A short spoken reflection defining "real love" as selfless care (putting another's needs above your own) and criticizing transactional attitudes in relationships. The speaker links social-media-driven culture and a search for significance/certainty to rising anger and insecurity, arguing these behaviors lack love, growth, and spiritual contribution.

What is real love? It's when you put someone's needs above your own. When you love somebody completely, you will do what for them, My friends? What? Anything. It's not tit for tat. It's not a measuring stick. It's not, you did this, and I did that. The minute you measure, the relationship is now a transaction. It is not a relationship. And unfortunately, in our society, especially social media and the current culture, is all about significance first and certainty. And the reason people get angry is when you feel insecure about who you are. When you get angry, you feel certain. And when you get angry, people respond to you. So people get angry about everything now. But there's no love in that. There's no growth in that. There's no real contribution in that. There's no spirit in that. It's all the mind.
