Your limits come from your thinking, not your body. The speaker uses Proverbs 23:7 to argue that thoughts shape reality, and points to a biblical healing story to show how belief unlocks potential. He pushes back against victimhood and calls for a mentor to challenge your excuses.

His limitation wasn't with his hand, y'all. His limitation was with his thinking. Yes. Yeah. Do you understand what I'm saying? Yeah. So I want you to write some things down that I'm going to give to you that needs to be stretched in your life. Number 1, your thinking need to be stretched. Your mind need to be stretched. The issue is never what you think it is. The issue is never what you focus on. The issue is always going to be what you don't want to focus on and what you don't want to address and what you don't want to acknowledge. Amen. Your mind needs to be stretched. Your thinking needs to be stretched. If you think small, you will live small. If you think poor, you will live poor. If you think insufficient, you will live an insufficient life. If you think like a victim, you will live a victimized life. If you think no one loves you, you will not even love yourself. Amen. Your mind, that's the whole thing that God wants to change. He wants to change our mindset. Why? Because our mentality creates our reality. Say this with me, my mentality creates my reality. My mentality creates my reality. Say it again, my mentality creates my reality. So where do I need stretching? In my mindset. In my mindset. I need to stretch my thinking. Why? Because Proverbs 23:7 says, says that as a man thinketh, so is he. That's where his issue was. His issue was not with his hand, y'all. His issue was with his mentality. Yes. His mind. Notice that Jesus told him to do what he thought he could not do, and when Jesus told him to do it, he did it. What this man needed was a coach. Yeah. He needed a mentor. He needed somebody to stand with him and tell him, I believe in you. You can do what you want to do if you just start believing in yourself. Yes. This is a prime example for where people are in their lives today. You need somebody that can look beyond your excuses and see your potential. Let me say that again. Can I say that again, Leroy? Yes, sir. You need somebody that can look beyond your excuses and see your potential because as long as you are allowing for your excuses to exist in your life, they will cause for you to never use your potential. Jesus did not tell the man that he couldn't do it. He told the man, you can do it. Now stop making excuses and stretch your hand. Change the way you think and get up from where you are. Change the way you look at yourself and see yourself the way God sees you. Change the way that you govern your life and start pushing the limits because you can go beyond where you are right now. Amen.
