How did you make your money? I grew up in my dad's spa shop, so my dad would pay me a fiver a shift. By 13, 14, I'd saved £1,000 in £5 notes. So I said to my dad one day, I said, Dad, I got £1,000, I want to buy a car. He went, where'd you get that grand from? I said, you know, the fivers you've been giving me, I've been saving them. He said, have you really? I said, okay, well, if you put a grand in, I'll put a grand in. And our next-door neighbors in Valleys, in a place called Evervale, Robert Clark took us to Tewkesbury Car Auctions, British car auctions, and I bought a 1983 Escort 1.6 Ghia. Gave £2,000 for it, put it in the Exchange Mart and the Western Mail, which is the local rag for South Wales. I sold it the same day for £2,500. I made £500 out of it.
