In this behind‑the‑scenes video, Ryan Maloney walks viewers through his workflow for creating a custom football helmet collage. He begins by disassembling the helmet and applying primer, then sketches directly onto the helmet surface, supplementing his ideas with quick digital sketches in Procreate and paper notes. Throughout the process he keeps reference images on hand to ensure logos and team details are accurate, and he records the entire build in a long‑form video that showcases each step from start to the finished helmet.

I took the helmet apart and then primed the helmet. The sketching process involved me drawing directly on the helmet, planning a little bit of the drawing on Procreate and paper, but mostly just letting the ideas flow out. And I managed to capture everything in a long-form video. I always have references up when I'm sketching because a lot of this I'm just spitballing, and I need to look back to make sure I have the logos right and to make sure I don't forget any teams. This is what the final helmet looks like.
