Ryan Maloney stopped copying tutorial artists and started drawing what he actually liked. He realized the fear of judgment was holding him back. Pick subjects you enjoy, ditch any rule that doesn't work for you, and embrace your own weird style.

I used to watch drawing tutorials back in the day and I used to think I had to make my stuff as good as that person creating it. What would they say about it if they saw my work?
