In this devotional teaching, the speaker addresses people who have a prophetic calling, explaining why they often experience sudden, heavy emotions and a sense of mental instability. She frames these feelings as a natural by‑product of carrying God’s future messages before the world is ready, describing prophetic intercession as a weight‑bearing role that can cause sadness, guilt, shame, or confusion. The talk emphasizes that prophetic people are not “crazy” but are sensitive to the emotional temperature of their environment and to the world’s brokenness. Using Elijah’s story as a biblical illustration, she shows how prophets must “birth” the word through prayer and active participation. The core argument is that unhealed soul wounds—unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, trauma—filter and taint prophetic words, so healing is essential before one can reliably deliver unfiltered messages. She urges listeners to examine their inner wounds, seek God’s revelation about their emotions, and pursue wholeness through prayer, forgiveness, and surrender of ego. The message concludes with a prayer for revelation, healing, purity, and empowerment for those walking in prophetic gifts, and a blessing in Jesus’ name.
Chapters
Hey guys, I just felt I needed to come on and talk to all of you who are walking in a prophetic calling, a prophetic gifting, because I go through these seasons and I know that if I do, then other people like me are also going through these seasons, which can be very confusing. By confusing, I mean feeling emotions that come out of nowhere, and that's because as prophetic people, we are called to walk with our life in the same message that we carry, because we experience the weight and the tension of the transition, of the shift, before anybody else, before other people experience it. So, um, it's like walking in the future before others arrive. We are already feeling that tension. So you may wake up in the morning and feeling this heaviness over yourself because you're carrying a prophetic Something that the Lord has placed on your heart. That's also part of being a prophetic intercessor, feeling that weight, feeling that heaviness, going through seasons in which you carry this pain in your heart for certain situations or certain people or certain groups of people, things that are happening in the world. And sometimes it may feel like you're losing your mind, literally. Like this morning, I woke up with an incredible Sadness. And I was like, Lord, what is happening? And because then you start doubting yourself, like you have, you know, you're unstable, you feel guilty, you feel shame. But the Lord said, this has nothing to do with you, but has to do how my heart is feeling with what is happening in the world. And so you know what to pray for, you know what to intercede for, who to intercede for. And so I wanted to come on and say That you're not crazy and you're not wrong. Don't feel ashamed of your emotions because it's something that you're feeling because of your, of your gift. And also, when you enter certain environments or when you're around certain people, you might be feeling emotions that you don't usually feel or that come out of the blue. And that's because you are feeling the emotional temperature of that environment that you have just entered. You know, as prophetic people, we are not just called to relay the message, give the message, but we're also called to birth it. Um, the manifestation of these words sometimes need our participation depending on what type of word it is. If it's a word for one person, then you can assist that person in prayer. But if it's like a bigger word— some prophets are called to the nation then you play a role in that word. We can see it in Elijah's story when he went up the mountain, and even though he knew the Lord told him that the rain was gonna come, he still had to pray. And the Bible said he put his head between his knees, and it was like a birthing position. He was birthing that promise that the Lord was gonna send the rain and the drought was gonna end. And he did it until he saw a small sign Which was the cloud the size of a man's hand that his servant saw. And right away he took that sign. He didn't wait for the rain to come, but he took that as a sign and began to run. And he outran Ahab's chariot to the gates. But that's why it's also so important— I wouldn't say important, actually vital and essential— that we are healed in our soul before we can actually begin to move in our prophetic calling. Because those— Unhealed wounds will be filters to the Word of God. So it's very important that we eliminate any wound, any unforgiveness, any survival mechanisms, any biases, and just beliefs that have been created in us because of our past and our trauma. And so healing is an essential part of the prophetic ministry. I believe everybody's called to be healed. especially people that work in the ministry, especially in the prophetic, because when you give a word to somebody, it might be filtered through your lenses. And so it might be tainted with your own experience, with your own knowledge, with your own flesh, and you don't want that. So you, because you'll end up bleeding on the people that you're ministering to. So it's very, very important that we are healed before we begin to walk in the prophetic calling. And so I just wanted to come on and encourage you if you are feeling confused right now and you don't know why, or you don't know, you don't understand what that emotion is coming from, where that emotion is coming from, it might be because the Lord is making you walk through the prophetic season that we are walking through as, as people of God. And so ask the Lord, ask the Lord why you're feeling a certain way. Or it might be because you still need to heal certain wounds in your soul. And so I just want to pray for you right now. Lord Jesus, that you may open our eyes, God, and instruct us and give us revelation on why we are feeling certain emotions, feeling certain ways, God. And I pray that you would give revelation to anybody who is searching for an answer right now, that you would heal the wounds in their souls, God, that they would walk in purity, that they would walk in wholeness, Lord Jesus, so that every time they have a message from you, Lord, that they will be able to relay that message, to give the message as unfiltered as possible and as pure as possible, as if it's coming directly from you, Lord Jesus, because that's what prophets do. They are your oracles or mouthpieces, God, and we are supposed to give your message, whatever that may be, unfiltered, pure, and just as you have spoken it to us. So people of God, be encouraged. Um, walk in your gifting, God. Walk in your calling. But before anything Make sure that you are healed, that you have no unforgiveness, no bitterness, no resentment, no pride, and let your ego die because it is so essential in order to walk in the fullness of your calling as a prophet or as a prophetic minister, as a seer, as a nabi, whatever the call the Lord has called you to be. So I bless you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
