Ryan Maloney draws an octopus character meant to look like Lil Yachty for Asher Roth's music video. He builds it in Procreate with every part on its own layer so animators can move the legs and eyes, though he's not sure the character will make the final cut since it wasn't in the original storyboard.

Chapters

This is a background character for the Asher Roth "Way More Fun" music video. <LYRICS>Baby, when you're ready, hit my line. Tell me what you want.</LYRICS> It's an octopus that I'm going to design to look like Yachty. I'm designing this character in Procreate. I design any part of the character that's going to animate on an individual layer. I hadn't planned for this character in my storyboard, so it'll probably just have some subtle leg movements and some eye blinks. There's also a chance that I won't use this character at all for the video, but I find if I design characters that I think other people will find funny, it makes a video way more fun. No pun intended.
