Here's a look at how I animate a scene for a music video. I import all my drawings from Procreate into Adobe After Effects. I use a combination of frame-by-frame animation that I've drawn in Procreate along with tweening in After Effects. I like to use limited drawings and use the tools in After Effects to shift around the body parts to add extra movement. You can see I was placing puppet pins on this character to get it to bend and morph. Animating can seem slow and frustrating because it is. But when you get your timing of your main character poses down, you can go back and smooth everything out.
