Ryan Maloney shows two After Effects plug-ins that cut animation time. Motion 4's Anchor-Point Mover repositions anchor points in one click instead of dragging. Animation Composer lets you scale multiple items from the bottom with a single setting.

Plugins and extensions that I use in After Effects to save time. Motion 4, and I use Animation Composer. Motion 4 is going to give me all these tools right here that allow me to quickly create nulls, move the anchor point. So let's say I want all of these items to pop in at once. If I didn't have this anchor point mover, I'd have to go up here, go to the anchor point, and slide and drag this down. Now this doesn't seem like it wastes a lot of time, but it does. Motion 4, I'm just selecting this and it moves the anchor point to the bottom. Now in Animation Composer, I can choose Use scale from the bottom. Done.
