Ryan Maloney's children's story about a magical carnival on the moon, accessible only during rare blue moons. A rocket-ship roller coaster takes you to free rides: fly-by bumper cars, space swings, upside-down golf, cotton-candy trees, and a funhouse full of lollipops. The same coaster brings you home.

Away We Go Land, written and doodled by Ryan Maloney. A blue moon is rare, so you should know. If you look up at night and see a blue glow, the blue light comes from a place oh so grand. A carnival on the moon called Away We Go Land. It kind of sounds like a bad movie poster, but if you see a rocket ship roller coaster, hop on board, get ready for the show. 3, 2, 1, blast off, and away we go! You'll soon touch down, and when you stand, your mind will be blown by Away We Go Land. There are no tickets here, free games for all. Ride any ride you want, no matter how tall. You can fly bumper cars, you can do as you please. You can eat cotton candy from cotton candy trees. You can swing on space swings, you can ride a space horse. You can golf upside down on a miniature golf course. You don't need ping-pong balls to win a goldfish. Pluck one from the air, whichever you wish. The prizes are endless. The fun never stops. Swirl in the funhouse with a huge lollipop. And when you've done all the riding to do, when the dragons have been flown and the popcorn's been chewed, look straight up. The giant Ferris wheel. Is waiting for you. A blue light shines from the top of the wheel to let kids on Earth know that this place is real. There's one more thing that we almost passed: the rocket ship roller coaster. This thing moves fast, and it will take you back home. Hope you had a blast. It might be a while until you see another blue moon. A trip to Away We Go Land may not happen soon. "I mean, you just went to a carnival on the moon, golfed upside down, and ate cotton candy trees! And now you want to go back again, right away? Pshh! Please!" "Relax. Don't fuss. At least now you know. Next time you see a blue moon, away you must go." The end.
