Ryan Maloney shows how to turn a character drawing into a reusable stamp brush in Procreate. Start with a 3000 × 3000 pixel canvas, draw your character, invert it, export as PNG, and import it as the brush shape. Then max out stroke spacing, increase size, and set ink to black.

Here's how to make a stamp brush for your characters in Procreate. Create a 3000 by 3000 canvas at 300 DPI. Draw your character and fill the frame as best as you can. Then turn off the bottom white layer. Tap on the thumbnail in the layer and invert your drawing. Save that as a PNG. In the brush palette, hit the plus. Under shape, hit edit. Import, and import your photo. It'll look like this. Under Stroke Path, increase the spacing all the way, and under Properties, increase the maximum size. Now with your ink color set at black, you should have a character stamp brush set. If anybody knows any easier ways to make Procreate character stamp brushes, let me know in the comments.
