When I'm making complicated drawings in Procreate, I try to move as fast as I can to reduce the amount of thinking I do. 99% of the thoughts about how something isn't perfect are not valid. You're wasting your time not taking action because something isn't perfect. You'll look back on the things you create and realize that those things didn't matter at all. In fact, you might actually like the mistakes. You might get ideas from the mistakes. You're really only going to be as good today as your past experiences. You can't show up to a basketball court and start draining threes if you haven't practiced and done it a lot. I just think of all creation, as all of my art, as reps. Just get the reps done. Stop overthinking it. Soon you'll start to see glimmers of perfection. At that point, go back to the basics and start doing reps on something new.
