Pastor Rico Sharp teaches on the revelation of faith using Ephesians and other New Testament passages. He outlines multiple dimensions of faith, from measure and gift to spirit and unity, and uses biblical examples like Enoch and Elijah to show how faith operates in practice.
Chapters
Father, we're here today.
We open ourselves to you, and we're asking you to flow into us even now.
Amen. And the church said, and the church said, amen, amen. While you're standing, grab your Bibles. Hold the Bibles up.
Repeat after me.
Say, this is my Bible.
I am who it says I am. I can live how it says I can live. I can have and I can do all that it says in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Turn with me to the book of Ephesians chapter 3, verse 20. Ephesians 3:20.
Amen. Thank you, God. Hallelujah to the Lord.
Ephesians 3:20.
And we do release the kids at this time to go into their own classrooms, own church sanctuary. So we release the kids. We got classrooms for all kids ages Ephesians 3:20 declares, now unto him which is God, that is able to do exceeding abundantly Above, exceeding and abundantly above all that we ask and all that we think. And he does it through the power that works in us. He does it through the power that works in us. Ladies and gentlemen. The power that works in us is the power of faith.
Amen.
That's the power that works through us, in us, and for us.
Yes.
You may be seated. I'm going to ask you To look in chapter 1 of the book of Ephesians.
I want to talk about the revelation of faith today, the revelation of faith.
Ephesians chapter 1, beginning At verse 15. Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. Here's what Paul prayed for specifically as it relates to the church. He said, my prayers for you is, in verse 17, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Father of glory, that He will give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Verse 18, for this cause, or for this purpose, so that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened, which means that you will be gifted with the ability to understand spiritual things and things that relate to the kingdom of God. It goes on to say, and that you may know, or that you may come into the knowledge And revelation of what is the hope of his calling and the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Verse 19, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward, or toward us, who believe, which means who operates in the realm of faith. According to the working of His mighty power. Now there's a lot here to dissect, to distribute, and to digest. I want to take about half an hour at the most and try to get as much of this to you as I possibly can.
Amen.
I want to focus on this subject or this focal point, which is the revelation of faith. The word revelation means that which is unveiled or revealed, that which was at one point not known but now has become known. There is a certain revelation of faith, and it is in our best interest, it is to our advantage, it is imperative that we seize the moment to understand faith because faith, next to salvation, is the greatest gift, next to salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit. It's the greatest gift that God could have given us or made accessible to us being the body of Christ. One of the things that it is important that I make note of is that for years we've heard people talk about faith but didn't necessarily explain it to us. We've been told, hey, you need faith, or You just got to believe.
Yeah.
So we've been instructed as to what we need, but not necessarily have had the directions of how to obtain it. It's like someone telling you to go fish but don't teach you how to catch fish. Fish don't just jump in your bucket, your cooler, or even in your boat. There's a certain method, there's a certain science, there's a certain strategy that you must have if you're going to be successful in catching fish.
Amen.
Ephesians 3:20, our first scripture, says that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think, and he does it according to the power that works within us. Faith operates within a realm.
Um-hmm.
That realm has 2 identities. The first identity is the realm of the spirit. The spirit realm, of course, is invisible to the natural eye. And then the other identity is known as the faith realm. So within the realm of the spirit, the gift of faith is in action. Faith connects us to the power of God.
Yes.
That's what faith does.
Ephesians 3:20 again said that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power. So God, who has limitless power or unlimited power, moves in our lives through the faith that is at work within us. There is nothing that God cannot do but fail.
Amen.
God can do all things. God is not limited in the things that He can perform. I'm convinced that if He could part a sea, Yes. And make a pillar of fire travel over a group of people as they were traveling, then God is limitless. If He could raise the dead and put life and breath and spirit back into a person's body that has ceased to live or ceased to exist, I'm convinced That He can do all things.
Amen.
If He could change me, He could do all things. If He could change you, He could do all things. So, you got to ask yourself, if God is unlimited with His power, but yet there are limitations in terms of manifestations in my life, Where is the disconnect?
Is it on God's end or is it on my end?
My end.
Well, the scripture says that he can do exceeding abundantly above all. So that means that there's no disconnect on his end. But he does it through the power that works within us, which is my faith, which means if there is limitations in what I'm receiving from God, then it must be on my end. And it has to be somewhere within the corridor of my faith.
Uh-huh.
The reason I'm titling this or entitling this the Revelation of Faith is because when we are in motion to receive from God but we're not operating our faith properly, then the reason why is because there is a lack of revelation.
Uh-huh.
There's a lack of understanding. Your faith doesn't just operate by itself. There's a certain strategy, there's a certain system, there's a certain, uh, way that your faith goes into motion. But in order for you to activate your faith, you got to have a certain level of understanding that operates within your mind, and it must be clear and precise to you. You got to know this. You got to understand this. It's not something that you have to figure out. It's something that can only be revealed. And so what God does by the Holy Spirit is that he gives us revelation. And what Paul was praying for, for the church of Ephesus, was revelation concerning the wonder-working power of faith.
Amen.
And it says here, and I read to you again, out of verse 17, he says, my prayer for you is that God would give you the spirit of revelation and the knowledge of him. He added wisdom, but I'm talking about revelation. In other words, God wants to open up your understanding concerning faith.
Yes.
Now, I've discovered this. I've discovered that sometimes we think we know How to do certain things, but don't necessarily know to do them as we think we do. Sometimes we think we have an understanding of certain things. Sometimes we think we have it figured out. But the, the reason faith is one of those components that needs revelation is because faith has different dimensions to it.
Um-hmm.
Faith has different dimensions, and a dimension is, is a space by which magnitude exists. And magnitude means that it is beyond measure. It means that it is great.
Yes.
It fits the profile of Ephesians 3:20 that he's able to do exceeding abundantly.
The reason you need revelation of faith is because there's so much about faith that you do not know.
That's right.
There's so much about faith you cannot comprehend all at once because faith has different dimensions to it. Faith is given to us by a limitless God in a limitless form, which means There is no possible way to ever have too much faith.
Amen.
But it is possible to not have enough.
That's right. Now, not only is it not possible to have too much, but one person could never have it all.
Right. Amen.
Now, let me just share something with you about the limitless power of faith. Just to help to enlighten you on how faith is limitless.
There's a man who lived on the face of this earth who did not die.
That's right. There's another man on the face of— who lived on the face of this earth That is no longer on the face of this earth as the first one that did not die, left this earth but not through death, but through the power of believing, through the power of faith.
The first man is a man by the name of Enoch.
That's right.
The Bible says Enoch walked with God, and then one particular day He just walked right off of the planet.
Wow.
Not into space, not into the grave, not into what scientists call the abyss or the black hole or the galaxy or the Milky Way, but he walked right into heaven.
Faith translated a man from earth into heaven without death, without wings, without a spaceship, Without an airplane, without any kind of flying device.
Then faith for a man by the name of Elijah, the second man, calls for chariots to come down from heaven, angels if you will, and literally picked him up off the ground and took him into heaven.
Right before man's eyes.
Amen.
So when you think about faith and you limit faith to believing and trusting God to pay your bills or to heal your body, and you think that because you've received those kind of manifestations that that is the depths of faith—
faith is like the oceans and the seas out there.
There are some parts of the ocean and parts of the seas that have never ever been explored by man.
Amen.
There are some parts of faith, there are some levels of faith, there are some depths of faith, some dimensions of faith that has never ever been explored by—
there are some things that has never been told concerning what faith has been able to do on the behalf of certain people. Faith has raised men from the dead. Faith has raised little girls from the dead. Faith has fed 5,000 men with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. Faith has caused for a man to step out of his boat and walk on the water.
Faith has caused for a man whose ear got cut off of his body to have his ear placed back on.
No surgery, no sutures, no stitches, just placed on.
That's right.
Faith has caused for blind men to see lepers.
Faith has to be revealed to you. See, when, when you, when you sit in church and faith is being talked about, something in you ought to come alive. Your spirit man ought to come alive. I mean, you ought to be like on the edge of your seat watching a horror film or something.
That has you so into it that you don't even want to blink because you don't want to miss something.
Faith presents to you a Kodak moment, a moment that you could never ever have again, that can never be duplicated. When you are operating in the realm of faith, the best thing that you can do is say, God, give me revelation of how to operate in the realm of faith and how much I can accomplish through faith. Because faith can do for you what your money cannot do for you. Faith can do for you what your degrees and your education cannot do.
Faith can do for you what your fan club cannot do. Faith can do for you what your employer cannot do.
Faith can do for you what the government cannot do.
Faith can do for you what your doctors cannot do.
Paul said, I'm praying that God will give you revelation. Okay, so let's look at some revelations about faith.
Get pen and paper and take notes for the next 15 minutes, if you will, or use your tablet or phone.
The—
one of the revelations of faith is that faith has different dimensions, and I want to give you 6 dimensions of faith. Amen. First dimension of faith is the measure of faith. In Romans 12:3, look at that. Turn to Romans 12:3. And while the video department is putting that scripture up on the screen, Romans 12:3. While the video department is putting that up on the screen, Mark 9:23 says that all things are possible to him that believes. The word believes is another word for operating in the realm of faith. So if all things are possible to him that believes, then that means that nothing is impossible through faith. Do you believe that? Do you believe that? Say, I believe. I believe.
What do you believe?
Come on, talk to me.
I want to hear y'all. What do you believe?
Nothing is impossible.
Say, nothing is impossible.
Nothing is impossible.
When I'm operating in faith.
When I'm operating in faith.
Now if you believe that, you'll be alleviated of a whole lot of stress and pressure over your life. Because when you believe the Word of God and you operate in the realm of faith, stressing and worrying becomes a thing of your past. Even when it comes down to you needing to do something but know that you don't have the resources to accomplish it, you don't stress about it because you have confidence in the fact that it's going to get done one way or the other and God's going to see to it.
Amen.
So nothing is impossible. And if nothing is impossible when you're operating in faith, then faith is limitless. So the Bible says in Romans 12:3 that, I say, through the grace given unto every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think. Which God is saying that just because you received grace, which is an empowerment from God, he says don't let it go to your head.
Alright?
Don't become lifted up with pride. Don't get arrogant. Don't get over-sophisticated.
Amen.
think soberly, which means operate in humility and, and function in a facet where you can con— you can relate to men and women that may not necessarily be operating on that same level of faith that you're operating on.
Amen.
And it goes on to say, according as God has dealt, dealt or distribute to every man The measure of faith. Faith here is described as a measurement, which means that there is a certain amount or impartation or deposit that God has made in your spirit concerning faith.
Yes.
But the thing about faith in the form of a measure is that it is equivalent to a seed, and a seed is something that when it is given or planted It is in a very small form, an embryonic, if you will. It is not fully developed. It is just a seed.
But the moment it is planted, it grows, it grows, it grows, it grows, it grows, it grows, it grows.
It multiplies and it becomes more than what it was when it was a seed, when it was planted.
Amen.
So is your faith. When God dealt to you the measure of faith, the Bible says that faith comes by hearing, which means faith is developed, faith matures, faith grows by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of God over and over and over. If you have a problem with hearing the same thing over and over and over and over, then you are depriving your faith out of the system of growth because faith comes by hearing the same thing over and over and over, the Word of God over and over and over and over and over and over again. Particularly when you get to the point where you think you know enough about faith, you are in error.
Amen.
Because you can't know too much or even enough about something that you've never totally explored. Amen.
That's right.
How can you know too much about something that you've never even experienced the depths of it? It's like to say, I know God. No, you don't know God because there's so much about God that has not yet been revealed.
What you have is a knowledge of God, and you have an acquaintance through His Spirit, but to know Him in totality is something that no man can truthfully, honestly declare because no man has ever seen God and lived to tell it. Does that make sense?
Yes.
Faith comes from God and is given as a gift, and when God gave you faith, he was giving you the ability to believe in the unknown.
Amen.
That's why Paul said that my prayer for you is that God will give you revelation knowledge concerning faith, because faith becomes your acquaintance with God. It introduces you into an invisible, unknown, unlimited God who wants to be known, who wants to be revealed, who who wants to have an acquaintance, who wants to have a relationship with His people.
Amen.
So the discovery that we have with God comes through the revelation of faith because it is faith and His Word that reveals who God is to us. Are you with me?
Amen.
Y'all mighty quiet in here. Can you say amen?
Amen.
Look at your neighbor and tell them, Pastor will give you $5 if you say amen.
Amen.
The second dimension of faith is the gift of faith. Look at 1 Corinthians 12:9. There's the gift of faith. 1 Corinthians 12:9. So the first dimension is the measure, the second one is the gift. This is why you need revelation, because there's so much about faith that you don't know, and you can't possibly carry it all around in your head. You don't even know all the stuff about you yet.
Amen.
How are you going to know everything about God?
How are you going to know everything about faith? You haven't even totally been revealed to yourself.
There's some things you said you would never do, and 5 days later you did it again.
Amen.
The gift of faith. You see right there in 1 Corinthians 12:9, it says, to another given by the Spirit the gift of healing, or faith—
let me look this way—
to another faith by the same Spirit. So Here the Bible is saying that the gift of faith is given to us by the Spirit of God. Who gives us the gift of faith? The Spirit of God.
The Spirit of God.
So when the Spirit of God gives us the gift of faith, He's giving it to you because He recognized the need for it in your life. But He's giving it to you because He knows that you could not acquire it or obtain it any other way. It has to be given to you.
Amen.
Faith is something that you can't purchase from the store. No one can lay hands on you and anoint your head with oil and transfer to you faith. It has to come from God. The Spirit of God has to give you faith, and he gives it to you in the form of a measure, and then he gives it to you secondly in the form of a gift. And a gift is not something that you've earned or worked for. It simply means that the gift giver thought enough about you to find you worthy of their gift.
Amen.
Dimension number 3, 2 Corinthians 4:7.
13.
I've done my homework for you.
2 Corinthians 4:13.
Amen.
Look at the video screen. For we having the same spirit of faith. You see that? So now the apostle is talking about the spirit of faith. Now, in 1 Corinthians 12:9, the word Spirit was capitalized with a capital S, referring to the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God.
Yes.
But now the word spirit is not capitalized. It's all in lowercase letters. And the reason for that is because there is a difference between Capital S Spirit versus lowercase s spirit. There's a difference between the two. Although the word is spelled alike, it's not referring to the same.
Right.
And in 1 Corinthians 12:9, the spirit again refers to the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost. And here the word spirit refers to personality, heart.
Mannerism.
Amen.
Character.
Amen.
Behavior. Attitude. Life. So basically, the Paul— the apostle is saying we have the spirit of faith, which means we have an attitude of faith, a characteristic that we show or exhibit in our daily lives concerning faith. We have this, this persona, this faith persona.
See, you, you, you know when you see somebody who is known as a believer because their whole life exemplifies that they trust and believe God, that they live by faith. Yes, sir. And therefore, you can right then determine that this person has a faith disposition. They live by their faith. They are believers. They trust God with their lives. They trust God for provision. They trust God for healing. They trust God for everything. Amen.
They're known by their faith.
They're not known by their sex. They're not known by their race. They're not known by their social status or their economical status. They're known by their faith. We call them believers. Their faith speaks volumes concerning who they are in Christ.
Amen.
You've ever seen somebody before and they were operating with a certain disposition that wasn't becoming, that wasn't adaptive and acceptable, and in your mind you looked at them and observed their behaviors and just had the thought, or maybe you've heard somebody say before, that that person has a bad spirit. What were you implying, or what was being implied by someone else who was suggesting that that person had a bad spirit. You were— they were suggesting that that person had a bad disposition, bad attitude, that their heart is not right, that there's something about them that is, is not something that you want to embrace and accept.
Yeah.
So you were talking about their personality, their mindset, their mentality, their attitude.
To say they have a bad spirit means that they have a bad mind, bad attitude, or negative disposition. Something that you want to stay away from, something that you would not embrace, something that you don't want to adopt or adapt to.
Right.
So that's the spirit. It is the person's behavior, personality, attitude, mentality. And there is such a thing as a faith spirit or a faith attitude, a faith personality. And you can develop it because any kind of spirit that is not a gift according to 2 Corinthians 12:9, or Romans 12:9 rather, any kind of gift that is not—
any kind of spirit that is not a gift is something that is developed over the years. That's right. Let me say that again. Any kind of spirit that is not a gift from God is something that is developed over the years. It is developed through association.
Yes.
It is developed through information.
Yes.
It is developed through influence.
Yes, that's true. It is, it is developed through involvement.
Uh-huh.
In other words, you can be somebody who have never ever in your life drank alcohol, but if you start hanging out with people that all they do is drink alcohol, Eventually, because you've accepted their behaviors and accepted their companies, if your willpower does not sustain you, eventually you'll find yourself drinking alcohol.
Because association produces simulation or resemblance.
Come on, sir. That's why it is good that if you're going to hang around some people Be selective about who you're going to hang around because whatever they're about is what you're going to become about.
Amen.
So you have to choose who you're going to spend your time around, who's going to be in your circle. That is because you will develop their characteristics or you will develop their spirit.
That's right.
So if you want to develop the spirit of faith, Then you got to get around people who have the spirit of faith, who have an attitude of faith, because it rubs off on you.
That's very true.
You become acquainted with that particular spirit. You become identified with that particular spirit. Having the spirit of faith means that you have an attitude and a persona or personality, and you have a perspective that speaks volumes on what you believe.
I believe God.
And it comes out in your speech, it comes out in your actions, it comes out in how you respond to situations. Okay? So we're talking about the revelation of faith. Now again, the first revelation of faith, or the dimensions of faith as it relates to faith, is that faith is a seed.
Faith is a seed.
Faith is a gift. Second one, faith is a gift. Third one, faith can be developed in terms of a spirit or an attitude or personality. And number 4 is that faith in 2 Peter 2:1 is an association. 2 Peter 2:1, put that on the screen.
And verse 3, or point 3, prepared me for point 4.
2 Peter 2:1.
All right, let me get there because it must be 1 Peter 2:1.
We're talking about—
let me get to 2 Peter.
Here we go.
2 Peter 1:1. 2 Peter 1:1.
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained— and obtained is the key word here. See the word obtained in your Bible?
Uh huh.
Make note of that word obtained.
Draw a line under it.
The word obtained here implies that there is going to be some effort required on your part. And if there's going to be effort, then there must be thought and purpose, which means you must focus on getting to this level. There has to be a certain level of concentration because you don't obtain things by accident.
Amen.
You only obtain certain things on purpose.
To them who have obtained like precious faith with us. This kind of faith I call like precious faith, which is an association, which means that your faith now has not only become something that is known as your spirit of faith, but it has placed you in an elite group of people. Which means that you're— you've mastered this thing to a point where You know now how to not only live by faith, but you can teach it to others. You can instruct others in the way of faith. See, this is the Apostle Peter. He's saying that you have obtained like precious faith with us. With us refers to the disciples and the apostles who Jesus used to establish the church in the earth. Peter, James, John, the Apostle Paul, Matthew, Luke, Bartholomew. And the list goes on, minus Judas who betrayed Jesus. They were considered to be the 12 apostles that were responsible for establishing the foundation of the body of Christ in this, in this earth. They were Jesus' initial disciples, and Jesus communicated with them. Jesus poured into them. Jesus branded himself into them. Jesus spent time with them. Jesus gave them 3 and a half years of his life physically in this earth. And so they became faith pilgrims, faith trailblazers.
But they go on to say that those who have obtained like precious faith, which means have arrived to that level of faith that we're on, now you're in the same class that we're in.
Amen.
You're not, you're not, you're not a novice when it comes down to faith.
You're not a faith amateur. You're someone who understands the mechanics and the dynamics of faith.
And the evidence is in the manifestation of your life. Your prayers are answered. Your bodies are healed.
Amen.
Doors are being opened. Windows of heaven are being opened. Promotion is given. Favor is manifesting in your life.
You ask God for something, you present your faith, and you receive. And now you're in that class of people that the Apostle Peter said are like us. You're one of us.
You're in that realm like us. You use your faith like we do.
You understand faith. It is important to you. It has become the air you breathe.
Amen.
You have faith adrenaline. You have a faith motivation.
And faith is something that is not a spare tire when you need it. Faith is a pair of shoes that you have to wear every time you walk out the door. It's not a spare tire in the trunk. See, the issue with a lot of Christians is that faith to us is not a necessity until it's a necessity.
Amen.
And when you put it off until you need it, then you are failing to develop it. You're failing to get acquainted with it. You're failing to grow in it. And the problem with that is that when you need it, you have to start from the bottom to work your way up so that you can have the faith to accommodate the need that you have for the situation that you're confronted with.
Amen.
And what happens is that when you're under the pressure of dealing with life situations, you're not in a place of thought and concentration and focus where you can really take the time to develop your faith because the urgency for a breakthrough is weighing you down. Depriving you of the opportunity to focus on building your faith.
Amen.
Faith is not a luxury. It is not a medicine kit or a first aid kit. That's where you go wrong, because your mind has been conditioned to think that faith is something that I only need when I need it. But if that were the case, then why would God give you the measure of faith?
Right.
Which is like a seed. that grows? And then why would he give you the gift of faith, which becomes part of you that is supposed to grow with you? And then why would he give you the spirit of faith, which is supposed to engulf you and become part of your personality? And why would he want you to arrive to this level where you're obtaining A certain acquaintance, as he said, the Apostle Peter, with us.
Yes.
Which is to say, you can operate on the same level of faith that Peter did when Peter stepped out of the boat onto the water. I'm not saying go down to the St. John River and jump off the edge and prepare to walk on water.
Amen.
Because there are circumstances that does not require that. But there are times when you need that level of faith. Here's an example. Bishop I.V. Hilliard, he and his family, Bridget, their children, the pilot, and all of them were on an airplane going from one state to another so that he could minister in that city. 30,000 feet in the air, the private jet loses all power.
That's right.
There is about a 25-second grace period where the plane needs to maintain a certain level of altitude, and if it exceeds that grace period, that plane begins to plummet at a very accelerated speed, even to the point that if it falls below that altitude And the engines were to start back up, it would still be too late to keep the plane from crashing.
So when the plane loses all power, all engines shut down, you know how the power goes out in your house sometimes in a storm?
Imagine that in an airplane. Somebody say, oh Jesus.
Oh Jesus.
At a time like that, you got an emergency, you have a crisis, you have an immediate situation. You don't have time to build your faith.
That's right.
You don't have time to pull your Bible out and start feeding your faith. You don't have time to try to come up with scriptures on faith. Either you have it or you don't in that kind of situation. And it's in that situation where you need to have it, and it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Bishop Hilliard has spent all of his life building and developing his faith.
So when he was in a situation that required that level of faith, he was able to operate in it because he spent a long time getting himself ready. And he didn't know that he would need his faith for this reason.
That's right.
Just like you'll never know what you're going to need your faith for.
That's why it behooves you and I to take this time that we have when we're not challenged with the Goliaths and the giants in the land to build our faith and get ourselves ready as David did with the bear and the lion, because one day you will be faced with a giant, and the giant doesn't give you time to do your homework on faith.
That's right.
Jesus.
When the category 5 shows up, it's like the thief in the night. Ready or not, here I come. Real quickly, I'm gonna give you these last 2 and then I'm done. Unity of faith, Ephesians 4:13. And this is number 5, the unity of faith. See that in Ephesians 4:13? Till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, or revelation of the Son of God, unto a perfect or mature man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Meaning Basically, like Uncle Sam said, being all that you could be in Christ. Alright, let me explain that real briefly. The unity in the faith simply refers to people uniting for the purpose of establishing the kingdom. And we know that in this particular world there are different sects and denominations and, and There are different groups of people that believe different things as it relates to God, Christianity, spirituality, the Word of God. You know, we call them doctrines. And what God is saying is that there is the space in the realm of the spirit that has been created for people to come together and unite.
Mm-hmm.
And when we're, when we're divided, then we're known as churches. But when we're united, we know we're known as the church or the body of Christ. And when we come together and unite in the Spirit, we form what is considered as the kingdom of God, which means in the kingdom of God there is nothing impossible. There is nothing Off-limits. There is nothing we cannot do. There is nothing we cannot accomplish. The unity of faith is when you get different pieces of the puzzle and you put it together, or different components to the lock and you put them together and you come up with the key. And when we form together as the— as a unit in Christ, we will destroy the kingdom of darkness.
Amen.
We will drive out of our land the darkness of principalities.
Amen. This is a level in the realm of the spirit that has a parking space for every believer, and we must all arrive to that place where we are no longer divided by anything, but we're united in faith. Say amen to that.
Amen.
And then the last, because I'm out of time, real quickly, the household of faith. Galatians 6:10. Galatians 6:10. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Household of faith refers to, on an elementary basis, local churches. But we know that within local churches, not everybody's on one accord.
Is that right?
Yes.
So within local churches, number 2, the household of faith refers to those people within that church that has come together for the purpose of vision, for the purpose of God's will being established in the earth. This is where the Bible talks about in the book of Matthew chapter 18, you don't have to go there, it says, when 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name.
Right.
There I am in the midst. And whatsoever 2 shall touch and agree on, it shall be done. Agreeing means being on one accord, meaning that we got the same focus and the same purpose in mind. We are moving in the direction of manifesting God's vision for this church, for this ministry, for this community. And this place is, is not something that everyone dwells on. or everyone dwells in because not everybody cares about what God wants in the earth. Everyone who comes to church don't come because they're concerned about God's will being done. Sometimes they have different reasons that draws them out to church.
Amen.
But then there are some who come to church, or there are some who when they pray, or there are some that when they attend Bible study, or there are some that when they read the word, they are trying to gain an understanding and they're trying to gain clarity as to what it is that God wants to do with my life in this world and how is it that I fit into the plan of God as it relates to establishing his vision.
Amen.
These are different dimensions. You don't know this stuff just automatically. You don't see this when you just read the Bible. These are things that have to be pulled out through revelation and broken down through revelation.
These are—
this is information, this is classified information. This is stuff like you just don't get unless it comes from up top.
Amen.
Because you can read the Bible all your life and never see these different dimensions.
Amen.
To help you to gain an understanding that faith is limitless.
Amen.
To help you to gain an understanding that faith will produce the impossible.
Amen.
Yes, it will. See, this is the groundwork, the foundation that gets you to a place where you take the limitations off of your mind because you're limited through a lack of knowledge.
Amen.
But the more you know, the more you'll begin to explore in life.
And faith is an exploration, unexplored. But today, the journey has begun.
You're on your way to a whole new place in the realm of faith.
Say, I receive that in Jesus' name. I receive that in Jesus' name. Close your Bibles, stand to your feet. You've been in faith school today.
Amen.
And as your pastor, it is important to me that faith is important to you.
