Rico Sharp Live Stream

Rico Sharp teaches that God provides limited seasons of opportunity that require discernment to enter at the right time. He uses the metaphor of being pregnant with purpose and cites examples like Warren Buffett and Michael Jordan to show how persistence through failure leads to success. Sharp urges listeners to stop being cheerleaders for others and instead use their specific gifts to fulfill their own calling.

Upon that particular knowledge, that particular revelation, because you realize that when God moves in your direction, when he— when he leans in your direction, when he begins to move, when his hand begins to move things around, when he's doing it, not so that you can just celebrate, but so that you can have a reason to celebrate. Right. Everybody is celebrating, everybody is praising him, but some are praising him because of others' accomplishments. He wants you to praise him because you got your own breakthrough in life. Are you with me so far? Yes. Seasons are detected through discernment. Season is an interval of time, which means it's not here forever. Do you have enough discernment to recognize When is the right time to do the right thing? You can do the right thing, but you do it in the wrong time, and then your good becomes evil spoken of. You can do the right thing, but you do it at the wrong time, then your seeds get scattered on the ground as the parable of the sower. It's that there's a right time to move, there's a right time to act, there's a right time to do something. The Bible says that an angel would come down and would stir up the pool, and whoever in that season climbed into the pool when it was stirred, when the angel showed up, when the time was, they were healed of whatever disease. But if you got in that same pool and it wasn't the time for it, and it wasn't the season for it, and the angel had not stirred it, all you would do is get your clothing wet and your hair wet. And you go down sick and come out sick. Season is a window of time, and it doesn't hang around for so long. When a season shows up, it does not knock on the door of accidental, mediocre people who think that they're common, ordinary, and just natural. Season comes for believers. Pull it down, Holloway. Do the same thing I did. Do the same thing I did. Do the same thing I did. Everybody's going to get what they decided to have, but what you do with it matters the most. Holloway, what you do with it. All the streaming messed up now. There are people who sit back and all they do is celebrate the accomplishment of others. They are called cheerleaders in life. They don't ever join the game. They don't even be part of the action. They don't rewrite history. They're not a part of greatness. They work on the sideline. They have to have determined in their mind that I can't accomplish great things. I can't be anybody great. I can't go anywhere with my life. I can't do anything. I'll never be an engineer. I'll never be a rocketeer. I'll never be a doctor. I'll never be a world changer. I'll never be an innovator. I'll never be a tomorrow's thinker in today's world. So I might as well just use the little energy that I have to celebrate those who are. And while you're cheering on others, you're being subjected to a level of madness. Oh, I'm teaching right there. While you're chewing on others, life is passing you by. Birthdays are passing you by. Holidays are passing you by. Special moments are passing you by. Opportunities are passing you by. What God desires for you to do is recognize, according to 1 John 4:4, that greater is he that is in me. And according to Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ. In other words, I got Something to offer life. I'm not just waiting for life to offer something to me. I am an attributor to my society, and I am a distributor of greatness. All I need is an opportunity. Season comes for those who are waiting. But yet believing, waiting but yet anticipating, waiting but yet expecting. When a woman is pregnant, another term for the word pregnant is the word expect, which means she has something on the inside that has life to it, and at some particular point, at the appointed time, she expects to give birth to it. She's expecting. And I don't care if you are male or female, because I'm speaking symbolic with this statement. You ought to have something on the inside of you that you are ready to give birth to, and you ought to be in a state of mind where you are expecting. Tell your neighbor, I'm pregnant! Pregnant! I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant with purpose! I'm pregnant with potential! I'm pregnant with I'm pregnant with power. I'm pregnant with gifts. I'm pregnant with talents. I'm pregnant with an anointing. I'm pregnant with a dream. I'm pregnant with a vision. I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant. And all I want to do is give birth to what I'm pregnant with. Are there any pregnant people in here today? Pregnant. Pregnant. Pregnant by God. God planted the seed. God planted the sperm. God planted the seed. God planted the embryo. God planted it. And when God planted it, you can rest assured that God is going to provide where he guides. God's going to give the provision for his vision. God is going to make sure that you have what you need when you need what he promised. Seasons, they will hang around forever. And if you wait too long, The door will close. If you procrastinate too long, the door will close. The opportunity will pass, and you will find yourself in the same place year after year after year after year. When are you going to bring to pass the things that you call your New Year resolution? You said that 3 years ago, and you said it 2 years ago. You said it last year, you said it this year, but you've done nothing to move in the direction of bringing that into fruition. That's right. Time wins. Seasons come and seasons go. And the thing about seasons, if I may elaborate on it a little bit, seasons according to Psalm 35, you can thank Google for that, boy comes in there, seasons come and To give you the reality of what you envision internally. Season comes to give you the external reality of what you envision internally. When they talk about season, which is what I was referring to in Psalm 35, the parallel to that is in Psalm 24:3, which is about pride and pride season. What he was saying is that, Lord, I've had some rough seasons in my life. Oh God, please If, if, if David would say, I've had some good days and I've had some bad days, if, if you were to go into a state of evaluation and assessment in your own life, you would conclude with this fact, that you had some struggles along the way. That's right. And David was in a struggle of what is called a night season. And a night season is a season of darkness, a season of depravity. A season of disease, a season of division, a season of divorce, a season of death, a season of depression, a season of dejection. Lord, it's all going to begin from the deep. I fixed that up just for y'all. God, he gave David what is called a breakthrough. David said, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. In other words, he's saying, God is not going to leave me in my dark season forever, especially when he knows that I'm an opportunity So he concludes by saying, but joy comes in the morning, which means that the season is going to change. One season overtakes another season. When the dark season goes, the morning season comes in. In fact, the dark season don't just leave by itself. It takes the morning season to drive it away. The morning season represents seasons of breakthrough, seasons of blessing, seasons of laughter, seasons of joy, seasons of celebration, seasons of success, seasons of promotion, Seasons where you're experiencing the increase and the overflow of your God. J. Bass talked about it when he said that his mother named him J. Bass because in the time when he was born, she was in great sorrow and great distress. He said, but yet I prayed to God that this season would end, and I said, God, enlarge my territory and remove this curse off of my life that I've been sentenced under and allow for me to rise above, to The hand of poverty. And God granted him his request. What did God do? He changed the season. Time ain't changed. Time, season happens to the heart. Time— everybody gets the opportunity to enter into a new season. Everybody doesn't go in to the promised land of a new season because some don't discern that it's their time. Thank you, Lord. Point number 4, let me tell you guys how I got here. God is a just God. Solomon says time and chance happens to them all. God is a just God. That means that God gives everybody equal opportunity to do something great with their life. God may not give everybody the same gift. He may not give everybody the same purpose. Everyone don't have the same calling. Everyone doesn't have the same talents. We don't all have the same abilities. We don't all have the same doors open before us. We don't all have the same visions. We don't have the same dreams. We don't, we don't all have the same desires, but we all have something that we've received from our Maker. Amen. And it is your responsibility to understand what he gave you, to learn all you can about what he gave you, and to put what he gave you to use so that somebody else can be blessed by your life. And in return, it gets reciprocated back into yours. Point number 5, and I want you to jot these down if you haven't already. Again, as it relates to bringing these things to pass— your purpose, your greatness— there are some prerequisites that have to be engaged in your itinerary if you're going to come to the conclusion of success. And point number 5 is you have to mind your business. Are y'all understanding right now? Yes. When I say mind your business, I'm referring to 2 things. Number one, put your mind on your business. Whatever your projections are, it requires focus, thought, meditation, and concentration. You don't ever get an idea to jump up and take off running and you haven't had a chance to do a dissection of what you have as an idea. You have to make sure that you have your mind on your assignment. And number 2, what I mean when I say mind your business is you need to leave other folks' business alone. Oh, y'all are quiet. Mind your own business. Don't forfeit your opportunity to do great things because you're too interested in what someone else is doing. Don't allow for doors to be closed and windows to close and opportunities to close and businesses to close and days to close and weeks to close and months to close and years to close and lifespans to close. Growth while you're still sitting around trying to be overly busy in someone else's business. That is a form of self-defeat. We call it a distraction. There's always something that you're supposed to be doing with your time. There's always something that you're supposed to be doing with your gifts. There's always something constructive that you should be doing with what God gave you. But if you're too busy looking at what someone else is doing or what someone else is not doing and then focusing on what the Joneses are doing and then getting into that competitive spirit where you feel now that you got to try to keep up with them and you got to drive the car they drive, you got to have the house they have, you got to wear the clothing they have. You don't even know that they went bankrupt 150 years ago while you're trying to keep up with them. The stuff that they have now, they had it back then. You're older than your people, the same thing. In fact, that wasn't their car that they were driving. That was the witnesses' car. In fact, they're not even in that house. They don't own that house. They're renting that house. So you got to take your mind off of the Joneses and recognize that God gave you something specifically to do. And if you forfeit your time by focusing on someone else, you will be on the sideline. That's right. Amen. Preaching. Stay in your lane. Good morning, Lord. Stop— don't compare yourself to others and stop trying to compete with other people. Life is not about competition. Life is not about competing. Life is about completing. Amen. I've said it to every And minister that I know, I am not intimidated by anybody's ability to speak and communicate. I'm very confident in myself and what God has given me, and therefore you can put T.D. Jakes, you can put Noel Jones next to me, and if they pass me the microphone, I'm gonna do what I do. Like the boys in the hood say, I'm gonna let it do what it do. There's going to always be somebody smarter than you. There's going to always be someone richer than you. There's going to always be someone better than you. There's going to always be someone bigger than you. There's going to always be someone who looks better than you. There's going to always be someone who's more slimmer than you. There's going to always be someone who drives something better than you own. You drive. There's going to always be someone who has a house bigger than yours. There's going to always be someone who have more carrots in their dining room. There's going to always be someone that has to teach you something in life. Don't get intimidated because Because you look at them as somebody who is better than you. Rise up to the occasion and recognize, if I'm blessed to be in your presence and you are better than I am, then God wants you to show me how it is so that I can do what I can do and do it the way that I can do it. And you know what? I don't have to be somebody else. All I have to do is be me because I'm fine all by myself. And can't nobody beat me like I can beat me. And can't nobody beat me My name is Saki. I'm sorry. Yeah, and I learned to stay in my lane. I don't go get a bigger building because I see another guy go get a bigger building. I don't go get a new car because someone else got a new car. I know they don't like you, but you can't get into that going back and forth competing with each other, trying to your life. I must have somebody that will recognize that I can stay in my lane and go glory to God for Jesus. Point number 7, never— somebody shout, never! Oh, you didn't say it loud enough. Shout, never! Never give up. Don't let setbacks and disappointment serve as your demise. Success cannot happen without failure. Failure is the womb that births success. Warren Buffett said, I would never give a multi-billion dollar loan to somebody who hasn't failed. If you haven't failed, then you don't have tradition. If you haven't failed in life, then you don't have certification. If you haven't failed in life, then you don't have the experience. If you haven't failed in life, then you can't be religious. If you haven't failed in life, then you can't be fireproof. If you haven't failed in life, then you can't be waterproof. In other words, the fire and the storms will disintegrate your existence. And when you go through some things in life And you've fallen and you've failed and you've had trouble and you've gone through turbulence and you've had your back up against the wall and you've been in a place where you've been so far down that you couldn't even see your way up, then you are a prime candidate to join the front of the line and to fight on the battlefield and lead the rest of us. Because it takes somebody who has been through something to help the rest of us. Amen. You are going through something. You gotta do something. If you try one project and it fails, try something else. If you have one idea and it doesn't come into fruition, come out with another one. If you have one invention and nobody buys into it, then come out with another one and come out with another one and come out with another one and come out with another one. And sell your idea to these billionaires who are waiting. Hallelujah! Preaching, Kyrie! Your daddy preaching! Preaching, ain't it? And over and over. The Wright brothers failed multiple times before they were able to understand the law of gravity and aerodynamics, and then how to overcome gravity through aerodynamics. They had to fail many times before they were able to get that plane to not just come off the ground through thrust, but to stay off of the ground. Through levitation. And now check the roof there at Delta, American Airlines, and the list goes on, are flying people all around the world in the middle of— in hours, all because of someone who said, I would never give up. And then the next point, it's never too late. It's never too late for you to try again. Never to make you stronger. So you've been through a divorce, remarried. So you've had a repo, whether GM, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, they're still making cars. So you lost the home, well, Miranda Homes, D.R. Horton, they are still building communities. And I believe that if you look diligently enough, you'll find the one That has your name on it. It's never too late for you to turn your life around. It's never too late for you to turn your job into a career. It's never too late for you to cast your vision. It's never too late to turn your boat around and start sailing in the right direction. It is never— as long as you can breathe and as long as you are in your right mind and you still know who you are and whose you are, it is never too late. Too late. Point number 9, maximize your moment by recognizing that it's your time. Maximize your moment by recognizing that not only is it your time, but it's also your turn. It could be your time and it not be your turn. It could be your season and it not be your time. But when it's your When your season, your time, and your turn and everything has lined up in your life, then you go into your season and you recognize that it's your time and people understand that it's your time. And for those who've never heard me say this before, it's the equivalent to the holiday season. In the holiday season, there is what we call Christmas, uh, But the holiday season doesn't get here at Christmas time because that's not even the highlight of the holiday. But it doesn't begin until after Thanksgiving. And after we get past Thanksgiving, which is on the 24th of November, when we get past Thanksgiving on that Thursday, then from that following very next day becomes Christmas time. It's the holiday season, but it's not Christmas time until Thanksgiving has passed. But just because it's Christmas time doesn't necessarily mean the fact that it's Christmas term. Christmas term is one day. That day comes December 25th, not the 24th, 23rd, 22nd, 21st, 20th. And when you enter into your season In life to do something great. You know that it's your season to deserve it. You know it's your time because you realize that the opportunity is here for the opportunities. And when you come from the back of the line to the front of the line, you know now it's your turn. You're in line as you're He said, you're next in line for a miracle. Maximize your moment. Don't be a sideline player in the game. Be a light changer. Be a trailblazer. Be a goal setter. Begin from this day forward adding more thought, more time, more energy, more focus, more concentration to what potential Lies on the inside. And so often God will give you, uh, a poke. You know, Facebook has this, this thing, uh, where if you want to try to get somebody's attention, you hit the little poke button. Yes, yes. And ever so often when God wants to get your attention, when he wants to get your attention, he'll hit the poke button. The poke button is to bring you to an internal focus that you have something on the inside of you that That you're not getting support, that you're not getting nice about it. Don't go through life the rest of your life— hey, take a picture. Yeah, me too. Don't go through life the rest of your life only being able to put one new tire on your car at a time. Don't go through life for the rest of your life not being able to eat in restaurants. You have to— your budget is so strict that your budget is on a budget. Come on, man. Make your mark, pursue your purpose, develop your destiny, and maximize your moment. And the final point is simply this: God gives everyone an opportunity to do something great. You just have to use what he gave you. He gave Moses a rod. He gave the widow woman a cruse of oil. He gave the little boy 2 fish and 5 loaves. He gave David a harp. He gave Michael Jordan a basketball. He gave Tiger Woods a golf ball. He gave Deion Sanders a football. He gave Bill Gates Microsoft. He gave Floyd Mayweather boxing gloves. He gave Tyler Perry, Matthias, Steve Jobs the iPhone. Deion Sanders, he gave him the ability to run. I know I mentioned his name twice because the boy can run like nobody on the field when he get that football. He gave Mark Zuckerberg Facebook, Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, and Bill Stone, he gave them Twitter. He gave Oprah Winfrey journalism. He gave Walt Disney a playland, a vision of a playland for kids. He gave Sam Walton Walmart and Sam's Warehouse. He gave Colonel Sanders the same fried chicken that you cook in your house. I went to KFC yesterday to get some chicken for my boys, and I'm telling you, when I told the lady when she got there, I said, y'all are The highest chicken joint in the market. Yo, that shit chicken good. You want almost $2 for one piece of chicken. I say, if I'm gonna pay $2 for pieces of chicken, at least give me big pieces. You got to go to church and be higher than Popeyes, higher than church, higher than Famous Recipe, on the highest. And your chicken don't really necessarily taste any better than mine. And they've got more grease that you can turn a palm into a curly kit. He gave Richard and Maurice McDonald the business called Mickey D's McDonald's, and he gave Rico Sharp the ability to To talk, to preach, to motivate, to encourage, to inspire, to compel, to excel, to do this and that. And I just know that whatever he gives me, I have to use it because I can't lose with the stuff I use when I use what God gave me. And I'm out of time. You can't sit back in life and wait for somebody else to feel sorry for you, and then you're good. What you do with it is up to you, but God has given you something. Everybody has something. Your gift is your children. Your assignment is your job. And your purpose is the reason you do it. Okay. What do you think?
