are a company that installs operating systems for businesses. You need both. You need a leading AI personality profiling discovery tool, and we have what we think is the best. And we're one of the leading people in AI installations. So we have both components, and because of that, we just take those together and you have a system Like mine that knows that I don't finish things, so it knows who's going to finish it before I start something. And so that's the finisher. There's something else that I don't—I have task initiation because of a task initiation challenges because of my ADD. There's another element that my chief of staff can use called the grease slide that gets me into work like in an easy way where I get more excited, so I'm not like bewildered by this big project. of me. There are literally 20 different unique modules that my chief of staff has that is based on my unique hangups, my unique baggage, my unique flaws. And because of that, I'm able to operate at a level that is far beyond what I would normally be capable of operating at. I feel like I'm— I operate like Superman. I don't feel like I am Superman because I'm not, but when I stand here at this desk, um, when I stand at this desk, that's when I feel like I'm Superman. And I want to see if I can show you something. Yeah, let's see if I can do this. Which iPad is this going to be? Is that this iPad? No. Is that this? Oh, it's this one. Okay. So let me show you something. All right. Put on the camera here. Oh, where'd it go? Oh, it went away. What I wanted to show you was how the system works. But I guess I'll do that next time. Da da da da da. So, but that's why, and this is what I've been building for the last two years: a system that knows your deep wiring that then is applied to business and life. This is a different camera. Which camera is this? Is this the Jupiter camera? It's that camera. That's this camera. This camera. This camera. Anyway, um, so there you have it, you know. Um, our system is that. Okay, let's see. Yep, and they're probably doing it at an enterprise level, which makes total sense, right, Mark? But a company like mine, and maybe a company like yours, has an— like, a— has a different level of reliance on Has a different level of reliance on, um, on the executive, on the owner, right? So I think Plantier can have it for enterprise. I want it for small business. My system has access to everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything. My system has access to— well, let's see, let me just see, when did this start? Um, okay, hold on. I downloaded something yesterday that I can't wait to feed into my system. Come on, this might be it. Is it? Nope, that's not it. I'll have to find it later, but I was, I was one of the original funders of Oura, so I don't pay a subscription fee. Like, I've had it since the beginning, and I just downloaded like the 8 years that I've had the Oura Ring. So my system knows what time I went to bed every night for the last 8 years, what time I woke up every morning for the last 8 years. How many times did I work out each day on a Monday over the last 8 years? What, like, every single health metric that I've ever generated, my AI knows. And not only does it know that, it knows what I'm working on. It knows what I've worked on. It knows how I've worked on it. It's read my journal for the last 30 years. I'm wearing this. It listens to every conversation I have. It's watching every monitor and OCRing every monitor every second to know what I'm working on. And so my AI knows everything about me. Knows how I'm messed up, knows how I like abandon projects when they're 90% done because I don't think they're going to make me special. And so it takes over, and that's what you want. I'm just looking at the questions here. Uh, cool. Thanks, Cesare. Yeah, much better than Grokbot. Uh, the big idea file, I'd have to find that again, Sean. If you, um, the ones I did for Agora, is that what you mean, Sean? If you're asking me how all of that influences my output, it tremendously, tremendously. Um, at this point, my system can write an article that I can't tell the difference if I wrote it or if it wrote it, whether I had the idea or it had the idea. Like right now I'm sitting on a couple of insanely powerful ideas that relate to this new org chart, and I really have no clue. Did I come up with them? Did my AI come up with them? I don't even know where they came from. Um, and odds are that AI came up with them, if I'm just gonna like, you know, because it's smarter than me. Do I think AI adopted my persona or just completes the missing parts and gaps? It completes the missing parts and gaps. It knows how I'm going to mess up or what goals I truly am committed to, even though I don't articulate it, like the goal of being special, which I wish it wasn't the case, and I wish— I'm like, it's, it's not a nice thing to say about yourself. Like, I think if I was younger, if I wasn't 55, it's something that I should probably work a lot on, but I feel like the ship has passed. You know, there's a part of me that wants to feel special, and I guess everyone has that, but mine is a little bit more pronounced. And it's like my therapist once asked me a question, and I think that revealed everything. She said, like, when you get on a plane and you look at everyone else on the— all the other passengers, do you just like feel like you're superior? And I said, yeah, unfortunately I think I do. And she's like, well, you have to work on that. And then I went— like, I happened to that week be going to Agora, and I said, yeah, like, I was talking to my therapist and I said this. And everyone in the room is like, but you are special. And that doesn't help at all, 'cause like, that's not the thought that you want to have at all. Um, so yeah, so there's a part of me that's committed to that. I don't like that part about me. I don't. But that's the part that has me abandon a project that's 90% done because I don't think it's gonna make me special. I, I think it's just what everyone else does, and therefore I'm not interested. But what everyone else does that I'm not interested in is what fee— like, pays the bills on a daily basis. And so my system overrides it and says like, no, we'll finish it and we'll release it and we'll give it to Nicole and Ashley and And we'll get it out there. And that's what I need. Like, you know, I've told people for years I'm flawed. Like, I'm— I totally get it. And so my system knows what those flaws are, knows what flaws need to be managed, overcome, bypassed, shortcutted, you know, broken out from in order for me to get the best results is what I truly want. So it's either filling in parts that are missing, or it's like buffering, or, um, what do you call it? It's governing. It's like a governor. It's like governing, um, my bad habits, right? So the missing habits it's filling in, and the bad habits it's, it's dampening. What's the biggest thing you can think of that would have just dropped off because of your whining, but your AI system pushed you through? Pretty much everything. I like— understand that the best product I ever made was made by AI. Zenith Mind OS was made by AI, that I spent a month, 2 months working with AI, and it built it, and I was just there to answer some questions. But pretty much everything I create, um, would have dropped off if it wasn't for AI. And in fact, and maybe this will resonate with those of you that have been my customers for a long time, I am a selfish person. Uh, I tend to be more selfless than most gurus in our space because I care about people, but I'm selfish in the sense that I am oriented towards myself from the standpoint that I notice opportunity as it relates to my own life. The only opportunities that I recognize are when I want something for myself that does not exist in the world. And then that's like a recognizing symbol for my— for me to then be like, you should make it because you want it, it's missing in the world, you know exactly what you want it to be. That's what Zenith Mind was. And when I created Zenith Mind, actually what I wanted it to be is what it is now. And it couldn't be that until there was Fable 5.1 and until there was Astra 6. Right? Until there was a brain that could handle it, I couldn't have it. Now I have a brain that can handle it. And what is it? It is my entire life, my entire business, my every goal that I have, who I want to be when— like today, who I want to be when I'm 80, who I want people to think of when they think of me, all of that in a system. That then is optimally designed to help me get the things done that need to get done. And when they're not getting done, to be started without me, to be finished without me, et cetera. And like, so that's the system. And the— thanks, Priya. Priya said, I think you're pretty special. Um, so here, so, so Atlas is just a small piece of my system, but I needed to create Atlas because my system needed it, and then I released it to the world. Now my hope is that the world makes a much better Atlas, but my system knows what I believe, knows my preferences, knows all those things, and those things are subject to change. You know, yesterday I might have been thinking something about Jessica, and then she came in today and I have nice thoughts about her. So like, maybe the bad thoughts I had about her yesterday— I didn't really have any bad thoughts about her yesterday, but if I did, like, they, they would need to be updated. And so because of that, you need something that once it knows where you stand, like really knows where you stand, knows like specifically where you stand on everything. As soon as you go like this or go like this, something's changed. What in your system recognizes that something changed? Nothing. Atlas notices something changes and alerts you to— because that changed, you got to look at these things. That's all right now. That's all that Atlas does. It doesn't go and then change those things. It doesn't know enough. But it knows the dependency. Oh, you're— you, you changed your belief about this, you changed your preference about that. Well, then you need to look at this or that because that's related to this. That's what Atlas does, and that's all that Atlas does. Atlas is just one small piece of my system. The imprint is just one small piece of my system. These 2 pieces I give away for free because I think the world needs them. I also think the world needs Zenith Mind OS, but I'm not giving that away free. That's my bread and butter. That's how I make my money. But I can give the other pieces away, and so that's what I'm doing. Hopefully that kind of helps. Well, I've told people that my strength has always been That my ego is big enough to believe that if I have a problem, other people have that problem too. And so the manifesto, the original Internet Business Manifesto, was written to my old self, and all my best stuff is to my old self. So thanks for being here, guys. It's half an hour. This was perfect. I wasn't even planning on doing this today, but you guys showed up and you asked me some questions. And because you answer— ask me questions, I have tons to share. I just never know what to share until someone asks me a question. So I'll be here again tomorrow, um, in preparation for the Jewish holidays. Uh, we're not that popular right now, us Jews, and, uh, I don't know, there's something about that that makes me want to be more Jewish all of a sudden because of it. I, I'm so like anti-what the public thinks on anything that all of a sudden my Jewish roots are a lot more important to me. Um, and by the way, for those that know, um, I'm 100% Ashkenazi Jew. 100%. Not 99.9%. 100%. My parents weren't even 100%. They were each in the, like, 98%. I am a purebred, and we're not popular anyway. Um, Enough about that. Um, I'll see you guys tomorrow at noon if you show up. I'll be here on LinkedIn, on Facebook, on YouTube, on X, and Instagram. So until tomorrow, to higher profits beyond, this is Rich Schefren, over and out.
