We're talking all about it today in the training. Both success and failure are automatic. Why? Because whatever principles you live by make the result automatic in your life. So if you live by, uh, failure principles, then failure will become automatic. If you live by success principles, success becomes automatic. And here today, guys, I want to share with you the 8 keys Okay, there are probably more than this, but these are 8 extremely powerful keys that anyone can get started with on how to set up success principles in your life so that success can become automatic. If you've never heard me say it before, I'll say it now. You'll probably hear me say it 100 times in the future as well, but principles are God's success automation. There are only 2 ways to not be successful. Okay. Number 1, how do you not be successful? Well, this one's very simple. You never start. That is the best way to be unsuccessful in your journey is you just never start. Like, one of the biggest problems that most people have is they are under this, this, uh, this thing that I always say, procrastination is the assassination of your destination. Most people are trying to prepare to prepare to prepare to prepare so hopefully one day they can already be prepared so then finally one day they can start somewhere out there. But listen to me, guys. There are people right now who are less qualified than you, less called than you. They're not even as good as you are at your thing, and they are more successful than you. Why? Because they just simply started. Okay, so the first way to not have success is never start. And the second way, okay, this is actually where most people lose the ability to be successful. Okay, I got it started, this was awesome, I'm so excited, this is pumped, and the second one little baby speed bump comes into their life, oh man, this is too much, I'm overwhelmed, I can't do this, I give up. You know the only difference between people who are experiencing success and those who are not experiencing success are these two differences right here. Either you never start or you give up whenever it gets hard. And I'm telling you this, any person that you look to and you, maybe you admire where they're at in their life or their journey or their finances or their family or their wherever. If you look to somebody and you admire them, I promise you this, there were many, many, many, many times for them to give up But the only difference between them and someone who's not successful, they just didn't give up. They just kept on going. How many of y'all know that slow progress is better than no progress? Is that facts or is that facts, right? So, with that being said, let's dive in to the 8 secrets, the 8 keys on how to get success automatic in your life. If you guys and gals are ready, drop some fire emojis down in the comments. Number 1, the very first thing you need to understand about success is success loves speed. Success loves speed, baby. I'm talking about you gotta, you gotta go fast. You gotta go fast. You gotta go fast. You gotta go fast. What if I do it wrong? 'At least you went fast.' Right? 'What if I make a mistake?' 'At least you went fast.' Ask yourself this question. If you knew you were only 30 failed attempts from finally achieving the success that you desire, how fast would you get to failing? Extremely fast. Somebody say Speedy Gonzales, baby. Like, I'm talking about as fast as humanly possible. There is a story There was a gentleman, guys, named W. Clement Stone, W. Clement Stone, and this guy, he was from back in the day. He was one of the first kind of self-help success coach, you know, wealthy entrepreneur, multimillionaires from years and years and years back. And when they interviewed the guy and they said, what is your secret? What is your secret? And guess what this guy did? He walked around every single day and he said there's one phrase that I say at least 100 times a day. How many of y'all know what that phrase? Does anyone here know what it is? Can I tell you what it is? It's this phrase right here— do it now! He would walk around to see "do it now," "Do it now." Do it now. Do it now. Do it now. Do it now. Do it now. Do it now. Do it now. Oh my God. 100 times a day. Do it now, do it now, do it now. Friends, I'm telling you, do it now. Do it imperfect, do it scared, but you got to do it now. Somebody in the comments shout, do it now, do it now, do it now, do it now, do it now, do it now, do it now. Procrastination is the assassination of your destination. You have to learn how to jump and like trust yourself to build the airplane on the way down. Like I have now got the pleasure of meeting many, many, many successful people in my entrepreneurial journey. And in some ways, some would consider me successful. And guess what all of us have in common? We do it now. I do not wait. I hate waiting. Like if there's something to be done, I want to do it now. One way that you can train yourself to do this, guys, is whatever the thing is, like if you wake up in the morning, here's what I like to do. The thing that is the hardest, I like to do that the first. The thing that you despise having to face, you're like, oh gosh, I just don't want to do this. That's the thing I try to do very first thing in the morning. Why? Because as soon as I can get it done, like the only way, the only way, my friend, to overcome overwhelm or fear or whatever is just to get it done. Like more action will lead to more clarity, period. So you gotta do it now. Somebody in the comments shout, do it now, do it now, do it now. So the very first key to success is you've got to become an action taker. Why? Because action takers are moneymakers. Y'all know this, right? No action leads to what? No results. A little bit of action leads to what? A little bit of results. And massive action leads to what? Massive results. So how many of you all here desire massive results? Wave both hands and scream like this. Anyone here, do you desire massive results? And guess what? Success loves speed, my friend, and you've got to learn how to do it now. Do it now, do it now, do it now, do it now. Do it scared, do it imperfect, and do it now. If you're ready for success secret number 2, drop a 2 in the chat and let's keep on moving here. Second thing, not only does success love speed, but my friends, Success leaves clues. Success leaves clues. It's so interesting to me, I was talking to somebody, I was at the gym earlier today, and a lady walked up to me, she had recognized me from the internet, and she was like, hey, would it be okay if I kind of bounce my business idea off you right quick? I'm like, sure, you know, I was in between sets, like yeah, of course, I'd love to help you, whatever. And she goes, okay, I've got this idea and I want to do this and this and it's brand new and no one's ever done this before. And basically what she was saying is, is like, I want to start this brand new thing. I'm pioneering this blah, blah, blah. And I'm going to do something no one's ever done. And I said, is it okay if I coach you for a second? And she was like, sure. And I said, why would you try to reinvent the wheel when the wheel's already been invented? And she's like, what do you mean? And I was like, listen, the very industry, the niche, the market that you desire to serve, there's already been countless people who have success in that market. You know what you should do instead of trying to pioneer this new thing? You should just go follow the clues of people who've already had success. No, I'm not saying you should copy them verbatim. I'm not saying you should go and steal their intellectual property. I'm saying you should be like a Sherlock Holmes and be like, huh, I'm going to go on a journey and I'm going to figure out all the different clues that they have implemented into their life, into their business, into their journey that has allowed them to access success. And then guess what you got to do, y'all? Follow the clues. That's it. I will tell you this, okay? So a number of years ago, I had started my business. We were doing okay. Stuff was kind of clunking along. And one of my mentors started doing this specific business model that I use to this day, okay? And I was like, man, I want to do it different than them. And you know, she does it this way and blah, blah, blah, but I think I'm going to do it that way. And she was way more successful than me. Until one day I heard this phrase, success leaves clues, and I had this epiphany. It was like a light bulb went off and I was like, I wonder if I built a similar system off of my mentor system, because if it works for them, surely it could work for me. And guess what happened, guys? The craziest thing ever happened. I started following the clues of success And the craziest thing happened. It started working for me too. So much so that I started implementing the clues of multiple successful mentors of mine. And I took all of these, these success clues and I put them together. And now my business follows all of the patterns that they do. Again, I'm not saying go copy everyone's stuff verbatim. I'm not saying steal people's intellectual property. I'm saying go follow the clues and put together your own puzzle from those puzzle pieces. And guess what, y'all? When you do this, when you pattern after others' success, the craziest thing happens. If it worked for them, it can also work for you. Are y'all tracking? Right. It's so interesting, actually. One of the main things I coach, you know, new clients about is like, you should hire a coach. It doesn't have to be me, but you should absolutely hire a coach. And they're like, "I don't know, I can't afford to hire a coach." And I look at them straight in the eye and I say, "You can't afford not to hire a coach." I remember when I was first starting, when I was first starting my business journey, I was trying to figure this all out on my own. I went for years, guys, I went years without a business coach. And in those years, it was the hardest, it was the slowest, it was the most expensive years because I was just trying to like figure it out on my own, right? I was under this impression like, man, I can't afford a coach. And it wasn't until I hired a coach and started following the clues of their life, hiring mentors, following the clues of their business, and I was like, oh my gosh, the second I started following the clues, success started becoming automatic. I need at least 10 people in the comments right now shout automatic. Automatic, man. That's how it works. When you follow the clues of other people's success, okay, success becomes automatic. Most people would rather try and figure it out on their own and try to reinvent the wheel instead of just modeling after those who are successful where you desire to be successful. Your next level of success can only be accessed by leaving your ego at the door. Yes or yes? Right? Yes. All right, let's keep on going here. Guys, if you're ready for number 3, drop a 3 in the chat. Let's go. And Rome, if you could do me a favor here, it looks like some of the list got messed up in the notes that I sent to you. Okay? Number 3, success is this, success is to be Faithful with the journey, not just the destination. So many people have this crazy idea that like, man, I As soon as I finally get to where I desire to be, then I'm gonna be faithful. No, man. What qualifies you to stand in the place of success is to be faithful with the journey. Guess what faithful with the journey looks like? It looks like showing up. It looks like taking massive action. It looks like not giving up when things get tough. It looks like doing the basics over and over and over. Being faithful with the journey looks like allowing the process to work on you until it starts working for you. Is anybody here tracking? Yes or yes? Shout yes in the comments if you're tracking. You guys have heard me tell this story a number of times before, but for those who don't know, there is a Chinese bamboo tree, okay? And for, I believe it's like 5 or 6 years, after you plant this Chinese bamboo tree, okay, for the first 5 or 6 years, it doesn't spring up at all. It's only putting roots down, right? And then in the 6th or 7th year, when the time comes, when the time to spring up finally comes, this Chinese bamboo tree grows 90 feet tall in 1 month. That's how success works, man. That's how being faithful with the journey and not just the destination looks. You gotta show up every day. You gotta understand that every single day that you are putting in work, and maybe it's not yet working for you just yet, it's working on you. Everybody wants the fruit, but you don't get the fruit until you put down the roots, right? I don't know if y'all have ever heard this before, but here's how success works. Be, do, have. What does that mean? It means the more you can become, the easier, the more you can become, the easier it is to do this stuff. And the easier it is to do this stuff, the more you can have. And where most people get this messed up, guys, is most people wanna start here with have. Man, it would be so nice. Oh man, Rick, you're just so blessed. You're just so lucky. Bruh, I'm still putting down roots. I was putting down roots before you even know I had any fruits, bruh. And many, many, many of you in the training right now, you are putting down roots right now. Don't ever underestimate the power of your root season. Man, it's just frustrating. Yeah, I know it's frustrating to put roots down because it's in the root season that it's cold, it's dark, nobody— there's a reason why when trees put roots down, it's called the gravitropic growth. Right, what does that mean? It means gravitropic growth is when trees are putting their roots down. Like, we don't just grow up, we grow down. And in fact, we cannot grow up until we grow down. Are y'all tracking here? You can't start with like, oh man, it must be nice. Oh, but you know what? I'll never be able to have that. So I'm not willing to do that. Or I don't know how to figure that out. So guess what? They never become who they need to become. You can't start with have, because if you start with have, you're going to psych yourself out from being willing to do the work. And if you psych yourself out from doing the work, you'll never become the person that it takes. But if you understand the game here, my friends, the game is actually you've got to become first. Have you ever heard these stories of like multimillionaires who become multimillionaires millionaire, excuse me, and then something crazy happens, they lose everything, but within like 6 months, they're millionaires again. How does that happen? Because they weren't just a millionaire in their bank account, they were a millionaire in their mindset, in their belief system, in their actions, right? Like long before my wife and I ever became multimillionaires, we had to become millionaires in our heart, in our mindset, in our actions, in our belief, in our speech first. You must become first so that you can do the stuff. Doing the stuff gets easier, and the easier it is to do the stuff, the more you can have. This is in Genesis 1:26. The Bible says the very first thing that God spoke over man, he said, he blessed them, and then he said, be fruitful. There it is again, be, be fruitful. He said, multiply. That's do, and have dominion. God put success secrets right there in the first couple of breaths. Be fruitful, be, multiply, do, have dominion, have. He didn't start it the other way. He didn't say have dominion and then list them backwards. He lists them in order. You must become more. So friends, I'm telling you this right now. If you desire for success to become automatic in your life, Commit to being faithful with the journey and not just faithful with the destination. Are y'all seeing it? Somebody shout yes down in the comments. And if you're ready for number 4, drop a 4 in the chat. Let's go. Number 4, this one is extremely powerful. My wife and I discovered this along our journey, but I'm telling you, this key to success is extremely powerful and it is this. "Success never loses, it only learns." Success never loses, it only learns. What does that mean? If you're taking notes, write it down like this: failure is never final in the presence of a father. One thing that I love about being a child of God is that no matter how many times I miss, I mess up, or I accidentally break something, or I try and I fail, or whatever it is, I'm not losing, I'm just learning. When you can turn your wounds into wisdom, That's what takes you to the next level, my man. That's what takes you to the level, my friend. That's what takes you to the next level, baby, when you can turn your wounds into wisdom. See, so many people, they get so caught up in the, oh man, I can't figure this out, or I'm losing, or I'm stumbling, or whatever it is. But let me remind you of something. Out of all the things that King David could be remembered for, he was a king, he was a politician, right? He was an inventor of instruments. He was a father. He was a murderer. He was an adulterer. He was a giant slayer. He's a warrior. He was all of these amazing things and he was all of these terrible things all wrapped into one. And the craziest part about all of this to me is that his identity wasn't in how terrible he was, and it wasn't even in his accolades. I see David's identity rooted in this one thing. It's Psalm 27:4. It says, "One thing have I asked, one thing do I seek, that I might dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, gaze upon his beauty, inquire in his temple." David was saying, look, It doesn't matter how bad I blow it or how awesome I do. What matters is this: I am his and he is mine. And when you have that identity, when you walk in that identity, my friend, guess what? There is no losing. There is only learning. Every single thing that you go through in this life, no matter how hard, no matter how awesome, I believe and I submit to you that every single thing that you go through, it's training for the next season, period. How many of y'all have lived enough life to see, interesting, all the things that I've been through, good, bad, ugly, hard, joyful, terrible, all of them have brought me to this point in my life. And in some crazy way, God put them all together in such a special and unique way that it actually made me who I am today to be able to stand in this place today and have dominion over this season of my life today. Is that true? Yes or yes? Shout yes in the comments if that's true. Of course it's true, right? I'll tell you a quick story about my business. So a number of years ago, about 7 or 8 years ago, in my business. At the time, we were doing about $50,000 a month in sales. So we were kind of starting to get, you know, on our feet. It was kind of starting to bloom and blossom a little bit. And I'll never forget, in the matter of 2 days, we had accidentally lost about $40,000 in my ad costs. We had launched some ads. And if you know anything about ads, they can be so crazy sometimes. We launched some ads and in like 2 days, $40,000, poof, vanished. Now, I don't know about y'all, at the time, I mean, $40,000 is a lot of money, but at the time it was like everything 'cause I was only doing $50,000 a month. And so everything like in a matter of 2 days, poof, like almost everything that our business had cash flow-wise was gone in an instant. And I'll never forget, I was like, oh my gosh, it felt like such a big loss, man. I was like, oh, this is— it was like a gut punch. Oh, this is so hard. But here's the crazy part. I remember I was sitting there and I was kind of in prayer and I was like, God, what are we going to do? And I felt like the Holy Spirit said, this is not a loss. This has the potential to be a learn, but you got to start thinking differently. And I was like, golly, okay. So long story short, that night I texted the whole entire staff. It was pre-COVID, right? So all of us were in person and I text the whole staff, hey, mandatory staff meeting tomorrow. We have to figure something out because if we don't, we're all like going down with the ship. It's going to be bad. So early, bright and early next morning, we all get together in the office and I said, look, We just lost $40K. As you all know, that's like basically all we make for the whole entire month. If we don't make some kind of money, everyone loses their job. We're all out on the streets and we're all homeless. So what are we going to do? And guys, over the next 4 or 5 or 6 hours, we started thinking, we started dreaming, we started praying, we started strategizing. And it was so crazy. We came up with a very strategic play with a new business strategy that we had never thought of before. And I was like, shoot, I mean, there's— we have nothing to lose. We just lost everything. We might as well launch it. We launched that business strategy that night. And I am telling you this, that month it was so wild. We made $300,000. When you can learn to turn your wounds into wisdom, That's what's going to launch you to the next level. And the crazy part is, if we wouldn't have had this quote-unquote loss, we would have never had to think differently in order to come up with new creative, uh, new creative, uh, strategies for our business. Are y'all seeing it? This is crazy, man. And that's literally what launched our business into multiple 7 figures, and the rest is history after that. It's wild. Right? So when it comes to success, success never loses, it only learns. If you're ready for key number 5, drop a 5 in the chat. I'm trying to hook y'all up today. Number 5, this one is very, very important. Please do not miss this, okay? Success requires intention, but failure only requires neglect. What does that mean? Success requires intention, but failure only requires neglect. Can I break it down for y'all? In physics, there is a law called the law of entropy. If you're taking notes, you can write it down and check it out later. In physics, there is a law called the law of entropy. And the law of entropy states, an object left to itself will just continue to get worse over time. For instance, does your lawn look better or worse if you just neglect it? Talk to me in the comments, somebody. Talk to me in the comments, somebody. Does your lawn get better looking or worse looking if you neglect it? It gets worse. Does your health get better and better and better if you neglect it, or does it get worse? Which one? It gets worse. It's so interesting because if you take a shower but you neglect your hygiene for the next month, Do you look better and smell better, or do you look worse and smell worse? Worse. If you neglect your car engine and never change the oil, does the car run better or does it run worse? Are y'all seeing this? What does all this mean? It means success requires intention, but the law of entropy states that failure requires neglect. I know it's unfair. I know it's easier to neglect your business. I know it's easier to neglect the basic disciplines of life. But guess what? If you choose easy today, tomorrow will be hard. But if you choose hard today, tomorrow will be easy. That's how success works. That's why I told y'all earlier in the training that one thing that I like to do when I first get up, I like to just, whatever the hardest thing is of my day, whatever the thing is that I am like, I do not want to do this, I try to do it first. Why? Because I know how success works. I know success requires intention. And if I want to just continue to put off the thing that I do not desire to do, guess what's going to happen if I neglect it over time? Failure will become automatic. Are y'all seeing this? Drop some fire emojis down in the comments if y'all are seeing this, right? I'm telling you, friends, when it comes to success, you have got to be intentional. Every single good thing in your life comes through intention, not neglect. I know a lot of times whenever you are going through it and business or life or your finances or whatever it is, it feels overwhelming and it feels like, what are we gonna do? And you're like, ah, I just don't wanna face this. I'm telling you, do yourself a favor and choose hard today so that tomorrow will be easy. Do not choose easy today because tomorrow will be hard. You got to put intention. You got to put intention into this thing, man. Every area where you desire to grow, every area where you desire success, you must be intentional. Are y'all getting it? Somebody shout yes in the comments if you guys and gals are getting it, right? If you're ready for number 6, drop a 6 in the chat. We're gonna wrap here, guys, in just a little bit. Success key number 6. This one's a little bit silly. I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek here, but it's just the truth. The only place— somebody in the comments say only place— the only place where success comes 'Before work' is in the dictionary. The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. Friends, I need you to understand something. When it comes to your business, when it comes to your finances, there are no honorary doctorates. There are no honorary doctorates. It means you have to go through kindergarten first, and then you have to go through first grade, and then you have to graduate first grade and go to second grade, and then you have to go from second grade to third. You have to literally do the work. You have to go through the levels. And no matter wherever you're at in the journey right now, if you're like, man, I just feel like I'm in the third grade, congratulations, at least you're not in kindergarten. At least you started. And guess what? Keep on putting in the work because as soon as you pass this level, you're going to get to the next level. But you ain't going to get an honorary doctorate. It takes work, man. If you desire a reputation, you've got to put in the reps. Here's something that I've discovered over the past 3 years. Over the past 3 years, I've worked very intentionally on my health. I've worked very intentionally on my relationships. I've worked very intentionally on my business. And it's crazy. In the past 3 years, I've lost like 165-ish pounds. I'm trying to put on some muscle now, right? I've gotten in shape, which is crazy. I never thought I'd be able to say that. My businesses have made tens and tens and tens of millions of dollars, like all in the past few years. And here's what I've discovered. If you're taking notes, write it down like this: how you do anything is how you do everything. The same discipline that it takes to build a body is the same discipline that it takes to build your walk with God, is the same discipline that it takes to build your business, is the same discipline that it takes to grow your finances, is the same discipline that it takes to be intentional in your marriage, and on and on and on and on. Mike Tyson said it like this: Discipline is doing the thing that you hate like you love it. Do y'all think when I was over 300 pounds 3 years ago that I like, I love getting started with my workouts? No, at that— I do now. I'm like, I'm a gym rat now. But at the time I didn't. At the time I was like, oh my gosh, right? It's kind of like when you're first starting out in your business, you're like, I don't want to have to learn how to build a funnel. Oh my gosh, some of y'all now can build a funnel in your sleep. Some of y'all now literally started businesses building funnels for people because you learned a new skill. Everyone sucks on rep 1. No one sucks on rep 10,000. It's always hard on rep 1. It's always easy on rep 10,000. Are y'all getting this? Repetition brings skill. And the more skilled you become, the more success you will have. I'll say that again because some of y'all need to write that down. Repetition brings skill, and the more skilled you become, the more success you will have. Are y'all getting this? The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. Don't be like DJ Khaled where he said, congratulations, you played yourself. Don't play yourself, man. You got to put in the work. Somebody in the comments, shall put in the work, put in the work, put in the work. You got to put in the work, man. If you're ready for key number 7, drop a 7 in the chat. Let's go. We're just about done here, guys. Key number 7 when it comes to automating success, to seeing success become automatic in your life, is this: success isn't measured by what you accomplish, but success is measured by what You overcome. Success isn't measured by what you accomplish, it's measured by what you overcome. I know some of y'all right now, you're like, oh, I wish I wasn't going through this, I'm going through this thing, this is so hard, blah blah blah. Good. I'm glad it's hard. I'm glad you're going through it. I'm glad it's a little bit of a rough patch right now. Why? Because this is your training ground to actually become the next level version of yourself. Stop praying for an easier load and start praying and start working on getting stronger shoulders. I'm telling y'all, I was talking to a friend today and the friend was talking about how in the business that they, they desired to start, they were like, oh man, it's just an uphill battle. It's especially in the beginning, it's going to be an uphill battle. I said, bro, business and life and everything in life is an uphill battle. Get used to it. And you need to start learning how to enjoy the uphill battle because it never goes away. In fact, the more successful you get, the steeper that hill gets. That's it, period. The end. There's always gonna be speed bumps. There's always gonna be things to overcome. And the craziest thing ever, some of you might have heard me say this before. My wife and I recently, we were on a date and we were eating sushi. I'm making myself hungry right now. And matter of fact, I'm about to go get some sushi. We were on a date recently. We were checking in with each other and she said, we're going through something recently. That was kind of a big, just a normal big speed bump that we always go through. And she's like, "How are you feeling with everything?" I said, "Well, you know, it's interesting. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now, but this is so wild. I actually like that I feel so overwhelmed." And she looked me dead in the eye. She goes, "That was a sentence from somebody who is enjoying the growth process." And I said, "Exactly." Right? In the beginning, overwhelm feels like it's the big bad boogeyman, right? Oh, I'm so overwhelmed. Oh, I don't wanna go through this. This is so hard, blah, blah, blah. But the more you grow, the stronger you get, the more you overcome. Now when overwhelm comes knocking, because overwhelm comes knocking every couple of days. Can I get a witness? Is anyone there? Overwhelm comes knocking all the time. And now instead of me going, oh my gosh, it's overwhelm. Don't answer the door, turn the lights off. "Let's pretend no one's home." Instead of me responding like that, how I used to, now when overwhelm knocks, I go, I open the door wide open. Overwhelm, you were just here like yesterday. You little stinker, you. In fact, why don't you come in? Let's sit down, have some coffee together. Because friends, overwhelm is no longer the big bad boogie wolf. Big bad boogie wolf. Is that a word? Big bad boogeyman. Thank you, Boogaloo. I don't know what I said. Anyways, overwhelm is no longer the boogeyman. Overwhelm is now my friend. What did I just say? That doesn't even make sense. How, how can you be friend overwhelm? Because guess what? I have learned over the years that success isn't measured by what you accomplish, it's measured by what you overcome. And guess what? The more you overcome, the more success you will have in life, in business, in your finances, in your relationships, etc., etc., etc. So now anytime overwhelm comes knocking, I am so glad— I'm going to keep it 100 with y'all. I had a conversation with my team today and I was like, guys, business is going a little bit too good. Let's pray that God sends some more problems my way. Honestly, like, that was my prayer to God. Would you send some more problems for me to solve? I'm getting a little bored. I know it's a dangerous problem, but that— I just, I know the game now. Goliath is always the doorway to the destiny, friends. That's it, that's it. The giant is always the doorway. The fortified city is always the rite of passage into the promised land. That's just how it works. If you're taking notes, write it down like this: there's no strength without struggle, there's no advancement without adversity, and there's no destiny without difficulty. I'll say it again: there's no strength without struggle, there's no advancement without adversity, There's no destiny without difficulty. One more time, I see everyone scribbling. There's no strength without struggle. There's no advancement without adversity. And there is no destiny without difficulty. Champions aren't made whenever they win the title. Champions are made by overcoming all the obstacles that qualify them for the title. Are y'all getting it? Somebody shout yes down in the comments. You got to overcome some stuff, man. And if you're ready for key number 8, we're going to wrap with this one here, guys. Key number 8 in order to see success become automatic in our lives is this: success is not the absence of failure. It's the persistence through failure. Can I keep it 100 with y'all? You might see me here going, wow, well, just, it's Rick, so like, I mean, it's just easy for him. It is now, but guess what? I have failed more times than most people have ever even tried. I know you might be working on your first business. Guess what? I have failed on like 9 or 10 or 11 businesses. I failed on more businesses than most people even tried to start one. So yeah, it's easy for me now, but guess what? There was so much that I had to persist through. There was so much that— I've had countless opportunities to give up because it just got hard. It just got overwhelming. And guess what I decided? Notice I didn't say I tried. I decided I am going to persist It's going to work or it's going to work. Which one? In fact, if you're taking notes, write it down like this: Proverbs 14:23. I've been talking about it a little bit here in the session today. Proverbs 14:23 says, all work is profitable. What does that mean? It means it will work on you before it works for you. And until you come to grips with that, it will work against you. It will work on you before it works for you. And until you come to grips with that reality, it will work against you, period. My friends, success is not a destination. Success is a journey. These are 8 different keys that if you can begin to apply these keys to your life, success will become just as automatic as maybe failure feels for you right now. Think about this. People who are failing are not trying any harder to fail than people who are succeeding. Why? Because principles set things on automatic. Failure principles will make failure automatic. Success principles will make success automatic. So let's wrap together today and go all the way back to the beginning. Now that we've seen these success principles, please let me remind you, the only two ways to fail and to never see success is number one, you just never start. You're always trying to prepare to prepare to prepare to someday hopefully be prepared. And then number two, when you finally started, don't give up, especially when it gets hard. My friends, when you can apply these success keys, these success principles to your life, Success will become automatic.
