In this sermon excerpt, the speaker recounts a divine prompting about an upcoming "nexus" season. He first interprets "Nexus" through the lens of a U.S.-Canada border‑crossing program that speeds pre‑approved travelers, using the image of an accelerated, unhindered passage. He then discovers the word’s Latin root meaning “convergence” and links it to the biblical concept of Kairos – God’s appointed, non‑chronological moment. The speaker defines Kairos as a divinely‑opened window of time and Nexus as the spiritual point where people, events, and places converge. He argues that Kairos cannot manifest without a Nexus and vice‑versa; only when the temporal window (Kairos) and the convergence point (Nexus) align do God’s purposes become visible. The speaker emphasizes human obedience as the necessary response that positions believers at the Nexus, allowing the Kairos window to be activated, and cites numerous biblical examples where obedience unlocked divine timing, likening the process to a divine orchestra.

Hey guys, I wanted to share something very interesting with you. A few nights ago, the Lord woke me up with this sentence. He said, many of you are going to experience a nexus kind of season. Nexus, N-E-X-U-S. As I woke up and I was writing it down, I thought he was talking about this program called Nexus, which is a program designed to accelerate border crossing between Canada and the United States. It's for low-risk, uh, pre-approved, uh, travelers, and it's very quick. Um, I guess they just show their passport and they're through. They don't have to, um, get their cars checked or asked a bunch of questions. They're pre-approved for passing through. And so I thought the Lord was saying that we were going to experience this accelerated season— no delays, open doors, no hindrances. But then I went and looked up the word, and it is an actual word. It's a Latin word which means, um, convergence Of things like people, events, and places, and the nexus is the point in which they meet. And I've actually used this description to describe a Kairos moment. I've always described Kairos as an intersection of people, places, and events that happened at the perfect time, at the right location, and that's when the Kairos opens up and things happen. But the Lord showed me that Kairos without Nexus cannot happen, cannot exist, and vice versa. Nexus without Kairos, uh, it cannot manifest because it needs a time. So the best way I can describe it, because it's really hard to put into words, to put these concepts into words because they're so abstract, is that Kairos is the window of time, the appointed time God's appointed time. It's a moment in time, but it's not chronological time. It's a window that opens up. And Nexus is the point of convergence. It's like an intersection where all the things and people needed for this event to happen during the Kairos time will come together, and this is when things manifest. It's almost as if Nexus is A location, more like a spiritual position, a convergence. It's a place, but it's not a geographical place, in the same sense as Kairos is a moment in time, but it's not actually a moment in time, chronological time. It's all spiritual and abstract. But when these 2 things converge, that's, that's when things happen and manifest. And We have a part to play in this— our obedience. There are so many examples in the Bible of things happening because of somebody's obedience, and God opening the kairos time window of time, the opportune time, and all the pieces coming together like a divine orchestra.
