In this video, Ryan Maloney outlines his plan to create a series of 38 unique characters for a clothing line, treating the project like a toy line. Each character will be a wild animal themed around a sport, with an initial focus on six sports—hockey, baseball, soccer, flag football, wrestling, and lacrosse. This week I'm moving forward designing the characters for the clothing line I'm working on. I'm thinking of the characters as I would with a toy line, so I'm going to design 38 characters for the launch. All the characters will be wild sports-themed animals. I'll focus on 6 sports at first: hockey, baseball, soccer, flag football, wrestling, and lacrosse.
