In this episode of the Rewired for Purpose podcast, the host (Rosangela Atte) delivers a devotional‑prophetic monologue that challenges listeners—especially women—to discover their identity as it is ordained by God, not as it is defined by external titles, achievements, or trauma. She opens with a divine question: if King Solomon were naked, would he still be king? The question pivots to the listener: who are you without your “robes” of status, gifts, or platforms? Using biblical narratives of Solomon and Esther, she illustrates that royal identity is a heavenly decree that exists before any outward adornment. The talk then shifts to a trauma‑informed, neuroscience‑inspired framework, outlining three key brain truths: (1) the self‑schema (the brain’s identity blueprint), (2) neuroplasticity (the brain’s capacity to rewire identity through safety, repetition, and the Holy Spirit), and (3) the Pygmalion effect (how expectations shape self‑perception). She contrasts survival‑based identities—hypervigilance, people‑pleasing, perfectionism—with the divine identity that emerges when the nervous system feels safe. The host guides listeners through a series of embodied practices: breath work, heart‑hand placement, spoken affirmations, and journal prompts designed to release false identities and activate the “royal” self. The episode culminates in a prayer for stripping away false labels and being clothed again in God‑given royalty, followed by a direct invitation to join her “Esther Method” coaching program, a proprietary, trauma‑informed, neuroscience‑supported framework that moves women from orphan identity to royal identity. The overall message is that identity is eternal, bestowed by God, and must be reclaimed and lived out through both inner transformation and outward authority.

Welcome back, beloved daughters, to the Rewired for Purpose podcast. Today we are entering sacred ground. I heard the Lord ask me in the night, if Solomon was naked, would he still be king? And something inside me shook because the Lord wasn't asking about Solomon, he was asking about me. He was asking about you. Who are you without your robes, your gifts, your titles, your beauty? Who are you without all the platforms and the people? Are you still crowned even when nothing looks royal? Today we're stripping off false identity and stepping into heaven-authored truth, not by striving but by remembering. Solomon wasn't king because of his garments, his gold, His wisdom, his honor— those were outward signs, not the source. He was king because God decreed it, his father's blessing confirmed it, and heaven established it. Strip the crown, he's still king. Strip the platform, he's still chosen. Strip the applause, he's still anointed. And the Holy Spirit whispered, daughter, if everything was stripped, would you still know who you are? This is not a question of loss. It's a question of truth. Esther did not become queen the moment she wore the crown. She already was. She just didn't know it yet. Her year of purification wasn't to create someone new. It was to remove everything life had placed on her: the orphan identity, the survival patterns, the fear, the rejection, the invisibility, the feeling unwanted. Being chosen last. All of that had to fall away so the royal identity already written in heaven could rise. When God calls you queen, no palace or crown makes it more true. It only reveals what was already there. Identity isn't just spiritual, it's neurological. You don't become who God says you are, you remember who he made you to be and rewire your brain to live from it. These are 3 truths about neuroscience you need to know. Your brain stores a self-identity blueprint called a self-schema. Whatever you repeat becomes what your brain believes. If you lived rehearsing, I'm not enough, I must earn love, I'm overlooked, I'm a burden, I'm an orphan, people leave me, I'm too much, I'm not qualified, your brain wires that in. But identity built from trauma is not identity. It's survival programming. The second truth is neuroplasticity. Here's the good news: the brain can rewire your identity and rewrite it through repetition, safety, truth, Holy Spirit encounters, nervous system regulation, and relational healing. Romans 12:2 is neuroscience. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Neuroplasticity equals heaven's built-in mechanism For inner healing. The 3rd truth about neuroscience that you need to know is the Pygmalion effect. This scientific truth changes everything. We live up or down to the expectations placed on us. If life said, you don't matter, you're too emotional, you're too much, you're too small, don't shine, you'll never be like her, you're not capable, then your brain absorbed those expectations and shaped your identity around them. But God's expectation is different. You don't become who people expect, you become who God calls. Their expectations shaped the bondage, but his expectation shapes your deliverance. Your nervous system stores identity experiences. Hypervigilance is not discernment. People pleasing is not kindness. Perfectionism is not excellence. Appeasing is not humility. Isolation is not holiness, and numbness is not strength. These are all defensive identities, not divine ones. But when your nervous system feels safe, your true identity emerges. You don't build identity; you allow it to surface. Now place your hand over your heart and say gently: Before ability, I was chosen. Before ministry, I was his. Before titles, I was daughter. I am naked yet crowned. Identity before adornment. Now pause, breathe, and let it settle in. Inhale for 4 seconds while thinking, God named me. Exhale for 6 and think, I release false identity. Put a soft hand over your heart. Drop your shoulders, release the tension, and whisper, I return to who I am in him. Repeat this 5 times. This helps your vagus nerve to learn safety. Your body learns identity. Take these journal prompts and let the Holy Spirit speak. Who was I before the world named me? Where did I learn to perform for love? What identity labels did trauma place on me? How does heaven introduce me? If nothing external defined me, who would I be? Where am I still living like Esther the orphan? What garments must I strip off today? What royal truth am I called to put on? Now speak aloud: I am chosen before I achieve. I am called without confirmation. I am seen even when unseen by men. Heaven clothes me. Identity is my inheritance. I am who God says I am. No garment required. The Lord asked me again the same night the same question: if Solomon was naked, would he still be king? I answered, yes, Lord, because identity is bestowed By you, not garments, not throne, no applause, no wealth, no wisdom. But he said, "If Solomon would walk out of that palace and abdicated his seat, he could not rule as a king. He would still be king in identity, but not in function." Something inside me trembled because this is us. We can still be royal and live like paupers. It was a scary truth to realize. We can be crowned by heaven and crawl through life like we're. We can inherit a kingdom yet stand outside the palace gates in fear. We can have the keys yet choose to live in chains. We can possess identity yet abandon position. And I said out loud, no thank you, absolutely not. I refuse to be displaced, to forget my seat, and to live like a pauper when heaven calls me royal. I will not apologize for God-given authority. I will not bow down to shame, fear, or false humility. I will not stand outside the palace door God opened for me. I'm not begging for crumbs when my Father prepared a table for me. I'm not shrinking back into survival when grace called me to reign. I'm not handing my throne to insecurity, disappointment, or old identities. I'm returning to my seat. And the Lord said, because my return is near, I'm calling my bride into her fullness, especially my daughters. In this hour, the women of God will rise in purity, identity, and authority. No more hiding, no more delay, no more living beneath your royal name. Heaven is summoning his daughters to stand in their true stature before the King returns. Daughters, you have to reclaim your throne. Many of us know that we are chosen, we declare it, yet we stepped outside the palace of purpose because fear whispered, Who do you think you are? But listen, you did not lose your crown. You simply left your seat. Your calling never expired because heaven is calling you back to reign. Identity is eternal. Nobody can take it away from you. But position must be stewarded and authority must be walked in. Even naked, you are royal. But to rule, you must return. Esther didn't become queen when she wore perfume. She became queen when she stood in boldness, obedience, and surrender. Her crown was not proven in the beauty but in the courage. Your identity is settled. Your authority activates when you stand in it. Without standing in your authority, without taking possession of your position, you will keep living as a pauper and as a beggar. You need to sit back down on your throne. The Lord spoke to me a 3rd time, and he said, Solomon would still be king if he was naked. Why? Because I made him king. His crown did not come from robes, gold, or wisdom. It came from my decree and his birthright. He was king before the palace, king before the throne, king when he entered the world, and king when he left it. Naked or adorned, Wise or unwise, he would still be who I said he was. So daughter, stop looking for identity in what you do, what you own, or who affirms you. You are already validated, already approved, already chosen, already crowned. Just as Esther shed the orphan identity, you must strip off what life placed on you, peel back what trauma taught you, lay down what survival strapped To your soul. Return to your God-formed state so I can clothe you again in righteousness, purpose, identity, glory, and truth. Your robe is not your identity. Your platform is not your worth. Your gifting is not your name. Your calling is not your clothing. You were mine before the mantle, royal before recognition, beloved before you believed it. And nothing you lose and nothing you gain changes who I say you are. Let's pray. Lord, strip us of false identities. Lord, remove every garment shame placed on us, Jesus. Every label trauma attached to us. Every lie we agreed with. Every weight never meant for us. Clothe us again, Jesus, in who we truly are. Royal daughters, chosen and set apart. In your name we pray. Amen and amen. If this word stirred your spirit and your nervous system, if you're ready to shed false identities and step into your royal truth, I invite you into the Esther Method.
