Rico Sharp explains the third step to unlocking your greatness: resetting your mindset. If God chose you, you're already qualified for your calling. Sharp shares how self-doubt almost stopped him from a leadership role until the organization saw what he couldn't see in himself. He says reject criticism, mediocrity, and the pull to fit in. Ordinary standards are the enemy of extraordinary purpose.

I'm gonna preach in a minute. Point number 3. So there's a process to bringing forth the greatness that is within you. There's a process to bringing forth the best within you. And point number 3 is you got to reset your mindset. Understand this right here, that you are enough. God chose you. And the fact that God chose you means that you're qualified. The fact that God chose you means that you have all that you need to do what God has called you to do. I was interviewed one time before by some people who wanted me to come speak and do some leadership training for their organization. And after I met with 4 or 5 of their team members and they laid out for me the qualifications and all these things, they asked me, they said, Mr. Sharp, do you believe you have what it takes? I said, no, no, no, I don't, but I am who it takes to get the job done. One of the representatives replied to me and said, you're the man we're looking for. See, there's a time in your life when you realize who you are in God and you stop allowing for people and temptation and Satan and sin and, and lust and anger and violence and cardinality and folk who don't agree with you, folk who don't support you, folk who don't like you, folk who try to size you up and measure you up, folk who try to disqualify you. You stop letting them pull you down to their level, and you demand that they come up to your level because you realize who you are. Come on, shout, I'm a bad mama jama! I'm a bad mama jama! I say, shout, I'm a bad mama jama! You got greatness within you. At some point, you got to get over your hangups and get over your struggle and get over being stuck like Chuck. Can I say to you that mediocrity is your enemy? Trying to fit in and trying to keep from rocking the boat, that's your enemy. Being ordinary is your enemy. Being common, being casual is your enemy. There's nothing ordinary about your God. You serve an extraordinary God, and his spirit, his DNA, his chromosomes, and his genes flows through your blood cells. You're not an average person. Stop trying to fit in with average people. Stop trying to let people who don't want to rise to their next level Keep you stuck in the shadows of what you can be. You were not created to eat crumbs that falls from the master table. I don't care what you've gone through in your past. God has pulled the chair up at the table for you. The feast is going on. The dinner can't start until you show up, and can't nobody sit in your chair but you. You. Have greatness within you. Say it again: I have greatness within me. Here now, point four: You need personal.
