Ryan Maloney sketches how people's tolerance for video length makes no sense: they reject 15-second clips as too short, accept 2-3 minute videos, dismiss 7 minutes, then happily watch 30-minute videos or podcasts. He's turning the contradiction into a comic strip.

The comic idea I'm going to pitch is an observation I had. You know when you send somebody a video and they just get impatient? It could be a 15-second video, but they're like, "15-second video? I'm not watching that. Way too long." But then you send them a 2-minute video and they'll gladly watch it. 3-minute video? Absolutely no way. Are they made of time? Like, absolutely not happening. 7-minute YouTube video? Yeah, I'll watch this. 30-minute video? Are you out of your mind? 2.5-hour podcast? Sure, yeah, I'll watch this. So I made a drawing for each one of those scenarios, and then I'll just break it down, export it out, and sort of list it out on a web page with some text in between to tell that story.
