Reading my books at 2x speed

A monologue imagining a day when gravity stops working: trains soar, animals float, and shoelaces become lifelines. The speaker calls it loco and offers absurd survival tips for a weightless world.
Today I saw with my own two eyes a train off its tracks flying in the sky. I heard of cows jumping over trees and a gigantic river flowing right above me. Of course I saw flying cats and dogs, I saw floating snakes, caterpillars, and frogs. Even the worms would learn to fly, luckily so, when my neighbors died. My friends were bikes like they were airplanes, construction workers, duplications because of upside-down cranes. The zoo, well, forget it, it was just a mess. Have you ever seen the way this lion is? The happiest of things was like this feather bed, my toys all flying together. Think goodness for shoelaces because they held me down. The first time I slept floating off the ground. There's a word in Spanish, it means crazy, that word is loco, can happen to gravity. Gravity actually holds things down to planets like one big invisible super strong magnet. So imagine if for even one day the gravity slowly faded away. Jukes would magically rise from your cup, they're the only one hairstyle standing straight up. I bet your house would even float in space. Take my advice, tie down the shoelace. And if you see me float by, say hello on the day gravity goes loco.
