Here's how to self-publish and print your book on demand using Amazon KDP. I'm going to start with the things that tripped me up and took me the longest to understand, and then I will go to the basics. I'll probably make this a 3-part series. Every book needs an ISBN number. That's the barcode on the back of your book right here. You can either use your own ISBN number or have Amazon give you one for free. You can buy your own ISBN number from myidentifiers.com for $295 for 10 ISBNs. Or just buy one for $125. This will give you the most flexibility in distributing your book, but when I'm using KDP, I just go with the free one they give me. In the next video, we'll talk about the files to upload to get your book set up for printing.
