Stop making excuses!

You have excuses in your life and your excuses is, I can't do that, I can't have that, I can't go there. And, and that's, that's an excuse because it is a self-inhibited lie. It is a self-manufactured lie. It is a lie that you tell yourself. Doesn't mean you can't do it, it simply means you told yourself you can't do it. The man told himself he can't stretch his hand. I can't do that. We lie to ourselves because we want to stay in our comfort zone. We lie to ourselves and we tell ourselves what we can't do because we don't like challenges. We don't want to be pushed beyond our comfort zone. So Jesus comes and tells the man, stretch your hand, man. You've been telling yourself all this time that you can't do it, and it's not that you can't do it, you just haven't been challenged to do it. Yeah. You haven't done it because you haven't had the demand on your life to do it. So what does Jesus do? He said to the man, stretch forth your hand. Jesus didn't touch him. Jesus didn't spit in the clay and put it on him like he did with the man with the blind eyes. Jesus didn't get in the oil and pour it on the man's hand. Jesus didn't perform a surgery. The man didn't go to the hospital. Jesus didn't grab him by the hand and pull his arm. What Jesus told the man to do is, you do it yourself. Right, right. Stretch your hand. Stop making excuses for your life and stretch your hand. Stop making excuses of why you haven't started your business and stretch your hand. Stop making excuses about why you can't remarry and stretch your hand. Stop making excuses about why you can't get a job and stretch your hand. Stop making excuses about why you're unhappy and stretch your hand. Stop making excuses about why people won't befriend you and stretch your hand. Stop saying what you can't do. Can't do. Because you can do it if you make up in your mind that this is what I'm going to do with my life.
