Rico Sharp Live Stream

Rico Sharp teaches that God gives every believer a measure of faith, and when Jesus enters your life, He brings His own limitless faith with Him. Sharp uses stories of miraculous provision and healing to show how this conviction transforms lives, urging listeners to trust God's promises and receive prayer.
Chapters
If God said it and spoke it and promised it and you believe it, He has to do it. He has to do it. That's right. That's very simple. He has to do it because He cannot lie, but the key is your belief. In what He said. Amen. There's a song we sung in the Baptist church, a lot of the hymns were good hymns, some of them, glory be, I won't get into, weren't so good. But one of them was Standing on the Promises. You ever hear that song? Yeah. And that is a key walking in faith, standing on what God has promised, that He will do what He said He will do. So say this with me tonight. Faith— Faith— Is a conviction— Is a conviction— Of the truthfulness of God. Of the truthfulness of God. And tonight— And tonight— I am convicted— I am convicted— In my spirit— In my spirit— That whatever God has said is true, and if I believe it, He will do it. Do you believe that? Yes. Hallelujah. That's what faith is all about. That's what faith is all about. It's very simple. Now, the second thing that God began to give me understanding about that changed my life He showed me in the Scripture in Romans 12:3, it says, God has given to every man the measure of faith. Now, I'm sorry ladies, but you can't have it. That's right. Because it says He's given to every man. What God's got for me, He's got for me. Say it again. What God's got for me, He's got for me. Say it again. What God's got for me, He's got for me. She's grabbing a revelation. Hallelujah. There's no male or female in Christ Jesus. So when God— see, men are part of the bride of Christ. Women are sons of God. Does that make any sense? Not in the natural mind, but it's God's plan. There's no male or female in Christ Jesus. So when he says, God has given to every man, he's talking about everybody. The measure of faith. Now, I was asking God, okay, what is a measure? And God began to give me some very simple illustrations. Now, when whoever made this shirt for me, they— this boy that had it made took my picture and took it to them so they had an idea of my size. So they measured the material so they would have the right amount. Are you with me? Yes. When you go out on the highway, I-4, you have time to read signs like tonight when it's bumper to bumper to bumper, and it will tell you how many miles to Daytona Beach and how many miles to Tampa and different things because somebody has measured the distance To know the right amount. Are you with me? Now, I don't know how you ladies cook. A lot of our men, there's some good men cooks around, I'm telling you. But my wife has kind of quit making things from scratch. Y'all know what that means? Yes. She likes these cans. Like canned biscuits. Her grandma didn't use a can. She made them from scratch. But she has one cake that she makes. It's called a chocolate peanut butter fudge. And she makes it from scratch. It doesn't come from a can. So she measures the flour, she measures the eggs, she measures the milk, she measures the chocolate, she measures the peanut butter so she will have the right amount. Are you following me? Amen. Oh my goodness, is it good. I dream about it when I'm in Africa. Or Asia, either one, or anywhere. Now, what I'm saying to you tonight, that's what God was showing me. Why do we measure things? To get the right amount. Are you with me? Yes. So that's what a measure is. Now, God says He has given to everyone the measure of faith. The right amount. The right amount. The right amount. The right amount. That's why He said, the just shall live by faith. Don't say I can't live by faith because God says you can do it because He has given you the right amount to do it. Oh, hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. He gave you the right amount for salvation. Yes. The right amount for forgiveness? Is it true? Did He give you the right amount to receive eternal life? But He didn't quite give you the right amount for healing. Oh, He did? Oh, are you sure? And health? Are you sure? Uh-oh. I hope somebody's hearing me because I'm not saying it out loud. If you really believe, you've got that faith, then you won't live in sickness all the time. Is it true? Yes. Did He give you the right amount to live in prosperity? Huh? Uh-oh. Now I don't know you people personally, but I know this in my spirit, some of you are not tithers. Oh, right now. He gave me permission, it's all his fault. Because you don't understand it. You think God's just after some money. But you see, if you understood tithing, you would understand He's after blessing you. That's right. And that's one of the ways He does it. But if you don't understand it, you won't obey it. Come on. I'm loving you. I said I was going to love you a little bit. Hallelujah. Whatever area you disobey is because you don't understand it. Yes. Very simple. Very simple. So to understand faith, you have to know He has given you the right amount. Now here is the revelation of how He did that and that's the main thing I want to share with you tonight. To understand you have it is one thing, to understand how you have it is going to help you live in it. It's very simple, but you must receive it by revelation. Say, I'm grabbing this revelation. I'm grabbing this revelation. It's a revelation. I'm not talking about getting it in your mind, I'm talking about getting it in your heart. That's when you'll start to live by it. Amen? Amen. Hallelujah. You know the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance, longsuffering, faith. The fruit of the Spirit. Now, let me just give you a simple illustration. The first one is love. Now, I have never been around Pastor Rico and his wife. I asked— I've seen you when I've been here before, but I asked him tonight, this is your wife over here, right? Because I've met her, but you know, we've never spent time together, right? So I— we've— I've spent a little time with him, but I don't know her like I know him. And I don't really know him that well because I haven't spent that much time. But I'm going to use them tonight with your permission. Yes. There you go. That's a good faith step to give you an illustration. So both of you, would you come up here a minute? Very simple question I'm going to ask you. Now, you have to think about this answer Because your wife is listening and the people are listening. So question number 1, do you love your wife? I do love my wife. I was sure hoping you'd say that. Does that make you happy? Yes. All right, that's good. Now, second question. I don't know what door you came in of this building, but when you walked in the door here tonight, Did you bring your love for her with you, or did you stop outside and say, oh, I'm going to leave my love for my wife outside? I've carried it around for 24 years. So it's part of you? It's part of me. You take it everywhere? Everywhere. Everywhere you go? Everywhere. Does that make you happy? Yes. Hallelujah. I think he deserves a little kiss. Whoo! Thank you. Give Jesus a hand. Now, hear me. I did that to help you remember this. When Jesus walked in the door of your life, did He bring His love with Him? Or did He stop and leave it outside? He brought it? Are you sure? I'm getting ready to love on you. Hallelujah. Jesus said in John 13:34, a new commandment I give to you. Not a suggestion. It's a commandment. That you love one another as I have loved you. Does Jesus get mad at you when you do wrong things? Does He fuss at you? Does He scold you? Does He stop speaking to you? Come on. Hello. Uh-oh. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another just like I love you. Yes. Amen. But the average Christian does not. Is it true? The church is full of hypocrites. Come on. If you've been in the church very long, you know that. That's right, brother. They walk up to their brother or their sister, shake their hand, hug their neck, oh, how you doing, sister? I'm so happy to see you tonight. I love you, but on the inside, is it true? Uh oh. You mean that happens in Sanford? Uh oh. That's where it started. That's where it started. Oh! Cut that out of the tape, brother. Whoo! Mercy, mercy, mercy. Am I talking truth to you? Is that the way it really is? Why? Because the church doesn't understand the love of God. They don't have the revelation that when Jesus stepped into your life, He brought His love. Most Christians are trying to love each other with natural love and you can't do it. The first time somebody makes you mad, Is it true? Yes. That's natural love. That's not God's love. No, not at all. But the commandment is to love each other as I have loved you, and only because He told us to do that, He gave us His own love. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts Yes. By the Holy Ghost. That's how you can do it. Joy, second fruit. Most people live with natural joy based on circumstances. If everything is going good, oh, hallelujah, I'm happy. Problem comes, oh. Is it true? Natural joy. But God says, the joy of the Lord is your strength. God says, rejoice in the Lord when you don't have problems. Some of you are saying, that's right, and you're not even listening to me. Does God say rejoice in the Lord when you have problems? Yes. Unless you have problems? Always. Always. You can't do that in the natural. But with the joy of Jesus, you can do it. Are you with me tonight? Yes. I'm leading up to a big revelation that can change your life. Peace is the third joy. Most people live with natural peace. As long as their security system is working, they go to bed in peace at night. Is it true? Come on. How many people own guns today? Oh my gosh, we won't get into that. While they have that gun, they're at peace. Uh-oh. Well. Jesus said, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. If you are living in the peace of Jesus, you don't live in fear. That's right. I couldn't tell you how many Christians, and I'm even talking ministers, my agreement list has, oh my goodness, shrunk. Amen. So much over the years. Because I used to call people or write people and email them or whatever and say, I'm going on this trip and I'm going here and there. Or I'd come back and I'd share a testimony how God delivered me from getting falsely arrested and beaten and kidnapped and near death and whatever. And then I'd say the next year I'm going back and they'd say, are you crazy? What if you get killed over there? What if they try to arrest you again? Are you stupid? I hear pastors telling me that because they're in fear. God told me to go so He's going to take care of me and inside I have peace. Amen. I could tell you testimonies. sitting in a jailhouse in Accra, Ghana, falsely arrested so they could get money because in their mind white men are rich men. Amen. Them taking the prisoners out of the cells, throwing them on the floor, taking a whip and beating them with their bare skin and saying, if you don't do what we say, this is what's going to happen to you. That's a natural incentive to bring fear. Is it true? Yes. Having a man jump in my car and put a gun to my head and say, if you don't give me your bill— your wallet, I'm going to blow your brains out. In the natural, that will create fear. Is it true? Yes. It has happened to me. I could tell you lots of stories. I'm going to these places. I'm going to Vietnam excited, not afraid, in peace, not afraid. I had my suitcase confiscated 2 years ago. I had it shipped to Vietnam from India, one of them, it was cheaper, and just totally forgot to take my Bible out. Amen. Yes. And when it got to immigration, they opened it and found the Bible, found my teaching notes which they called evangelistic tools, and they were going to confiscate my suitcase, keep it, and were calling me to come in for questioning, which was their way of saying, when you get here, you're not going back out, you're under arrest. But God had a plan. Amen. Hallelujah. One of the men in the immigration office just before that came to my son-in-the-LORD's church service and accepted Jesus. So Joshua called him and told him what was happening, so he called the office and said, you release that suitcase immediately And I better not hear of you harassing this man anymore. All right. But I didn't get my peace after that happened. Are you hearing me? I had it all the time. Are you understanding me? Because I have a revelation that I have the peace of Jesus. When Jesus stepped into my life, He brought His peace. Are you following me? Because this is very simple, very simple. Now the rest of the fruit of the Spirit are the same way. Gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance. He brought all His fruit with Him. Is this true? Yes. What about His faith? Oh, you got a little quiet on me. When He stepped into your life, did He bring His faith? Yes, He did. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. You mean to tell me you have the faith of Jesus? Uh-oh. You're getting quiet on me. You're not sure whether to amen or oh me. Because that's why Jesus said, the things that I do shall you do also. Because I'm about to step into your life and bring My faith. Amen. Amen. These signs shall follow them that believe. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. They shall cast out devils. On and on. The things that I do shall you do also. Because when He stepped into your life, He brought his faith. Paul had a revelation. He talks about it several times. One of them is in Galatians 2:20. I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me. And the life that I now live in the flesh, not when I get to heaven, in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God. Hallelujah. Who loved me and gave Himself for me. So when He said He has given to everyone the measure of faith, the right amount, oh, He gave you His own faith. Oh! Oh! Oh! Natural faith has limitations. The faith of Jesus has no limitations. Amen. Natural faith hears what the doctor says, nothing can be done. The faith of Jesus said, nothing is impossible. That's right. That's right. Is anybody hearing me tonight? But because the church doesn't understand that revelation, that's why they believe more in doctors than they do in Jesus, more in their bank account than they do the promise of prosperity. Is anybody hearing me? Amen. But when you get the revelation, the revelation that when Jesus stepped into your life, He brought His faith with Him. He didn't stop at the door and say, wait a minute, I'm leaving my faith outside. He brought it. He brought it. He brought it. So if you have Jesus, You have the faith of Jesus inside of you. Oh! Oh! You don't get it yet because you're just sitting there looking at me. Oh! Oh! Oh! Whoo! Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. I'm telling you, This revelation turned my life around. I don't live in sickness anymore. I don't live in poverty anymore. I don't live in hopelessness anymore. I don't live in defeat anymore. I don't live in discouragement anymore. I don't live in depression anymore. I don't live in fear anymore. I don't live in worry anymore because I got a revelation. I got understanding. I know that I know that I know that I know that I know that I know that because I have Jesus, I have the faith of Jesus living in me. Whoo! Hey! And nothing is impossible. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing. Whoo! Oh! Hallelujah! Oh! Mercy, mercy, mercy. Hey God, hallelujah. Now, if you're just hearing me with your mind tonight, you'll walk out the door and nothing will change. But if you're grabbing a revelation, something's going to change. Hallelujah. And that problem you go to bed with tonight and wake up and it's still there in the morning, You're going to look at it different. Yes. He never said we wouldn't have problems, but He gave us His faith to get us through them, to face them, to give us hope, peace, joy while we're going through the situation. I'm telling you, if you have Jesus— it's a revelation. It's simple. It's very simple, but it's a revelation. You can't understand this with your mind, but if you get it in your spirit tonight, because I have Jesus, I have the faith of Jesus living in me. Yes. Praise God. Hallelujah. Now, Paul said, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. Oh! Oh! Whoo! Hey! Oh! Now, are you convicted He told the truth? Yes. Maybe he just thought that's a good thing to say and just spoke it. Huh? Uh-uh, I don't think so. It's truth. It's truth. Glory. Now I live by the faith of the Son of God because it's in me. It's in me. It's in me. It's in me. But he did that for me because I'm white. No? Are you sure? You mean that works for Black people too. Everybody, everybody, everybody, everybody who what? Who believe. Oh, oh, oh, whoo! Oh, somebody's grabbing the revelation. I'm telling you, it'll change your life. It'll change your life. If you get the revelation, the understanding, now you live by the faith of the Son of God. My body says I'm in pain, but my God says I'm healed. Praise the Lord. Thank you. My bank statement says I don't have any money, but my God says I'm blessed. Are you hearing me tonight? Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Woo! Oh, thank you, Lord. Now your pastor and I don't talk a whole lot. First of all, he's a hard person to get, but don't tell him I told you that. But anytime you have ever talked to me and you say, how are you doing? Have you ever heard me tell you about any of my natural problems? No, sir. Is that because I don't have any? No. What do I normally say? I'm an overcomer in Christ Jesus. I'm victorious. I'm more than a conqueror. And you go on and on. On and on and on. When I walked in tonight, that's what he said. And I went through that. I said, I'm an overcomer. I'm more than a conqueror. I'm blessed and highly favored. I'm healthy, wealthy, and wise, filled with the Holy Ghost, walking in truth, serving God with joy. Yes. Hallelujah. And then I asked him, I said, did you want to know anything else? Is that true? Because that's what God says. That's what God says. If I were to talk natural to you tonight, I could go tell you some problems I'm facing. What good would that do? That's right. Some of y'all talk in the natural, doesn't get you anywhere except behind. Come on, I'm loving you now. But when you say what God says and believe it, and believe it, See, you can have the faith of Jesus, but if you don't activate it, it's no good. Faith without works is what? Dead. Uh-oh. And you've got to be consistent. The double-minded man receives nothing. So what does the average Christian say in the church service? Hallelujah, I'm healed! Monday morning, I'm sick. Double-mindedness. Come on, I'm loving you. I told you I was going to do it. I gave you warning so you could leave and you didn't leave, so. Is it true? Is it true? Is the average Christian double-minded? Yes. Come on. Does it get you anywhere? No. No. But you don't understand consistency. But tonight you prayed for God to open your eyes of understanding. Oh, when you see it, when you really, really see it, Now I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. I have the faith of Jesus. Amen. For my health, for my blessing, for my For my peace, for my joy, for everything. For everything. Everything. I have His love. Oh my goodness, it's hard to love some people. Y'all probably don't know that yet, but— is it true? Yes. Oh my goodness. I'm not talking about the world, I'm talking about the church. Yes. I do it all the time, but I just talked to a pastor I've known for years on the phone yesterday. In the hospital with a stroke. Much younger than me. Because he let people get to him. And He started telling me, you love them and they stab you in the back. You help them, they betray you. And on and on and on. You can't love them in the natural. You can't. Cannot. But you have the love of Jesus. Right. You can't be in peace in the day we live and walk down the streets of the world at night. You can't do it. But with the peace of Jesus, you can do it. Amen. You can let your circumstances rule your joy or you can understand you have His joy. Yes. Amen. Amen. I'm telling you tonight, you have the right amount of faith to believe for whatever you need. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever. That's why God says whatsoever things you desire, When you pray, believe you receive and you shall have them. He didn't put limits. He said whatsoever. Oh, and the average Christian is sick and poor and fearful and worried and depressed and— is it true? Yes. Because they don't understand, they don't have the revelation. But tonight, somebody Somebody here is grabbing a revelation that's going to change their life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. When you walk out the door tonight, I want every one of you to stop at the door and put the faith of Jesus on the carpet. Don't take it with you. Take it with you. It works. It works. It works. It works. It works. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Whoo! Oh! Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Lift your hands and say, thank you, Jesus, for giving me your faith. And with your faith there is no limitation. There is no impossibility. Thank you, Jesus, for helping me To live by your faith tonight, tomorrow, every day of my life. I believe it. I receive it in the mighty name of Jesus. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Give him a praise. Give him a praise. Woo! Hey! Oh, thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Whoever has pain in your body right now, stand up. You got any kind of pain in your body, stand up where you are. Hallelujah. Any kind of pain, stand up where you are quickly. Thank you, Jesus. Lay your hand on the area where the pain is. Lay your hand on the area where the pain is. Say this with me, in the name of Jesus, I curse and cancel the spirit of pain. Loose me now. Get out of my body. My God says, by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed. I believe it. I receive it right now in Jesus' name. Now move.
