When you have no identity, you have no sense of purpose and no sense of belonging. What does that create? Creates frustration, creates confusion. Where do I belong? What are we? Who are we? Anger and then violence. I've been there. When I left the military, I was lost. 6 months later, I ended up in prison. Didn't recognize myself. I didn't know where I belonged. I didn't have an identity. I was trying to refigure this everything out. And guess what happened? Frustration. I got confused. I went down that road to where it hit violence. Where us as a society right now, we're in that anger, extreme anger, teetering into violence, teetering into civil unrest. It's because of our lack of culture, our lack of identity.
