I use the FlipaClip app on the iPad. I find this to be the quickest app for drawing and moving items around. It's pretty basic and easy to pick up quickly. I create an animatic for almost every video. I use these to test out my ideas, communicate with clients. I'll often create animatics first and then work backwards and screenshot the animatic to make static storyboards.
