I Promise Me! Part 7

A motivational speaker leads affirmations on adopting a winning attitude, arguing that winning is a mindset, not a result. He cites Michael Jordan's six championships and Floyd Mayweather's undefeated record as proof, then uses the half-full glass metaphor to show how reframing situations as gains rather than losses changes everything.

Say this with me. I make a promise to me that my life will go on. Can you say it like you really mean it? I make a promise to me that my life will go on. Number nine, always have a winning attitude. Always have a winning attitude. There's a song that says, "All I do is win, win, win no matter what." I know some of y'all were up in here. How many of you heard that song before? Yeah. You gotta have a winning attitude, right? You gotta see yourself as a winner. The old saying is, quitters never win and winners never quit. I promise me that I will maintain a winning attitude about everything in life. Now that I realize that I can do whatever I set my heart and mind to do, you cannot deny me my moment. You cannot deny me my finish line. You cannot divide You cannot deny me my victory lap. You cannot deny me my celebration because I know that I am a winner in life. When you know that you're a winner in life, you don't allow other people's rejection of you to become a signal or a sign that you cannot succeed. A winner finds ways to win. Winning is an attitude, it's not a result. It doesn't end with people just having a celebration because the moment you do one thing, you do something It doesn't, it doesn't start with having your possession. It starts with having an attitude. It doesn't start with having goals and accomplishments in your hand. It starts with having an attitude. Winning is an attitude. It's a mindset. It's a mentality. Michael Jordan won 6 rings with the Chicago Bulls because he had a winning attitude. He had a winning mindset. Floyd Mayweather has an undefeated record because he has a winning mindset. When someone has a winning mindset, you can knock them down, but they will get back up. Winning is a mindset. Say this with me, winning is a mindset. Winning is a mindset. And that's what you gotta have in life, ladies and gentlemen. And this mindset is developed through a positive perspective. And I'm gonna give you one more and get out of your way. This mindset is developed through a positive perspective. Most people look at the glass as being half empty. But I submit to you today that it's impossible for the glass to be half empty. Why? Because when a glass was manufactured, when a cup was manufactured, it was manufactured with no content in it, right? It was empty. Didn't have anything in it. So anything that is poured in it becomes a surplus. It's an addition. So if you look at If you look at a glass that have half a container full of fluid and you see it as being half empty, then that's your mindset. You need to flip the way you think, reverse your perspective, and see it as being half full. If I give to you $10, that $10 does not make you rich, but it is a deposit toward your wealth that you did not have before I gave it to you. Always have a winning attitude. And number 10.
