Procreate tutorial on coloring large artwork fast. Put linework on its own layer, enable Reference mode, then use the Color Drop tool on a layer below to fill areas without touching the lines.

Here's an easy way to fill in colors on a separate layer from your linework. First, make sure your linework is on its own layer with no background. Tap the layer to bring up the layer menu, then select Reference at the bottom. Now, create a new layer, then pick it up and drag it beneath the layer with your linework. Now you can use Color Drop to fill in your colors on the new layer, and it will use the lines on the reference layer as a guide.
