In this excerpt, Ryan Maloney outlines his animation production process. He forgoes traditional pre‑drawn storyboards, opting instead to build an animatic straight within Adobe Animate. He then screenshots the animatic frames to create static storyboard images. From those storyboard screenshots he compiles a detailed to‑do list that guides the subsequent work, allowing him to visualize cool, fun moments first and then organize tasks efficiently.
