Ryan Maloney demos the X-Arm desk mount from XLayout, which clamps an iPad or phone to your desk without taking up surface space. He was skeptical it'd gather dust, but loves the satisfying click and how it keeps storyboards visible on his iPad while he works on the right side of his desk.

I didn't know I needed this. This is the X-Arm from XLayout. This mounts an iPad or a phone on your desk. I thought this might end up in a graveyard of other things like this that I've tried in the past, but I actually really like it. I like that click. The way I'm using it is keeping my storyboards over the left on my iPad while I work. Other things take up a lot of desk space. This takes up no space at all.
