Rico Sharp Live Stream

Rico Sharp teaches on Matthew 6:33, comparing the church's fivefold ministry to a government's cabinet positions. He argues each role from pastor to usher must be filled for the body to function, and emphasizes that believers walking in spiritual authority and the Holy Spirit's power can command rooms and confront demonic forces.

Oh God, to restore us. Oh God, we thank you today. We thank you today, oh God. We thank you for the spirit of forgiveness, oh God. Hallelujah! Abused, misused, mistreated, oh God. But we thank you, Lord God, that you delivered us, oh God. You delivered us, oh God, and give us a spirit of forgiveness, oh God. Oh God, we forgive the sin that was transgressed against us, oh God. We forgive the sin that was transgressed against us, oh God. Shabba sata, eshe bosia, Lord God. We forgive the sin that was transgressed against us, oh God. In your name, for you said as we forgive, you forgive us, O God. So we forgive the greatest, O God, the greatest of sins, O God, against us, O God. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Because of your mercy, because of your loving kindness, because you've kept us and forgiven us, O God. So we forgive, O God. We thank you, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you. Oh God, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you for the praise that you stirred up in our spirit, O God. We thank you for the praise, O God, that you placed in the house, O God. We thank you for the praise, O God, for we know that you inhabit praise, O God. Hey, we thank you, we thank you. When we don't feel like it, we thank you, Lord God. When our life don't look like it, we thank you, Lord. Yeah, we do, Lord. When our finances don't look right, we thank you, Lord God. When our homes, O God, are wracked with confusion and anger, Lord, we thank you, O God. Hallelujah. In the midst of it, we just send up a praise. Hallelujah, Shabbat! Hey God, we just stand up and send up a praise of hallelujah. Oh God, in the midst of the home, oh God, we say hallelujah. On the midst of our job, oh God, we send up a praise of hallelujah, Lord God. But in the praise, you show up, oh God. You make it right, oh God. You show up, oh God. So we thank you for the praise, oh God. We thank you for the praise, and we give you the glory. We give you the honor. We give you the praises. We give you the praises. We give you the praises in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, come on and lift the clap. Come on and lift up the Lord. Come on and lift up the Lord. Come on and lift up the Lord. Come on and lift up the Lord. Come on and lift up the Lord. Come on, you can do better than that. Come on and lift up the Lord. Make it easy for the word of God tonight. Make it easy for the receiving of the word. Come on and lift up a praise. Ha shabbas, say hey! Hey, glory to God! Lift up a praise in the house. Hallelujah! For the expectation of what God is doing. Hallelujah!
Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. We serve a mighty God. Amen.
Amen.
A mighty, mighty, mighty, mighty, mighty God.
Amen.
We serve an awesome and a mighty God tonight. He is so good and so wonderful. Hallelujah! He kept us all week. Amen.
Amen.
Hallelujah! He kept us all week.
Something else?
Hallelujah. We're gonna, um, pick back up from last Wednesday. I was talking about the kingdom of God, the kingdom of God. Hallelujah. And we're gonna— the foundation scripture is Matthew 6:33. Matthew 6:33. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God. You don't have to put this on, uh, was you putting this on Facebook stream? Okay, great. Okay, hallelujah. The kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, And his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. Now I'm just going to do a little quick, uh, review of the one who— if you was here last Wednesday, uh, by just a ring, uh, raising of a hand or, or a finger, can you tell me When the Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God, what is he talking about? If you was here last Wednesday, when the Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God, what is he asking us to seek? Well, we just going to do with the kingdom first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. Good. Yours? Amen. Yes. Amen.
Mm-hmm.
That's good. Amen. Good, good, good, good. And all those are right. When the Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God, a lot of times we know that scripture. We say it all the time. We know that scripture. But sometimes I have found with believers, Christians, that we really don't know what are we seeking in the kingdom. What is the kingdom? What is the kingdom? What's in the kingdom that I need to seek for? And everyone says that the kingdom is government, order, authority, power. agreement, unity, and it goes on and on. But that is the kingdom of God. And then it goes on, seek first the kingdom, but also it says— also it says, and his righteousness. Hold on just a minute, my iPad like it's wanting to shut off. And his righteousness. And what is his righteousness?
Amen.
Amen. That's right. Amen. It shut off. Hold on just a minute. The devil is a liar. And it's a full battery, so I don't know why it did that. Hallelujah. And all the— and it goes on and says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and all of his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. What is all these things?
Amen.
Amen. That is true. Hallelujah. So we definitely want to— it's rebooting. It would do that on me, huh? It's rebooting. That's why you got to keep the Bible with you, because these, these electronics are shut down on you. They're shut down on you. Hallelujah. Well, last, last week I was talking— we was, um, I was talking about seek ye first the kingdom. And how in the kingdom that as Christians, as believers, we have to know what's in the kingdom for us to seek what's in the kingdom. Because we got— we need to know what's in the kingdom, because if we don't know what's in the kingdom, we can't seek what's in the kingdom to apply to us. Because what's in the kingdom is the government, the government, the power, the authority. Um, that's in the kingdom. And God have set it up on the— in the earth realm like it is in heaven.
Right.
He set it up the same way because in, in heaven, uh, let's go to Ephesians 4. Ephesians 4. Ephesians 4. Hallelujah. You have it? Ephesians 4? Uh, I think it's 11.
Ephesians 4:11.
Alright. Ephesians 4, it says, and he gave some apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some pastors and some teachers. Can you go to the next verse? Verse 12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ. Amen. He gave these 5, fivefold ministries For the work of the ministry. Now, the work of the ministry, and I'm going to take pastor, the word pastor out of that fivefold for a minute because we're going to talk about the establishment of the government. And so dealing with the pastor of the church. It's set up just like the government. And I'm going to use— I'm going to use like the White House, okay? You have the president, you have the, the first lady, then you have the vice president, then you have the Speaker of the House. I have it here, but it's still loading. Uh, the Secretary of State, then you have The Secretary of Treasury. And the list goes on and on. I had it here. It's almost there. And it goes on and on. So each position in the White House cannot run properly if you don't have the people in that position. That's right.
That's right.
You cannot— you can't have the president and then you have no vice president. And then, you know, you can have the secretary— the Speaker of the House there. And then you have the— what is Hillary Clinton? Secretary of State. Secretary of State. And it just goes all the way down. Everybody up under that cabinet have a position they have to fulfill. And that position has to be fulfilled. If that position is not fulfilled, it's not going to operate right.
Right.
Because everybody have to do their part. Everyone has a job. Everyone has a job. And it's set up the same way on the— That's in the house. Now on the outside we have what we call the governor, the mayor, then you got the city officials, you know, and Congress is just a group of people to make sure things get done. So God set the kingdom up the same way. The kingdom of God is, is, is our reference for in— on the kingdom, in the kingdom here on earth. So when you have the pastor, then up under the pastor, we supposed to have associate pastor or assistant pastor.
Okay.
Up under the associate pastor or the assistant pastor, then you have the elders. After you have the elders, you have the ministers. After the ministers, you have the deacons or the stewards. Then the list go on and on with the children, the youth, the children's ministry, the outreach ministry. And so if anyone in that position is missing, is not operating in their position, the ministry can't work.
Yeah.
It's going to be missing puzzles. And it's not going to run right like it needs to run. Because we have to have everybody doing their part. Everyone doing their part. So if you have the pastor in position, you have alongside him, you have the first lady. That's where first lady come from. That's right. That's what it came from. It came from the presidential position. When you— when some, you know, in church and someone say, hey, first lady, because of the order that God have established and the government God have established in the kingdom, he established here on earth.
Amen.
So that's where that first lady count came from. Amen. So if you have the associate or the assistant pastor and you— we have no one in that position, then we drop down to the elders. And we can't only just have the name because we have people that have the title and the name, but really is not filling that position.
Right.
So if anyone that have that position, even all the way down to the deacons, the ministers, the ushers, it all falls up under that government.
Right.
And so we have to Make sure in the kingdom that that these positions are ran right, because if it's not ran right, it's not going to work. It's not going to be the working of the ministry. And if the if the working of the ministry is not ran right, and the edifying of the body. Because we got to be in position when people come into the house of God. We have to be in that position to be able to minister to them. Everybody got to have their part doing. All of us have to be on our posts. Everyone have to be watchmen. Yes.
Hallelujah.
See, can you shut this off and reboot it up for me, Minister? My technical skills are worse than it looks like with Sister Charity. If you want it to work, I might not be the one.
I'll try to piss it off.
See, it's still. Let's see if we do it again. I apologize for that. That won't never happen again because I write it on paper. Amen. Amen. So everyone has to be in in everyone has to be in their position because. When people come into the house of God and we're not on our post and in position to do what we need to do, it's going to reflect on the ministry.
Amen.
Each job has to be fulfilled. And when it's not being fulfilled, that means it's going to be a void, it's going to be a lack.
There.
I just said a cold one time. I think I got it. Let's see. Yes, ma'am. Is it plugged?
Yes.
It's fully charged. It's— yeah. Now it's asking for a password. Never mind. Asking for his password. Yeah. So it's fine. It's a password. I don't know it. You ain't gonna know it either. Yeah.
There's a password.
Mm-hmm. There's a password. He got it set up in here. But dealing with the government, each— the kingdom of God How God have set it up in heaven, how it needs to be here on earth. And it's a— God is a certain culture. The kingdom is run with and run by is the culture. And you know different people, like I said last Wednesday, by their culture. Some things is, you know people's culture by their food.
Right.
You know people's culture by how they dress. And so we should have the kingdom of God have that same culture because our culture as a believer, a child of God, when they look at us, They should know our culture.
Yes.
Because the Bible says that we should dress modest. We should dress modest. So that's our culture. We shouldn't be looking like we finna go to the club and all of our goody-goodies are out.
Amen. Amen.
It shouldn't be seen because that's not our culture. That's not our culture. And so, you know a person's culture on how they talk. How they talk. You know their culture by how they talk. And we have that same culture. Hallelujah. And the Bible says that we shouldn't, we shouldn't gossip. We shouldn't sow Caesar's discord. Amen.
Amen.
Because that's not our culture. And so we cannot allow and we cannot permit that to be around us. Because if you allow that kind of stuff and that kind of things that goes on, you're saying it's okay.
Yes.
It's okay. You should know a person's culture, even their work ethics. You know the old saying, your work is your signature? Anybody heard that before? Your work is your signature. And they should— they would know your works. That's why in the kingdom of God we shouldn't be just— when we do things, it shouldn't just be any kind of way. Because our God is an excellent God.
Amen.
So if he's an excellent God, our work should be excellent also because it's representing him. So anything we do, it doesn't matter what it is, we— it should be done with excellence. It should be done with excellence. In the business world, I remember when I was working at Lake Mary High School, and it was a young lady was a secretary at the school, and she just did typing and just did secretary work like any old kind of way, you know? Just did it just to get by. You could tell they just there for a paycheck. Well, at this particular time, the way how she was dressed— I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna— you probably already know this, but I'm just using this as a point because a lot of times you can tell a person if you want somebody to do something for you is how they dress. Because if they don't care about how they look They ain't gonna care about your stuff. They're not gonna care if you ask them to type up a paper for you. They gonna type it all any kind of way. Grease stains all on the paper. Typos. Right, no spell check, nothing like that. If they don't care how they look, they ain't gonna care about how they set up, how they do things. And that has a lot to do with it. You want to dress how you want to be addressed.
Yes.
And you don't want to dress one way and then out of your mouth saying another. Because it will be confusing. You saying hallelujah, praise the Lord, but it don't match. It don't match. Now that's no one in here, so don't look at it like, who's she talking about? Amen. So we have to make sure that our culture in the kingdom represents. We have to make sure it represents. Because it don't— if it don't represent and if it doesn't match, then God says all these things cannot be added unto you.
Right.
Because you're not Your privilege will be revoked, if I can use that word. It will be revoked. Your privilege will be revoked. And it's just like a person that— you got a grown man that lives in the house, don't work, not contributing anything to the household, but want to reap the benefit. That's right. Sucking up the air, eating all the food, no cleaning, no help at all. But the Word of God says if a man doesn't work, he shouldn't eat. So he shouldn't be— he should not have the benefits, the privilege of of the house.
Amen?
Amen. So we have to make sure that we are representing the kingdom of God. We have to make sure of that. We have to make sure that we are in our position in the body that everything can run smoothly. Because everything in heaven is running smoothly. In heaven, they are walking in agreement. They in agreement because the scripture say how two can walk together except they agree. They have to be in agreement— God, the Son, and Holy Spirit— because in Genesis It says, let us. It said, let us make man in our image. They was in agreement. Hallelujah. And so we have to be in agreement in the house of God. Because if we not— if we are not in agreement and walking together, Yes. It's going to be chaos. We have to walk together in unity. How good and pleasant it is for brothers to be in unity. We have to be in unity on one accord. When everything is on one accord, And everybody is on one accord, no strife, no fighting, no bickering, no jealousy. Thank you. You will see the power of God hit this place.
Amen.
The power of God will hit this place like never before. Signs and wonders will manifest. The blind eyes will be opened. Deaf ears will be opened. Hearts will be healed. The lame will be able to walk.
Amen.
If we can just get on one accord. If we can just get on one accord. And be in unity and, and the power of the Holy Ghost. When the power of the Holy Ghost hits you, you will see things just start moving in the atmosphere, changing in the atmosphere. Hallelujah. And we cannot be afraid to walk in that authority. Right. We can't be afraid to walk in authority, and nine times out of ten we can't walk in the authority and the power that God have given us because we are not lining up with His Word. We're not living a holy lifestyle. We're not standing in righteousness. And so when when you know or when I know. I have done something, or you have done something, you get kind of shameful. Your confidence is low. So when the enemy comes up against you and your confidence is low, you're not going to rise up and declare the word of the Lord, because in your mind you're going to be shameful, like I didn't did this. I didn't said that. God is not going to use me. So the power cannot be protruded through you to help someone else. But when you know you are in right standard with standards with God, and you know that you know that you know, you will rise up and declare the word. Of the Lord, you will put the enemy to flight. But if we don't, if we surrender our power and our authority to the enemy, he gonna back us right up in the corner. He gonna back us right up in the corner because he know. You done did something and you don't have the confidence and the courage to stand up for yourself and for anyone else. And you know you can't intercede for anyone else and stand in the gap for anyone else because what you did last night. That's right. Or what you said last night. And the enemy knows that, and he have a field day with us because he knows that we don't know who we are. He knows that we're not operating in the power and the authority that God have given us. And so he just run rampant through our household, in our community, in our cities.
Come on.
That's why it's so much stuff that's going on in the city, because the church is not rising up. Come on back. And the enemy is just taking our sons and our daughters because the church have lost its power. And that's not our culture.
Right.
That's not our culture. We are blood-bought believers holding up the bloodstained banner. We are victorious in God. We are conquerors in God. In God, not in us.
Right.
Not in my strength, but in God I can do all things.
Right.
That's why we got to stay in God.
Amen.
We have to stay in God. We can't be hopscotching, hopscotch, jumping, um, the double dutch.
Yeah.
We can't do that because someone else's life depends on you. Someone else's life depends on you to pray them through. You don't know how many people is watching you, have their eyes on you.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. And through your life, because our life shall represent God, our life, without even saying anything, our life should speak volumes. When you— you should have so much confidence in you. When you walk in it, when you walk into a room, you command the room.
Right.
So any devil, any demons, any witches, any warlocks, when you come in there, they need to leave because you just walked in the place with power.
That's right.
You just walked in the place with authority. And when you walk in the place, you should be looking where you at because you got to go without saying a word. The anointing of the Holy Ghost that's resting on your life. So when you walk in that room, you command the room.
Amen.
You don't have to say anything. You don't have to be the one up here preaching. You don't have— you could be sitting in the back but full of power, full of the anointing, because God have given all of us that. We all have it. So when we come in this building, And all of us are saved. All of us filled with the Holy Ghost. All of us filled with the power. All of us filled with the anointing, and the anointing is on us and in us. Any unsaved person that walk in that door should be able to feel it, see it, and get delivered.
Amen.
Because that's how the kingdom runs. That's how the kingdom runs. Hallelujah. We should not have no service, no service at all. That we allow the world to come into the place and take over.
Amen.
It should not happen that any unsaved person that walk in this place, if it's 2 or 3, should Run the church. Should run the church. It should not happen. You supposed to be so much full of the power and the anointing. When they sit next to you, they'll want to move. They'll start moving like, oh gosh, what's going on? That's that devil getting restless because they stand by you and you speaking in tongues. He come that up on Sunday and they be like, oh, I got to move. They want to get away from you because that devil is in them trembling. And you can— and that person can get delivered because of you. A devil can get a person— a person who have a devil in them can be delivered by a hug. Even with the greeters, you can hug that person and break the devil back. Because as you hug them, the anointing that's on your life Can break yokes, can break chains off of that person by a hug. Then when they hit the greeter, now by the time they get from the from the door up here, they could be delivered and set free because when they leave the greeter, the usher gonna hit them. And then if they need a little bit more, the praise team, by the anointing of the Holy Ghost through song, gonna hit them. So by the time the pastor get up, they could be set free and done and delivered. So now all he need to do is preach the word. And then if they still need a little bit more, then that word gonna finish them up. That's how it's supposed to be. That's how it's supposed to be in the house of God.
Hallelujah.
That's how it's supposed to be. That's how God wanted. That's how God have set it up. Just like that. Because we have so much. Not only do we have God the Father, God the Son, and Holy Spirit, but we have a whole host of angels. A whole host of angels that's backing us up.
Amen.
What you afraid of? You got an army on your side. That's right.
That's right. That's right.
Hallelujah. But all of us have them. But some of our angels are lazy because we don't send them out. We don't dispatch them. You have to command them to go because they gonna stand on post and they like. Ready, set, go. But if we don't command them to go, they're not going nowhere. You have to command them. I release my angels to go. Go protect my child at school. I send the angels now to camp around that school.
Right.
But if we don't do that and we feel we fall short in the kingdom of God because of we not standing— we not standing in right standards with God. We're not operating in the government. And when we don't operate in the government, we lose our privileges.
That's right.
That's why when it says, then all these things are added, they're not going to be added because one, we don't know what's in the kingdom. Two, we're not lining our life up with the Word of God. So we in the church and not receiving anything. So when we pray and ask God for different things for our lives, God say no. The answer should not be no because everything in God is yes and amen. But the answer be no because You broke the law. And when you break the law, your privileges are taken. And some of us— when I was— last Wednesday when I was talking about the law, the law is just like the law of the land. If you break the rules, you either go to jail— Or you die. You lose your privileges of voting. You lose privileges of having a good job. Because now that's on your record. And sometimes when you go look for a good job and they pull your record, they see it's all on there. So you lose privileges. And it's the same way in the kingdom. We lose our privileges because we broke the law. And the law is the 10 Commandments. The law is the 10 Commandments. So we break the law, we can't have what God has for us. But we— and we don't have our citizenship. That's right. We are citizens, but we don't have our citizenship. And there's a difference.
