A short YouTube monologue by a parent (speaker identifies having raised four children) describing the hard, chaotic moments of parenting—sleepless nights, frequent diaper changes, and hectic school-morning routines—and urging parents to pause and appreciate the current phase because they will likely miss it later. The speaker's practical advice: when a time feels hard, remind yourself you may miss it in the future and try to benefit from it now.

There's a lot of hard moments as a parent. It's not always easy. I mean, there's a lot of dirty diapers, both literal and figurative. But what I can say, having watched four kids go from infants up to scary adulthood, you will miss every single phase of that journey. You will miss the time when they were babies, even though you're absolutely miserable, they just won't let you sleep. You will miss when you are changing their diapers every seemingly, like, every five or ten seconds. You'll miss the time when you're trying to get everybody out the door for school. They're just bouncing off the walls and going all over the place, and you can't get everybody corralled. You're going to miss those times. And so when it's a hard time, try to pause and just say, you know what? There's a good chance that I will probably miss this one day, or I'll probably appreciate it one day. Because if you can do it in the moment, you'll benefit from it in the moment. You're almost certainly going to miss it in the future, so why not benefit from it today?
