In this brief walkthrough, Ryan Maloney explains his end‑to‑end process for creating a graphic novel. He starts by drawing all artwork in Procreate, then exports the files as PSDs. Those PSDs are imported into InDesign where he assembles each page, positions the artwork, and sets up dialogue text that can be edited directly in InDesign. Any visual tweaks or art corrections are handled later in Photoshop. Throughout the workflow he works with a dual‑pen hand, a mouse, and two keyboards, joking that his cluttered desktop makes an ADHD diagnosis unnecessary. He also highlights a Velcro strip on his keyboard that saves time when swapping tools, noting its unsightly appearance.
