I've got some great news for you. Money is not your money problem. Money is not my money problem. Money is not your money problem. If you have money problems, you don't have money problems because of money. You have money problems because of something else. And I'm going to show you what those something elses are. In this video entitled Mind over money Mastery, we've all heard mind over matter. Mind over matter. Mind over matter. Most people who say mind over matter probably don't know what it means. But today I want to talk to you about mind over money mastery. Because when you master your mind, your mind can master your money. So you've all heard me talk about the four levels of value before, and I'm going to draw them on the board, the four levels of value, so you can see them. Larry, you want to change? There we go. Okay, so the four levels of value that exist in the world, by the way, this has existed since the beginning of time. I didn't invent it, I just discovered it. And if you don't really get like, if you want to make more money, most people think the way to make more money is to work harder. Well, working harder on the wrong thing will not make you more money, it will just make you more tired. Working harder on the right thing could make you more money. If a lack of effort is the thing that's missing on the thing you're working on. But most people say, well, you just need to give them more value. More value. I want to over deliver. I want to over deliver. Most people, what they call over delivering is actually overwhelming. And what they do is they put a whole bunch of minutia in their solutions so that you don't know which part to focus on and so that you become over. I'm going to make a statement. I believe, whether subconsciously or consciously, that a lot of the coaching programs, courses and books out there are, are intentionally, either unconsciously or consciously designed to overwhelm people so they won't be able to blame the creator if it didn't work. That's what I believe. I don't consciously or unconsciously, because what if every coach had to apply the scientific method? What if every coach had to do double blind studies on all the stuff they teach to make sure it didn't just work for them, but it could work for everybody. So what are the four levels of value? The lowest level of value is implementation. And on this level of value, you use your muscles over time to make money. Now, if it's true, and I believe it is that wealth is spiritual and creating wealth is a spiritual result. Creating wealth is a spiritual activity and having wealth is a spiritual outcome. If wealth is a spiritual outcome, then it has to be created in a higher spirit on a higher spiritual plane. So muscles, are they physical or spiritual? They're physical. Time, is it limited or unlimited? Time is limited. So we have a limit. We have a limited physical resource. We have a limited resource of time. So we have. We're using a limited resource or a physical resource times a limited resource, and we're desiring to produce an unlimited result. It can't happen unless we apply some other principles. So if you're working down here in the implementation phase, you're going to be making somewhere between minimum wage and what, 40,000 a year? We'll call it 80,000. Maybe you're a mechanic, Rolls Royce of Orlando or something. Okay, cool. So minimum wage and $80,000. Now, if you want to move up to work at a higher level, the second level is your, is. Is implementation. And on the implementation level, you use your management skills to make money. So you're no longer down here, you're the person doing the thing. Up here, you're the person. And I, I said, I, I said implementation. I meant unification. This should be. I got all excited. So sometimes when you get to talking really, really fast, you forget what you're talking about. Okay, so on this level, it's unification. And on the unification level. There we go. Use your management skills to make money. You're no longer the person doing the thing. You're the person who's managing the people doing the thing. And so because you're managing the people, you're actually getting a multiplied output from your singular input. That's called leverage. So you're gonna make more money. How much money are you gonna make? Well, this person right here at minimum wage might be flipping tacos at Taco Bell. So you might be a manager at Taco Bell. You're not gonna make minimum wage. You're gonna make $40,000 a year. And if you're a middle manager at Lockheed Martin or Boeing or somewhere, you might make a quarter of a million dollars a year, but it's still a ceiling, it's still limited. And when you're making $250,000 a year working for a company, they want you to know that they know they own you. How many are picking up what I'm putting down? And so they don't care about your kid's game, they don't care about the recital, they don't Care about what you miss. They want you at work when they want you at work. Okay, so then if you want to break through to where wealth is created, wealth is created above this line. And this is communication. This is a communication level. And on the communication level, the resource you use is your mouth. Now, you have to have a mouth and you have to learn how to use it. Well, most people have a mouth, but most people also have not learned how to use it. Now, when I say learn how to use your mouth, I'm talking about use your mouth to create messages that move masses. Use your mouth to have conversations that create cash flow. You have to use your mouth to educate the uneducated. You have to use your mouth to entertain the board. You have to use your mouth to enlighten the unenlightened. Well, when you learn how to use your mouth that way. And so when you learn how to use your mouth that way, then $100 million a year or more, if you're an A list actor or an A list singer. Cool. So you're using your mouth to make money. And then the highest level of value is imagination. Imagination. Imagination. And on this level, you use your mind to make money. Okay, cool. Well, on this level, you're gonna make somewhere between. On the low end, you'll make a million dollars a year. And on the high end, it could be billions. Nowadays it could be trillions, Right? Look at Elon Musk. Right? So billions. So we have to learn how to operate on a higher spiritual plane. And that's what I want to talk to you about today in this concept of mind over money mastery. See, if you're making all of your money down here. Now, all of us, all of us operate at some level on all these planes. But if the majority of the work you do, let's say 80% of what you do down is down here, and maybe another 5% is here. Let's call it 10%. 10% is here, and then 5% is here, and then 5 percent is here. Well, then you're going to be on the struggle bus. So what do you do? You flip the script. You figure out a way to make most of your money up here. Do the 80% stuff here and make this 10 and then this 5, and then this 5. Because all of us have to implement, all of us have to manage people to some degree, and all of us have to communicate and all of us have to come up with ideas. But the quality of your life or the quality of your, your income, the level of your income is going to be mostly determined by the thoughts you have in your mind. And when I say thoughts you have in your mind. Have you ever thought about what it means to think? What is thinking? Like, what does it mean to use your mind? People tell you, well, think about it. Everybody tells you to think about it. Nobody tells you how to think about it. Well, what is thinking about it? Thinking about it is asking yourselves questions and then finding the answer or figuring out the answer. That's what thinking is. Thinking is. Ask myself a question. Well, I wonder what's wrong with the car. Okay. And then wonder what I can do about it. Who can show me? Or I wonder how music is made. Oh, I wonder how to play the guitar. I wonder how. Like, how do they make music come out of this guitar with only six strings on it? Right. And so how do they memorize all the notes on the keyboard of a piano? And you ask yourself a question, and then you either figure out the answer or you find the answer, and then you focus on learning what you just found out about. That's what it means to think. But most people don't think. They just think. They think. Most people go around regurgitating slogans and acting as if they know they're true just because they believe they're true. Okay, cool. So what we want to do is we want to put our mind. We want to put our mind in control of our money. We don't want to put. We don't want our emotions to be in control of our money. We don't want the things that we are able to do, our skill sets with, the things that we can do with our hands. We don't want that in control of our money. Like, we have to think about. Now, for most people, thinking about money is really painful. Josh, can you cool it off in here for me? Because I'm hot. Okay, cool. So I'm going to give you a methodology for making better financial decisions. Because I'm going to tell you something. If you make emotional decisions around money, you will be broke. Did I say that too fast? If you make your financial decisions based on emotions, you will be broke. Because here's what I found out. As an entrepreneur, sometimes I don't feel like working. So guess what? I do. I work anyway. Sometimes I feel like I've got the greatest idea in the world and I want to abandon everything and just run after this great idea. That's a terrible thing to do, man. I just saw this thing. I really want to buy it, but if I buy it, I won't be Able to pay my employees on Friday. Terrible idea. You can't make decisions. You can't make money decisions based on emotions and get rich. I mean, you can make decision money decisions based on emotion, but you can't get rich. So you have to learn how to use your mind. So what do you use your mind to do? This is where the wealth is created. You must learn true perceptions or learn to perceive the truth. You have to learn true perceptions. You don't see things the way they are. You see things the way you are. Did I say that, too? I'm gonna say that again. You don't see things the way they are. You see things the way you are. And what's really fascinating is, like, this is a. This is a scientific fact. This is how the algorithm knows what to feed you on social media. They feed you things you already like, already believe, already think. Perfect example. If you are like a liberal Democrat, they're gonna show you all the good stuff they can find about liberal Democratic politics. If you're a conservative Republican, they're gonna show you all the conservative Republican stuff. If you like country music, they're not gonna show you Beyonce and Michael Jackson. If you like pop music, they're not gonna show you Travis Tritt and Clint Black. They're gonna show you the stuff that you've already demonstrated you like. Well, guess what? Like, we have this thing in our mind called a retic. People call it reticular activation, but it's actually reticular actuation. And what happens is we notice things that we're aware of, and we don't notice things that we're not aware of. So you get a new car, right? You never, like, you saw this car, you're like, oh, this is a really cool car, but you didn't really see them that often, so you thought they weren't that common until you got one. It seems like the day after you got your new car, like, most of the people in town went out and got the same car. Like, why are they copying me? They're not copying you. You've just become more aware of it. And so you have to learn how to use your mind to learn true perceptions. And because most people were miseducated in the miseducational, misdirectional system, most people don't like to do what they think learning is. But that's not actually what learning is anyway. So most people don't want to read because. Dame Carr, like, why are they copying me? They're not copying you. You've just Become more aware of it. And so you have to learn how to use your mind to learn true perceptions. And because most people were miseducated in the miseducational misdirectional system, most people don't like to do what they think learning is. But that's not actually what learning is anyway. So most people don't want to read because they were forced to read stuff that wasn't interesting. So they think reading is boring. How many are tracking right? They learned math backwards in the American miseducational misdirectional system. And so they think math is hard because the system intentionally, in my opinion, taught them math backwards so that they wouldn't want to think about numbers. And if you don't want to think about numbers, then you won't want to think about numbers when it comes to your money. So when you become an adult, it's easier for the system to take your money. There's an ethnic group that is categorically and historically better at math than every other ethnic group. Who am I talking about? Asians. Everybody said Asians. Right. And so what people who don't understand reality like to do well? That's because they have an extra math gene. No, no, no, no. People say stuff like that. No, they don't have an extra math gene in Asia. They just don't teach math backwards. What do I mean if you learned, if you would have learned addition from left to right. We learned to read from right to left. What? We learned math from right to left. Do you ever think about that? Never thought about that until now. Okay, watch this. Take some money out of my pocket. Okay, so I got some twenties, I got a ten, I got a five, I got a five. I got some fives, I got some ones. Oh, this is perfect. This is perfect for this illustration. If I am going to count this money, if I am going to count this money, I got one one hundred dollar bill in here. A couple of twenties, some tens, some fives and some ones. If I'm counting this money, what do I count first? I count the hundreds. Do I count the big ones first or the last ones? The small ones first, the big ones. So when I'm counting money, I count the big ones first. And all I'm doing when I'm counting money is what I'm adding it up to see how much I have right? I'm adding it up and I'm adding it up in my head. I don't need to carry anything. I don't get confused. I don't know, what do I carry? Right. Okay, so I'm gonna go over here to my board and I'm gonna teach you. By the way, addition is the foundation of mathematics. If you're not good at adding, you won't be good at subtracting. If you're not good at adding, you won't be good at multiplication. If you're not good at adding, you won't be good at division, you won't be good at percentages. But if you're good at addition like the rest of math is at least 10 times easier. But if you're not good at adding, then the rest of math is going to be at least 10 times harder. I believe this is intentionally taught the wrong way. So let me go over here to the board. I'm going to show you what I mean. So just somebody in the room shout out a four digit number. 1,000. 1,000. That was really easy. Okay, give me another one. Four digit number, somebody else. 4,682. 4,682. Give me 82. Give me one more. Somebody just start. Y' all do know, y'. All. Okay, there's only nine digits and a zero. Somebody give me something. Okay, go ahead. 226. Okay, now here's what we learned. We add this up. Two plus six is eight, and then eight plus two is 10. You carry the one. Right? But when we're counting our money, that's not how we count it. We count the big numbers first. So we know this is the thousands column. This is the hundreds column. This is the tens column. That's the ones column. So everything in this column is 1000. Everything in this column is 100. Everything in this column is tens. Everything in this column is times one. Okay, so 1,000 plus 4,000 is 5,000. Everybody's good so far. 5,000 plus 5,000 plus 4 plus 5,000 is what? 10,000. Okay, so let's call that. Let's just do 10,000. And I'm going to do this the simple way, right? So it's 10,000. Okay, so then we got 60. I mean 600 plus 200 is how much. 800. We got 80 plus 20 is what? Kataka miya. 100. We got 6 plus 2 is what? 8. So 10,900. 8. 900. Oops, I put it in the wrong place. 10,908. Let me do that over. Got my stuff out of alignment. Boom. This is. Oh yeah. 10,009. 900, 908. The eight goes right here. Okay, so now I didn't remember how to use my board. Okay. 10,908. So the number is 10,908. Now, how many of you on YouTube and in this room, that's the first time in your life you've ever added something together, right to left, left to right, right. Did you see how much easier it was, by the way? You can do it in your head just as easily. Even if I said. Even if I didn't write them down on the bottom. Watch this. If I didn't write them down on the bottom. 1,000 plus 4,000. How much? 5,000 plus 5,000 is 10,000. 10,600. 10,800. 10,880. 10,900. 10,902. 10,908. Without adding. Without writing anything down. I just did it in my head. Why? Because I started. See, in Asia, when they learn math, they use an abacus, and you learn how to count the big numbers first when you're adding stuff together. My point is. My point is most people don't know how to use their mind because we've never been taught. In fact, in America, we've been dumbed down so much that we believe up is down, down is up, right is left, left is right. And we have people arguing for all kinds of ridiculous things under the guise of equality when it's just ridiculousness. So learn true perceptions. Learn to perceive truth in your mind and then love truthful love, truthful, truthful perspectives. Stop taking that which you love and attempting to make it truth and just find what's truth and fall in love with it. When you do that, your mind can be in control. Do you understand? You are creat. There's a reason your head is on top. Okay, let me teach you something really cool. Did you know that in Hebrew culture they teach that when you lower your head to your food? That's what animals do, because animals put physicality first. They're just primarily physical beings. I mean, they're not spiritual beings. Right? And so the word for an animal or a beast is bahe ma in. It is what it is. Right? So. But the word for man is Adam, Aleph, Daled mem. Aleph represents God. Daled mem represents the blood. The life of the flesh is in the blood. So we are a godlike creation. Creation with flesh and blood. Okay? But the Aleph is supposed to be at the top. So why do we eat our food with utensils? The reason we eat our food with utensils is we are demonstrating every time we eat food that this part of us supports, works for, and worships this part of us. But if this part of us starts worshiping this part of us, we are on a path of destruction when this is in control. So it's literally like cutting your food, lifting your food to your mouth with utensils is a picture of the body giving the offering to the head. And so you have to learn to love truthful perspectives. You have to fall in love with truth instead of attempting to make true that what you love. And then you leverage tried and true priorities. What does that mean? You make your priorities based on your perception of truth from a perspective of truth. You don't make your financial decisions. You prioritize your financial decisions based on truth. So, for instance, I fly private. I can afford to buy a jet. I mean, I'd love to have a jet. I just don't fly enough. It doesn't make sense. So that would be. I would have my priorities out of order if I did that right. So, for instance, I have a team of about 15 people. And all of that, the people on my team are all valuable. They all serve a valuable function in the team. However, when it comes to the work that they do. See, I don't like when employers are looking at hiring people. We think about, how much money is this person going to make us for the company? When people get a job, they're focused on how much is this job going to pay me. Are y' all tracking. When the employee gets their vision in line with the employer, not just for my organization, but all organizations, then generally they will make more money because they will be focused on things that make the company money, which makes them more valuable to the company. Okay, So I started the company, and we're an educational company, and I'm a consultant. And so therefore, like, the work that I do brings in most of the money. But, like, without the supporting work, I'd have a whole lot more work to do. Does that make sense? So I could live a much more lavish lifestyle than I live. I could have nicer cars, I could live in a much nicer house in a much nicer neighborhood, and I could take more, way more vacations than I take and all of that. But if I did that, I wouldn't have the ability to make sure that when trouble comes, we don't have to lay anybody off. Right? And here's like, even though I think. I mean, I think I'm pretty sure I make more money than everybody in our company. I'm pretty sure I do. But even though I make More money dollar wise than everybody in our company, percentage wise, based on the amount of money every worker brings in, I make the least. I make the smallest percentage of the money that I bring in of anybody in my company. I want you to think about that. Why? Because my priorities are in the right place. I didn't just start this business so I can be okay. One of the reasons I really resisted hiring people was because I want to give people a job and then make them think they were going to be able to pay their bills and then have to lay them off because I couldn't figure out how to make it work well enough. Okay, so anyway, so you have to prioritize your finances based on reality, not based on fantasy. Like, if you're always looking at Instagram and YouTube and like, if you're looking at Instagram and YouTube and X and Facebook and TikTok and you're looking at how other people are living their lives, you're comparing the best part of their life with the reality of your life and thinking you're not doing well. And so what you'll do is you'll make financial decisions to keep. You'll buy things that you don't need to and that you can't afford to impress people that you don't know or don't like and will never meet. It doesn't make any sense. You have to prioritize in your finances. I am going to do the thing that makes the most sense, and I'm going to do the things that make the most sense first. So that if I don't have time to get to something, I don't get to the things that make the least amount of sense. And in business, if it don't make no dollars, it don't make no sense. Okay, y' all tracking? Okay, so I'm not gonna charge extra for that. Okay, so you have the mind. What is the mind? See, a lot of people think the mind is the brain, but the mind has a conscious level and a subconscious level. I like to think of the brain, the conscious mind, as the manual mind. It's the part that you control with effort. Consciously, you're aware of the fact that you're making it do something. The subconscious mind I like to call the automatic mind. Can I share some amazing news that I've discovered? All of the results that you're producing in your life, you're producing on the automatic mind level, the subconscious level. Like if you're, if you are like succeeding wildly right now, you're succeeding wildly because your subconscious mind is programmed to succeed wildly. If you're struggling right now, you are struggling because your subconscious mind is programmed to struggle. It's like setting a thermostat. It's, like, set in and forget it. Here's when I discovered this. I was talking to one of my coaching clients. This was probably 25, maybe even 30 years ago. I was talking to one of my clients. I said, how's business? They said, I'm really trying. And that it hit me so, like, off guard, I wasn't expecting that answer. I'm really trying. And then I thought to myself, I'm not really trying. And I'm sure I was making at least tens of thousands of dollars a month, at least. And I'm not really trying, huh? So I called my coach, my mentor. I called Jerry Clark. I said, jerry, are you trying to make money? He literally started laughing. And I don't know if you know Jerry Clark or not. No, I'm not trying. Right. And I realized people who are succeeding aren't trying to succeed any more than people who are struggling or trying to struggle. In both cases, it's automatic. What? In both cases, automatic. So if you are succeeding, you're succeeding automatically. If you're struggling, you're struggling automatically. So the question then becomes, how do I turn on my automatic success mechanism and turn off my automatic failure mechanism? Isn't that the question? And what's interesting is you have to use words. You have to use your mind. But in order to use your mind, to reprogram your mind, you must use words. Why? Because you can speak without thinking. How many ever said, oh, man, I should have thought before I said that, Right? You can speak without thinking, but you can't think without words. So even though communication is the second highest level of value, it may be the most essential level, because without it, you can't even have imagination, right? Jim Rohn said, and I got this from Jim Rohn. So if it's not true, blame it on him. But I think it makes sense. He said some organization did research with a bunch of inmates in prison. He said, and they found something that they weren't looking for. They found out that all of these inmates had a very small vocabulary. And then he said, words are not just a communication tool. They are the window through which we see the world. He said, if you have a very small vocabulary, maybe you don't need a very large space to live in. And then I started thinking about how if you have a larger vocabulary, you have more tools with which to express yourself. If you have A larger vocabulary, you have more tools with which to think. And so learning more words, increasing your vocabulary increases your capacity to communicate, and it increases your capacity to think. How cool is that? What if every time you read a book, what if you decided, there's never going to be a day of my life that goes by that I don't read some pages in some book or listen to some pages in some audiobook? What if you decided that. And what if you decided that every time you came across a word that you didn't know, you'd look it up and you'd get so good with language that you could promulgate your esoteric conjugations and articulate your superficial sentimentalities with amicable and philosophical and psychological observations. And you could beware of platitudinous ponderosities and demonstrate a clarified conciseness with comprehensibleness and no jejune bafflement. What if you could do that? Do what, Myron? What if you could say what you mean and not use big words because that's what all that stuff meant? What if you had enough. What if you had enough tools in your toolbox, in your word toolbox, that you could think more clearly and speak more clearly and not always be misunderstood and persuade people who it would be in their best interest for you to persuade them and persuade people for whom it would be in your best interest to persuade them just because you had a bigger vocabulary and you were aware of more than just the lyrics of songs and the lines in movies, but you actually knew something that mattered. I'm not saying lyrics and songs don't matter. Some lyrics matter, some don't. So make sure your mind is over your money. You make sure you prioritize your financial decisions in the right way, and then you use your mouth to overcome the tragedy that is ambiguity. Ambiguity is a tragedy. Ambiguity is a tragedy. What's ambiguity? Lack of clarity when you communicate. You didn't say what you thought you said. You said what they actually heard. My daughter always says, deedee. I gotta give her credit because it's one of the best quotes I've ever heard. The biggest mistake in communication is thinking that it happened. Tony Robbins said, your communication is the response you get. So you didn't say, myron golden says, since I'm quoting, people, might as well quote me. Okay? Myron golden says that you didn't say what you thought you said. You said what they actually heard. So if you're going to be. If you're going to. If you're going to Overcome. Use your mouth to overcome the tragedy, that is ambiguity. What you have to do is you have to perceive how the words that you're saying are being received as you say them. So communicating with somebody is not just talking to them or talking at them, but it's talking to them and then paying attention to the response. You're getting to see if you conveyed the message that you thought you conveyed or did you convey something else. Oh, and here's what happens. They don't have to say something, they just have to like, what does this look? See to me that look. That's disgusting. What does this look? That's confused. What does this look? I don't believe you. Right. Are you tracking? And so what if you became so audience aware, whether you're talking to an audience of 1 or an audience of 100,000? What if you became so audience aware that as you're communicating to people, you are reading their energy at the same time? Because here's what I found out about people. Sometimes they lie. Unless you're a sociopath or a psychopath, you can lie with your words, but your energy always tells the truth. So I listen to people's energy while they're listening to my words. So I can perceive if I've overcome the tragedy that is ambiguity. I didn't make myself clear. So that's number one. So you overcome the tragedy of ambiguity and then you optimize the technology of articulation. Technology of articulation? Words are technology. Sure they are. Have you ever played Pictionary? Does it take you longer to convey your message when you're playing Pictionary than it does when you're just having a conversation with somebody? Why? Because technology is anything that makes an activity easier. Well, guess what? When you go into a job interview and you've not mastered the technology of articulation, what happens is sometimes you don't get the job. Not because you're not good at the thing thing, but just because you're not good at telling them how good you are at the thing. If you're an entrepreneur, sometimes you don't get the deal. Not because you're not the best at doing the thing, but because you're not the best at communicating that you're the best at doing the thing. Being the best at doing the thing, without being the best at communicating you're the best at doing the thing. You are going to be an under monetized asset. So you have to really get good at talking. But I don't like to talk. Okay, get good at it anyway, because you definitely like to get paid, see, Optimize the technology of articulation by reading more. So I was talking to a friend of mine, Kenny Grant. I talk about Kenny Grant a lot. He's so funny. I love this guy. One of these days, I'm gonna have him come down here and do a whole week of Bible studies for us. The dude is. He's probably the best communicator I know in the world of everybody I know. Anyway, so I was. He. He lived in Savannah, but he used to pastor a church in Brunswick, Georgia. Then I went to pastor that church in Brunswick, Georgia, that he started. And I asked him one day, I was like, kenny, how do you do that thing you do with those outlines that you create? And he said, oh, man, my mind just runs that way. You know what I thought he didn't want to tell me. That's what I thought he didn't want to tell me. He didn't want to give me a secret sauce. That's what I thought he said. Yeah, man. And here's what he said. All the people I read after, that's how they talk. And so since I read after those people, my mind just runs that way. And I thought to myself, he doesn't want to tell me. And so, by the way, this is one of, like, that conversation is a large part of why I communicate the way I communicate today. Because the second half of that was, okay, I'm not gonna let him just get away with that. I get it. You don't want to tell me. Okay, who are these people you read after? Well, you know, I read after John Phillips. Okay, John Phillips, great. So I bought me a John Phillips sermon book where John Phillips had all these books, all these sermons in the New Testament, right? I'm like, okay, cool. So I'm studying John Phillips because Kenny said, this is who he reads after. So I want. So then I'm in Brooklyn, New York. I'm preaching at Vinnie Sawyer's church. And I said, and Vinny's one of the best Bible teachers I've ever met. Like, he's in the top three or four Bible teachers I've ever learned from in my life. And so Vinnie says, I'm like, vinny, hey, I got this sermon book, man. Check it out. And I showed him John Phillips. And Vinny, like, you have never met anybody with less of an ego. Vinny's just Vinny. Like, he's not trying to prove anything to anybody. He's got nothing to hide, nothing to lose, nothing to prove. Nothing to gain. Vinny's just Vinny, right? And so I showed Vinny this book, this John Phillips book. I said, vinny, what do you think about that? He said, eh, it's okay. Why am I confused? I'm confused right now, right? And I'm like, kenny Grant's like the best communicator, preacher, speaker I know. Vinnie's one of the best Bible teachers I know. I showed Vinny what Kenny likes and Vinnie didn't like it. And Vinny's not just doing that because he's flexing. He's not. Vinny doesn't flex. Like, why doesn't he like this? I'm so confused. I said, okay, tell me why you say it's just okay. He said, I don't like outlines like that. I said, outlines like what? He said, I don't like one word outlines. The mind, the mouth, the motives, the methods. He said, I don't like that. He said, I believe that every point in an outline should be a complete thought. I was like, what do you mean? And then. And then he told me. I was like, that's so good. My face almost melted off, right? So now I've got Kenny's methodology mixed with Vinny's methodology. And I'm like, I'm now a better communicator because I had these two conversations on two totally separate days with two totally separate individuals who communication is their life. I'm like, like, I can do this. It's going to take time. So that's why I didn't just say in the first point, perceptions, perspectives and priorities. I said, learn true perceptions, love truthful perspectives and leverage tried and true priorities. Why those are complete thoughts. He said, and so I've been thinking about this for decades, like, why this makes so much sense to me. And I realized that these two conversations with these two individuals in this one book that I studied made me realize that the more work I do in preparing an outline that I'm going to teach from, the less work the people who are listening to me have to do to understand what I'm saying. That was such a breakthrough for me. Like, literally, I'm not exaggerating. Just like if I end this video right now, you have learned how to become a better communicator to the point where you can go from making whatever you're making right now in whatever field you're in, to getting to the point where you can make 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 times more than that. But let's keep going so you overcome the tragedy that Is ambiguity. With your mouth, you optimize the technology of articulation by. Oh, and by the way, I forgot to tell you, in the book by John Phillips, one of the things he did with his outlines was he alliterated all of his outlines. So all of his points began with the same letter or prefix or ended with the same suffix. So when you take alliteration and add it to your articulation and then you put complete thoughts together that are alliterated. Oh, you are going to be one of like, almost nobody does this. It's. You're literally like making it like super easy for people to listen to you. Why? Because they're not having to waste any bandwidth to find baskets to put your words in because you handed them the content in a basket. Okay. So when you overcome the tragedy of ambiguity and you optimize the technology of articulation, then and only then can you offer timely answers. What does the scripture say? A word spoken in due time. How good it is. Wow. Now I get it. Now I get it. When I read King Solomon, he wrote 3,000 proverbs and his songs were 1,005, by the way. It's way more work to do this, but it's worth way more than the work it is. Okay? And so your mind, you get control over your mind by learning true perspectives, loving truthful perspective, learning true perceptions, loving truthful perspectives, and then leveraging tried and true priorities. And then you optimize your mouth with. You optimize. I'm sorry, you overcome the tragedy that is ambiguity. You optimize the technology of articulation. You offer timely answers. And then motivation. What's motivation? That's speaking to the heart level. So notice, the mind is the imagination level. The mouth is the communication level. The motives, those are the unification level. That's the heart. Do you realize when your mind and your heart are in alignment, that's when you have the most power. When your mind and heart are not in alignment, that's when you have the least power. But one of the things you have to do is you have to learn how to make your mind recruit your heart to pull in the direction that it does. Because if it doesn't. Right? So I have an idea. So I'm gonna. But I'm not feeling it. And so because I'm not feeling it, I have to make myself feel like doing the thing so that I will do it. Now here's what happens. Here's what most people do. They feel like it. And so what they do is they'll recruit their Mind to come pull in the same direction as their heart. And then they both end up in a ditch. Because when the blind leads the blind, they both end up in a ditch. And your heart is blind. People who say, follow your heart. If somebody ever gives you the advice, follow your heart. Run from them as far as you can, as fast as you can, and then stay away from them as long as you can. Why? Because the scripture says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? Don't follow your heart. You can't trust your heart. You have to follow your head. You have to make your heart follow your head. Don't let your head follow your heart. Okay, so what do I do when it comes to my motives? I talked about my mind, I talked about my mouth. Now what do I do when it comes to my motives? Be suspicious of your passions. Be suspicious, not suspicion. Be suspicious of your passions. Like which passions? All of them. Just know that your heart, your desires, the drive of your life is going to have a desire to lead you in the wrong direction. That's why people commit adultery. It's why people commit murder. It's why people rob banks. And they'll logically justify this bad feeling through this concept called rationalization. They'll rationalize. What does rationalize mean? I feel like doing something, so I let my heart tell my mind rational lies. Be suspicious of your passions. Like the. More like if you have this really strong desire to do something, put it on the back burner and then go evaluate it logically to see if it makes sense. Because when emotions go up, intelligence goes down. Then once you become suspicious of your passions, then you become systematic in your pursuits. How do I become systematic in my pursuits? I make my decisions in my head. And then I make my desires. Desire the thing that my head design. Desire the thing that my head decided on. Most people are terrible at making decisions. Most people make choices and think the choice was a decision. Decide de Latin root over from side to cut. When you make a decision, you cut yourself off from every other possibility. But when you make a choice, choose just means pick one. So you pick something, and then when you don't feel like it anymore, you pick something else. I mean, you don't feel like that anymore. You pick something else. You don't feel like that anymore. You don't pick something else. Like, isn't that what people at the gym do? They don't work out because they don't feel like it. I didn't work out yesterday and last night it's like 7:30. Oh, no, we ain't going to bed. You didn't earn sleep today, baby. We fixing to push it. So I made myself work out. I made myself work out until I was in pain. Why? Because it's gonna make me stronger. And stronger feels worse at first. That's a poem. I know. Okay, stronger feels worse at first, but it feels better after a while. Okay? So become systematic in your pursuits and then be substantive in your persistence. Once you make a decision to do something, regardless of whether you feel like doing it, do it anyway. How many are tracking? See, I decided that just because I'm getting older doesn't mean I have to get more tired. Just because I'm getting older doesn't mean I have to get weaker. Just because I'm getting older doesn't mean I have to get out of shape. No, they don't have to go together. They only go together because people are following their heart. Okay, y'. All tracking. And then last thing we're gonna do, the implementation is our methodologies, our methods. Discover more efficient methods. So I just watched this YouTube video by this kid over in the UK this morning on how John Mayer learn the guitar. And it's something I already do, but I wanted to see what he said. So I'm like, it's only seven minutes. I'm watching this video. How John Mayer learned it. Have you ever heard John Mayer play the guitar? The dude is a good. Like, he's a monster. And John Mayer said, when you learn something on the guitar, don't just learn the thing. Learn the building blocks of the thing. So when you learn how to play a song, don't just learn how to play the song. Learn the building blocks of the song. Learn the chords. Learn the pentatonic scale that the melody is coming from. Learn the cycle of thirds and the cycle of fourths and the cycle of fifths, and learn, like, all of the building blocks of the things you just learned, and then you'll be able to go build your own, right? Like, if you don't have. If you don't have efficient methods of doing something. So one of the things that I dreaded when I first started learning the guitar, I dreaded learning all of the notes on the fretboard. Because there are six strings and there are 22 frets, that's 132 different notations. And memorizing them is not the objective. Recognizing them as the objective. Like, when I see an E, I don't have to go, let me see the line down the three Lines. Oh, that's an E. No, I just recognize it. Right. So, like instantaneous note recognition on every string, on every fret of the guitar. That was the thing that, to me was like, I don't know if I can learn that. Of course you can learn that. You learn so many other things that are so much harder than that. That's only 132 things. And so there's this concept called cycle four, the cycle of fourths. No, this is the cycle of. This is cycle of thirds. Let me see. A flat, C, F, C, F. Cycle, fourths. This is cycle of fourths. C F, B flat, E flat, A flat, D flat, F sharp, B E. A, D, G, C, F, B flat, E flat, A flat, D flat, C B, E. A D, G, C, F B flat, E flat. A flat, D flat, F sharp, B, E, E, A, D, G. First you memorize the order, and then you pick one string and you memorize. You play all those notes on that string. And then once you can do that with a metronome playing at 60 beats per minute in quarter notes and half notes and eighth notes, then go to the next string and do the same thing. And then before you know it, in six weeks or so, you memorized all 132 notes on the prep board. Say, Mike, what are you talking about? I discovered an efficient method. That's an efficient method. And then you develop effective methods. What does that mean? Efficient means I'm using the least amount of energy to produce the result. Effective means I'm producing the greatest result I can produce when I do the thing. So you develop effective methods. So you develop methods that are hyper effective. Okay? And then you deploy effort in your methods that you discovered and developed. So you deploy those methods out into the marketplace, and then they will work. So what happens when you discover efficient methods? You develop effective methods, and then you deploy effort in those methods. Here's what happens. You become one of the best of the best in the world in your arena. Because almost nobody does that in any arena. Most people do just enough to do just enough. They do. They become okay at being okay. It's like I talk about when I talk about prices of law. Almost everybody is willing to do enough to be one of the mediocre many, but only a handful of people in any arena are willing to do what it takes to become one of the fantastic few. If you just pick an arena and decide, I'm going to go all in at becoming the best in this arena, make sure it's an arena that's worth Being the best in. But if you do that, like you don't want to become the best in the world at thumb wrestling, right? Like, make sure it's worthwhile and then pursue that arena. And before you know it, what's going to happen when you become the best of the best in your arena? The world will be the path to your door. I hope this mind over money mastery lesson was helpful, by the way. Mind, subconscious, automatic. I mean, subconscious, automatic mind, conscious, manual mind. Money. Money is nothing more than a certificate of service, a certificate of value created for someone other than yourself. Why do we have money? We have money because we created value for somebody other than ourselves and they paid us money. And people who provide value are only willing to provide value to people who provide a value to someone else. That's why when I go to Eddie V's to eat dinner, I have to be able to prove to them that I served enough people for them to bring me some food. And then when they bring me some food, I give them my certificates. And then they got certificates to go pay the people that serve them. Okay. What is mastery? Mastery is your ability to execute effortlessly without the use of conscious resources. Imagine being so good at using your mind and your mouth that to you, it feels almost effortless. But to the people who want to come by and plagiarize you, for the people who want to come by and steal your content, they don't have. They don't even have any place to put it. Become that person and your life will change. Become a mind over money master. I guarantee you, you'll be glad you did. Thanks for watching. We'll see you on the next video. Bye for now. When there are fewer people, you have.
