Ryan Maloney spent three years writing his last book and found it mentally exhausting. For his next one, he's switching from Word and Pages to BookWiz, an app that embeds structural guidance to speed up writing. He's already saving time and sending feedback to the founders to help improve it.

This book took me 3 years to write and draw. It drove me crazy. So when I'm going to write my next one, I'm not going to write it in Microsoft Word or Apple Pages. I'm going to write it in something that guides me, something that has structure built into it so it speeds up the entire writing process. I'm using BookWiz to write the next version of this book. As I'm writing in BookWiz, I'm taking notes on the user interface, redesigning it, and sending ideas to the founders so they can improve the product for authors. It has a long way to go, but so far it's saved me a lot of time.
