Rico Sharp argues that true wealth is spiritual, not material. The love of money chokes the Word of God and breeds pride, while being rich toward God means generosity and humility. He urges listeners to give, sow seeds, and seek God's kingdom first, promising God will provide everything else.
Chapters
And they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? Or why look ye so earnestly on us? As though by our own power of holiness we have made this man to walk. The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus, whom ye delivered up and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you, and killed the Prince of Life, whom God raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses. And his name, through faith in his name, hath made this man Strong, whom ye see and know. Yes, the faith which is in him hath given this man this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Bow your heads. Father, speak to us today through your word, in Jesus' name. Amen. Before you take your seat, look at 3 people and tell them there's something better than money. Something better than money. That's what I want to talk to you today. There's something better than money. There's something better than money. I want to take you on a quick journey. Turn to Luke chapter 12. No, he didn't give us any. Verses 16, just, uh, 13 through 16. Luke 12, going as he go right now, 13 through 16. When you're there, say amen. Amen. And verse 13 says, and one of the company said unto Jesus, Master, speak to my brother that he divide the inheritance with me. In other words, that he'll give me the portion of money that I'm supposed to have, which is our inheritance. Verse 14, and Jesus said unto him, man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? You doing all right, man? And he said unto them, take heed and beware of covetousness, for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possess. In other words, Jesus was saying your life is more important than the money and the things that it can buy. Then look at verse 16. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully. And he brought— and he thought within himself, saying, what shall I do? Because I have no room where to bestow my fruits. Consider this to be his bank account. And he thought. And he said, this will I do. I know what I'll do. I'll tear down the barns that I have and I'll build greater barns, and there I will place and store and bestow all my fruits and all my goods. Verse 19, God speaks to him, says, and I will say— no, he was— he said, I will say to my soul, soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years. Take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee. Then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? In other words, God is saying, you're getting ready to die. What are you going to do with all this wealth you've accumulated? You can't take it with you. Like I've never seen, in all the things I've seen in my 45 years of life, I've never seen a hearse with a U-Haul connected to the back of it taking a man's wealth to the cemetery with him. And if there is such an occasion, well, I know some boys from the hood with all black on waiting for that U-Haul to dump it out and to pull off so that they can dig it up and then they pull off. In other words, it ain't gonna happen. You understand what I'm saying? Just follow me. So God says in verse 21, So is he that layeth up treasure for himself. Let me back up, let me back up. In verse 20, again, God said unto him, thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee. Then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? Notice the point here, thou hast provided. God didn't say he provided, he said the man provided these things for himself. That's a big difference there, and I need to make note of this point for Before I go any further, there's such a thing as we providing for ourselves, and then there's such a thing as God providing for us. There's such a thing as we trying to make ourselves rich, and then there's such a thing as God making us rich. There's such a thing as God blessing us, and then we trying to be a blessing to ourselves. Proverbs 10:22 tells us that the blessing of the Lord It maketh rich and it adds no sorrow with it. But yet we can work 2 or 3 jobs, 40 hours, 50 hours, 60 hours plus, trying to get money and end up getting money and not having peace, not having joy, not having happiness, not having self-contentment. So there has to be something more than the wealth that we can accumulate, that God adds to it when he gives it. Because his word says when he gives it, there's no sorrow associated with it. This man who had wealth that we're reading about right now, he had sorrow associated with his because his final state was he worked all his life to get money, and then when he finally got it It was time for him to leave this world. Right. And check this out. And so verse 21 says, so is he that layeth up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God. So being rich toward God is what it's about. Being rich in this world, having a whole bunch of money, is not what life is about. Being rich toward God is what life is about. See, if I don't say anything else, I said enough for you to take that and go home with and build and restructure if necessary, reposition if necessary, your planning in life, your thoughts, and your life altogether. Because we all know, whether we admit it or not, there's a great portion of our energy and our focus that goes toward accumulating Money. Money. Trying to get more of it, trying to get as much as we can, trying to make sure that we got enough in the bank to live the life we want. Living for success, financial success, when financial success was never placed on God's list of things to do when he purposed us in this world. Oh, y'all can't talk to me right now, but sit there. I'll get to you in a minute. So, so, so now look at, look at Matthew chapter 19, verses 16 through 24. Just want to float around for a minute. Matthew chapter 19. Verses 16 through 24. Matthew 19:16. And behold, one came and said unto Jesus, good Master, what good things shall I do that I may have eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God. But if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments. He said unto them, which commandment? Jesus said, thou shalt do no murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness under thy father and thy mother, and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. The young man said unto him, all these things have I kept from my youth up. So he's boasting a little bit, you know, he's got his swagger on and he knows that, you in his own mind. He's been doing all these things for a long time, and he says to Jesus from a really arrogant posture, what lack I yet? In other words, what have I not done, man? I got it down pat. I got it all together. Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect— which doesn't mean flawless or sinless, it literally means to be complete and entire— if thou wilt be Perfect. Go and sell that thou hast. Because, because he was, he was rich. And Jesus said, now if you really want to walk this thing out the way that I'm walking it out, and if you really want to walk with me, go and sell everything that you have and then give it to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. And come and follow me. So look at verse 22. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful. There's that sorrow. For he had great possessions. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, verily I say unto you that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. When his disciples heard it, they were extremely or exceedingly amazed, saying, who then can be saved? Jesus said, behold— Jesus beheld them and said unto them, with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. So this rich man had a lot of stuff. And Jesus said, but if you want to have spiritual wealth and be rich toward God, then detach your heart from your possessions. Detach your heart from money. Don't let money be your God. Don't let money be your motivation in life. Don't let money be the reason you wake up in the morning and run out the door for 8, 10 hours. Don't let money be your central focus or the center attraction of your life. Don't live for money. Look at Mark 4:19. Mark 4:19. Mark 4:19. This is a parable about the sower sowing seeds, and the Bible talks about how some fell by the wayside, and it gives an itemized breakdown of the seeds that fell by the wayside. And in this breakdown, Jesus talks about one of the things that happened And he gives the reason why this particular seed fell by the wayside and did not produce fruit. And in verse 19, he says it's because the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, which means riches, money, And the heart that goes after it embarks upon a deceitful journey. Solomon talked about money before, and he said that money is like something that grows wings and it flies away, which literally means you can work hard to get it And try all you can to save it and put it up and lock it up and seal it up and tie it up and bank it up. And then the moment you think it's there forever, the next thing you know, something comes up, and now what you've worked hard to accumulate and save has grown wings and flew away, and you're left scratching your head trying to figure out Where did that money go? Am I am I talking to anybody in here yet? So there's a deceitfulness of riches, and then he goes on to say, "In the lust of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful." Notice now that the deceitfulness of riches, which is having to do with money, is in the same. verse that he talks about the Word, which means that in many people's life, they value money above the Word of God. Right. I'm talking to the church. There's a greater value on money than the Word. And one way to know that there is, and to just simply solidify that, Is anytime a person refused to pay their tithe, which is what the word says to do because they'd rather hold on to the money, then that proves the deceitfulness of riches exists in their life, and they would rather have money than the word. Failing to realize that having money over the word means you don't have money. Money have you. Oh, this is gonna be real good. So look real quickly in 1 Timothy chapter 6, verses 17 through 19. 1 Timothy 6:17 through 19. Oh, there's a reason why I'm here. There's a reason why we're in this earth. And it's not to have all the money we can get, I can tell you that much. 1 Timothy 6:17, look at what James— Paul rather had to say about money. James talks about it too, but I'll go here. 1 Timothy 6:17, charge them that are rich in this world that they be not high-minded. One of the things that is associated with having a lot of money is Pride. Pride. A lot of times you see people who have a lot of money, they won't even speak to you or give you the time of day. Amen. Because money puffs people's ego, swells the ego up, make them think that they are higher and better. Not for everybody, but for some people. When you find somebody who has money and can still have humility, They have the Spirit of God in their life. Amen. But when you find someone who has money, they live in a nice house, gated community, drive a nice car, wear nice clothing, shop, travel, do all the things they want to do, don't have money problems, they don't have problem paying their bills, they, they do all they want. A lot of times they are puffed up and arrogant. It is a false success. Are y'all hearing me so far? Right. So there's a time where God is saying those who have money, who are rich and wealthy, tell them don't let their money go to their head. Charge them not to be high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches. So he calls money Uncertain riches. And the reason why is because you can have plenty of it today and 24 hours later have none of it tomorrow. Right. Here's, here's a state of wisdom. I have been up and I have been down. I have had a lot of money and I have had no money. And I have learned that neither state of living is too far for anyone to experience. There's been a time in my life where I had so much money that I didn't know what to do with it. Then there's been a time in my life where I didn't have any money with a whole lot of things to do with it. And it's just like turning on a light switch. You can flip the switch and go from being broke to having wealth, and then you can flip that same switch again and go from having wealth to needing subsidy from the government. And nobody is exempt from any experience. So he says, tell them, don't trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God. Trust in who? In the living God. In the living God who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Verse 18, that— and that they do good, which means God says, if you have money, I give you money so you can do some good things with it. Oh, y'all ain't listening to me. He said, I give you money so that you can do some good things with it. Doing good things with money is more than buying what you want for yourself. See, there's 2 things that we don't really talk about too much in the church nowadays, and that's money and and sex. And yet these are the 2 things that's destroying the integrity of the church. So God says, when I give you money, don't be high-minded, don't get arrogant, don't act like you're all that and a bag of chips where you can't even talk to the people. Before, you used to get a ride to work. Now that you got money, you got 2 new cars in your garage, you see people walking and you can't pick them up because you don't want nobody in your new car. That's right. He says don't get arrogant, don't get puffed up, don't get high-minded, don't trust in it because it's not going to always be there like you suppose. And then he says do good works, be ready to distribute, which means when he gives you money, he wants you to be a giver. He gives you money so you can be a blessing. He gives you money so that you can be a blessing. He gives you money so that you can do what? Be a blessing. So, so he wants you to be willing to distribute. Come here, minister peoples. Come here, hurry up. Gotta hurry up now before I change my mind. There you go. That's yours. Bless you. Popeye's Chicken is next door. Right? Oh, you got something else to do. He says be willing to distribute, be willing to communicate. The word communicate has nothing to do with talking, which he's saying— I'm not saying that when I give you money, I want you to sit down and talk about giving it to somebody else. The word communicate means to give to someone else. It means to do what now? Distribute. It means to give to someone else. Then he says in verse 19, laying up in store for themselves a good foundation. So this is what God is saying. I want you to focus on— I want you to focus on that when you give money, you are laying up in store a good foundation against the time to come. So in other words, God is saying sometimes your money won't always be there, like you think it will, but when you're rich toward me, I'll make sure that when you have a need, you'll always have what you need because you proved in life that money was not your god. I am your God. Amen. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. And that they may lay hold on eternal life. Now, Let's go back to our original text. All I need is about 10 more minutes, and I should be able to wrap this up. Go back to Acts 3. Go back to Acts 3. So the Bible talks about Peter and John, which were men of God in the temple, and. They were out for a prayer meeting. Come here, Daniel. Come get this right here. They were out for a prayer meeting, and while they were in the temple praying, here comes this man who says, "I need some money." Yeah, he's. There you go, Daniel. Yes, I do. All right, all right, got it. There you go. Daniel said, yes, I do. You bless your son. Love you. And this man has a need, and this man is lame. He's crippled. He can't walk. And if you can't walk, you can't work. You, you don't— you can't hold a job. You don't have an occupation. Because to have an occupation means you got to be able to occupy, which means to do business. And he doesn't have an occupation because he can't occupy. He can't do business because he doesn't have the extremity of his faculties in order to be hired by someone who can compensate him for his occupation. He comes to the church Because somehow he has heard that if you go to church, the folk in church, they are filled with God, they will help you. Yeah. Because people know God to be a giver or a giving God. And when you have the Spirit of God in you, then you are a giving person. You can't be filled with the Spirit of God and be stingy because those characteristics do not line up with the DNA of God's Spirit. Being stingy, and self-centered and selfish. It's not part of the makeup of God's DNA, spiritual DNA. That's right. And so when he comes to Peter and John, he's, he's asking them for alms. In other words, he's saying, will you please look at my condition, notice my situation, recognize my disability, and then have some kind of compassion for the state that I am in. Right. Well, Peter and John had then already paid their tithes and offerings in the last service, and this particular service they didn't have any money to give. And I have to interject that because tithes and offerings was established back then during their time as well. And it's not that they didn't give tithes and offerings or they didn't have money when they went to church. They had it. But they hadn't already distributed as they were supposed to. And another thing, they went to church every day, not just on Sundays. So every day going to church means generally you're going to go sometimes and you don't have any offering to give to the church. And so they're there in the presence of this man. This man has a need. He thinks his need is money. Yes. They look at him and say, we recognize your need, but your need is not money. See, money is a handout. That's not your need. Your need is a hand up, which means you need a move of God in your life. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10 and 11 that money answereth all things. Which means money can buy houses, and the finest of them can build it from the ground up. Money can build skyscrapers for corporate America. Money could buy Reeboks, Tommy Hilfiger, FUBU. Money can buy internet services. Money can buy nice steaks, T-bone steaks, ribeye steaks. Money could buy you the best food that there is. Money can buy you attention and fame and recognition and publicity. Money can buy all of the nice automobiles that is manufactured in this country and out of this country. Money can put you in a Volkswagen, a Rolls-Royce, a Mercedes-Benz, a BMW, a Jaguar, a Maybach. That's right. Money can put you in anything that you want to be in in terms of Your driving, uh, needs and your clothing needs. Money can buy you silver, diamond, gold, platinum, 10-karat, 14-karat, 22-karat, and the purest of them all, 24-karat. Money can buy you friends. People will carry your bags when you have money. People will answer your phone. People will bring your dinner to you. People will be your armor bearer, your cup bearer. People will go and pay your bills for you. Amen. People will like you. People will serve you. People will praise you. There are some folk that would even worship you if the dollar is right. Money answereth all things. Money can buy medicine. Money can't buy love, but money can buy sex. That's right. Money can't buy happiness, but money can buy happening. Money can make things happen for you. And the world have discovered that the more money you get, the more stuff you can have to accumulate for yourself. But there are some things that money cannot buy. Amen. Number 1, money can't buy you a ticket to heaven. Amen. Number 2, money can't buy you internal happiness. Number 3, money can't save your life. Amen. Number 4, money can't please God within the relationship that you have with God. That's right. And number 5, money has nothing to do with the power of God manifesting when it needs to manifest. Amen. There is something that is so much more wealthier than having a bank account filled with money. And that is the anointing of the Holy Spirit that destroys the yoke of the devil that Satan puts in people's life. And so when this man comes to the disciples and the apostles and say, I have a need, give me money, take up an offering for me, he— the man of God looks at him and say, your need, sir, is greater than money. See, here's the thing about it. If we give you money, then all we do is medicate your situation. You can go out and you can buy chicken, you can buy hot dogs, you can buy cornflakes, you can buy milk, you can have cereal, you can enjoy— you can, you can, you can pay your bills, but you're still crippled. That's right. You're still lamed. You're still stuck. You're still in your situation, and eventually this money is going to run out. But you're going to still be in the same circumstance. You're going to still be in the same situation. For those of you who think that more money is the answer to your prayers, you are mistaken. It is not more money. It is more of His anointing. It is more of His power. It is more of His presence. It is more of His glory. It is more of a relationship with Him. It is more of God and less of you that we need. Amen. They said, silver and gold have we none, but such as we have, we'll give it to you. He wanted money, but he needed God. And is it possible that we could be Christians who have the name of Jesus on our life And could wake up in the morning focusing on how to get more money instead of focusing on how to get more God. Amen. Oh, everybody like nice things and more of them, but there's a time where a nice God takes precedence in your life over nice things. I've learned God doesn't mind you having things. God minds things having you. Which is why he said in Matthew 6:33, if you seek the kingdom first, put me first and my righteousness, what my purpose is for your life, then I give you all of these things that you desire. 1 Timothy 6:10 tells us that the love of money is the root of all evil. Now money in itself is not evil. Right. It's not that money is the root of all evil. And I hear people all the time misquoting that truth. Money in itself is not evil or good. It's not right or wrong. Money in itself— this is just paper. It has no particular mind of its own. It can't will to do good. It can't will to do evil. It is not good or evil in itself. It is the hands that it falls into. That's right. That it become then used for good and used for evil. But the Bible says the love of money. So when a person loves money, they will lie for money, they would kill for money, they would steal for money, they will trespass for money, they will break into banks, rob banks, rob people, murder for money. Work 2 and 3 jobs. For money, work themselves into the grave twenty years before their time to get more money. Steal and rob God for money. Hold it to themselves and be so stringent to the world, to God, and to themselves that they could need things and won't buy it. To need more clothing. And won't buy clothing popping off like water pops out of a frying pan of hot grease because they're too big for those clothing, but don't want to pay $25 for something with a little more room because that $25 got to come out of my savings account and I'm trying to save. Amen. Tires bald on your car, don't want to put new tires on the car, rather jeopardize the risk. I don't know who I'm talking to. Rather jeopardize the risk of a fatal car accident than to put some tires on your car that has tread that can stop in the rain or all of a sudden. Teeth need fixing up in your mouth. Hair nappy, need a new perm. Praise God. I ain't planning to say none of this, huh? But want to hold on to it, refusing to share it. Seeing somebody in need, the Holy Spirit, God speaking to your heart and saying, bless this brother, sow into that sister's life. And knowing that that's God telling you to do it, but refusing to do it because if I got to part with this right here, then it means it's gonna be more for them and less for me. Money. I need this. I can't give this up. You know what I've discovered? I've discovered something as a principle of the Word that I live by. When what I have in my hand is not enough to meet my need, Then what I have in my hand is enough to be my seed. I can sow a seed and God can use that seed to meet my need. Come here, Phyllis. Come here. I know you didn't think you were gonna get called. Come here, brother. Hello. Now I'm gonna be honest with you. When I brought this money up here, I didn't plan on sowing it. That's yours. I didn't plan on sowing it. That was not my intention. And I'm not under pressure to do it because I can easily put it right back in my pocket just like I took it out and feel nothing. Good or bad? Nothing. There is something better than money. And, and this message is important because there's a shift that has begun to take place in the kingdom of God. And the shift is that the money of this world is being used as an enticement by Satan to lure people out of their place in God to have more of it. You know what? And I can speak because I've had plenty of money over the years of my life. Money doesn't make you important. No, it doesn't. Doesn't make you important. Doesn't make you big. It doesn't make you special. It doesn't change who you are. I've heard somebody say before, Uh, in terms of winning the lotto or the Powerball, that having a lot of money doesn't change your life, it changes the way you live your life. And I recognize that there's a portion of truth or facts in that statement, but then there's a portion of deception. Now, yeah, it changes the way you live your life because when people get money, just like athletes and and rappers and, and celebrities, the first thing they do is go and buy the things they always wanted but could never have. But the thing about it is that whoever you are on the inside as a person, all money does for you is reveal who you are. That's right. That's what it does. It gives you the opportunity to become empowered to do the things that you've always desired in your heart. And the deception about that is that not all desires are good desires. That's why you can see money being thrown around in strip clubs. Those same people who will go to the strip clubs and throw money around always wanted to do it but didn't have the money to throw around. Now that they got the money to throw around, they go straight to the strip club and throw it around. You understand what I'm saying? The young girl over in I believe it's North Carolina that won that big Powerball, the young black girl, a year or so ago for $400 and some million dollars, has a boyfriend who's a gang leader and is heavily involved in drugs, who had been long before she won that money. Right. When she won the money and began to share it with him, instead of him coming out of the gang and getting away from the drugs, he uses a portion of her money to buy more drugs. $450 million. And then gets arrested, and she takes million-plus dollars cash and go and bail them out of jail. Money to him gave him the power to do more of what he was already about. That's right. It didn't change his life. It empowered him to be more forceful in it. See, sometimes Our desire to God is, Lord, make me rich. And God looks at you and say, I want to, I can, I'm willing to, I'm able, but right now there are some things that you have in your heart that if I give you money more than you can handle, then it's going to corrupt a certain part of your life. Like if you got a little money right now and can't come to church faithfully, when you get a whole lot of money, that finger goes up, which means excuse me, time for me to jet. What am I saying? When God looks at our heart. He knows some things about our heart that we don't necessarily know ourselves, but money is like the fingerprint dust that an investigator uses to make what is invisible— referring to a fingerprint— to become visible. In other words, when a robber burglarizes someone's home, they leave fingerprints around the entry point. And those fingerprints are there, but they're not visible to the natural eye. But they have a dust that they use, and they spread over the area that the entry was made, and they brush it until they get a pattern called the fingerprint. Then they take a special tape and they lift that fingerprint off, and that's how they're able to track down who it was that made that unlawful entry. Well, money is just like that, because there are some desires of our heart, there are some things in our heart that aren't all that godly, that we have that lives dormant on the inside, that doesn't manifest until we have the money to do the things we desire. Amen. And when that money shows up, it gives us the empowerment to then take the money and do the things that we've always desired to do. And for this young man, It was to become more forceful in the gang of criminal activity. Where is your heart today? As I close, this young man at the temple thought that if I could just get more money, it would answer my prayers. And the apostle says, no, if you can get more of God's presence, then it will answer your needs. Amen. Not your greed. He wanted money. God says you need the anointing. Are you struggling today between the love of God and the love of money? Or are you in a place today where you can pass what I call the money test? Which means, God, it doesn't matter how much money I have and how much money I do not have. I recognize you to be the provider of my life. Amen. And I'm not gonna sell my soul to the enemy. I'm not gonna sell myself cheap. I'm not gonna let a man feel on my behind for $50. I'm not gonna let somebody move in my house and live with me because they wanna pay my bills. I'm not gonna go out into the store and give what is supposed to be the kingdom of God into the kingdom of darkness trying to get rich through lotto and then come to church and have nothing to give because the 7-Eleven got my last $40 through the scratch-off. Look at your neighbor and say, I'm gonna scratch you off. I'm gonna scratch you off. See, I really wanted to just bring this enlightenment to your attention because I sense— I can see people moving in the direction of spending their time on this earth for financial success. And yet your purpose in life is so much more valuable than having more money. What are you gonna do when you get that big house? What are you gonna do when you're driving down the street in that Mercedes-Benz? Does that make you more saved? Does it make you more righteous? Does it bring you closer to This is my heart speaking. I'd rather have to catch a city bus and stand in a line waiting for the bus to come if I have to serve and worship the car that I drive. Amen. Well, Pastor, I got bills to pay. That's the problem. You got bills, but when I read in the Word, God said, I shall supply all your need, which means they can't be my bills if I'm looking for him to meet my needs. I have to put them in his hand and say, God, it's that time of the month again. Here's your bills. I release my faith. I stand in agreement, and I do the things that you require of me so that I can have the meeting of my needs. In Jesus' name, amen. Now I'm going to bed. I'd rather have no money than to validate the love of money by living to get money when the purpose in my life is about living to get God. Does God want us to be broke? No. Does he want us to be poor? No. Does he want us to not be able to afford a good life? No. He wants you to have all things. The scripture we read said that God gives us richly all things to enjoy. He wants you to be blessed. He wants you to prosper. He wants you to have money. He wants you to travel. He wants you to buy that house, live in that gated community, drive that Mercedes-Benz. Whatever it is you, you, you want, he wants you to have it. But he don't want you to put it before him. He don't want you to be dishonest. He don't want you to lack integrity. He don't want you to live for a dollar or for a paycheck. He doesn't want for you to You live as if you've lost your focus on him because of your focus on money. And the way you get more money from God is to give more money away to people. The way you receive is by giving. The way you save is by seeding. The world says if you want more money, lie, steal, cheat, rob, kill, work 2 or 3 jobs, steal, hold back the tithe. Don't release it. Ball it up and hold on to it and keep every dime you find. God says the way you get it is by taking it and sowing it into someone's life. Come here, Anitra. Oh, you ought to clap your hands for her. There you go, baby. God bless you. Amen. Stand to your feet. I'm done. I'm done.
