In this heartfelt video, Rosangela recounts a pivotal moment from when she was 19 years old. After a severe motorcycle accident, she discovered she was pregnant and was advised by doctors to terminate the pregnancy due to radiation exposure. Torn between fear of a disabled child and her lifelong desire to be a mother, she prayed for guidance. She describes hearing a clear divine voice saying, “Rosangela, choose life,” and requesting a sign—blue eyes for the baby. Following this prayer, she announced her decision, married her boyfriend, and gave birth to a son with striking blue eyes. The son grew up to become a successful maxillofacial and plastic surgeon, which Rosangela interprets as further evidence of God’s blessing. The testimony is framed as an encouragement to anyone considering abortion, urging them to trust divine guidance and choose life.

Today I want to share something with you that I have never shared before publicly. When I was 19 years old, I almost had an abortion. I had a really bad motorcycle accident with my boyfriend, and when they took me to the hospital to figure out what was wrong with me, because I would scream in pain every time they moved me, they gave me x-rays, MRIs, and ultrasounds, and they figured out that I had broken ribs on the left side of my body. As I recovered, I realized I was pregnant. And when I went to see the doctors, they told me that I should terminate the pregnancy because of all the radiations that I had been given a few weeks earlier. And they said, you know, you're really young, you have your whole life ahead of you. You don't want to have a child that might be handicapped or abnormal. You should terminate the pregnancy. And I really, really wanted this baby. I really wanted to be a mom. I always wanted to be a mom since I was a little kid. And but at the same time, I was so scared of having a severely disabled child. Like, how— what would my future look like? What would the baby's future look like? Was I going to be a single mom? Like, all these questions just tormented me. And I grew up in a Christian home. My boyfriend was not a Christian, but obviously I was living in sin. But I always loved the Lord and I always believed He was real. And so one day I was in the bathroom and I was crying out to Him and I asked Him, Tell me what to do. I know what the right thing to do is. I know what you, you know, what you want from me, but I need you to tell me what to do. I need, I need your confirmation. I need to know that my baby's going to be okay. And he says, Rosangela, choose life and your faith and obedience will heal your child. I heard this so loud and clear. I said, okay, God, I will do that. I will have this child. I will obey you, but you have to promise me that the sign that you have healed him in my womb will be his blue eyes. I said, he will have blue eyes, and that is the sign that you have healed him in my womb. I got out of the bathroom. I was a different person. I told everybody that I was going to have this child. It was going to be a boy, and he was going to have blue eyes. My boyfriend and I ended up getting married. Our son was born months later, and he was perfect. He was perfect, and he had the bluest blue eyes, blue like the sky. And my husband and I both have brown eyes. I believe that the Lord healed him in my womb and that he gave me— gave him the blue eyes as a sign. And now he is 31 years old. He is a maxillofacial surgeon and a plastic surgeon. I believe the Lord also gave him a gift of healing because he is a brilliant young man. I wanted to share this today specifically for Those of you who are thinking of having an abortion, that are considering having an abortion because of what the doctor said or because you don't feel like you're ready to be a mother, I want you to know that each and every
