Hi, this is Sachin Patel and welcome to episode number two of Perfect Practice. Today I'm going to be discussing what I feel is the most important element in growing and scaling your practice, but also in attracting the right clients that you want to work with, but more importantly, creating a life. So today we're going to talk about personal development. This is probably one of my favorite topics and the reason I enjoy talking about this is because I've seen firsthand the benefits of investing in yourself. And part of that self investment includes a variety of different elements, which is what we're going to be discussing today. So I'm excited to get into this. I'm going to try to keep this impactful. So if you're, even if you're listening to it in the background, that's totally cool. You're going to get a lot of value out of this. And these are all things I've learned from my personal experience experience. So I can speak to them, I can speak deeply into them. And I'm sure each and every one of you listening to this has a story that probably needs to be heard, you know, so if you're working with a coach, make sure your story is being heard by the people that you're working with. Because I find when I coach clients, what's really cool is hearing their backstory and going deep into their backstory because it's what drives them. And, you know, learning that inner journey, that hero's journey that each of you has gone through is part of your own personal development. Because when you can see where you are in your life on the hero's journey, there's always, always, always a brighter future. And one of my favorite mantras is that the best is yet to come. So let's get into this, let's dive deep into some of this. And you know, I'd love to hear your feedback. So if there's any feedback or input that you get or if this inspires you to take action and do something big, then leave us some feedback. So the first thing I want to always recommend to you and the first thing that we always want to be is authentic. We want to be authentic to ourselves. We want to be authentic to our message, and we want to make sure that we wake up every day, you know, just in that authentic alignment. So, as a chiropractor, alignment is very important to me. It's not just a figurative thing. Right. Of course, it's good to have proper physical alignment, but it's also good to have excellent and aligned emotional aspects of your health and life. So emotional alignment is also very critical. We have to feel good about what we do. We have to feel inspired every morning to take action and realize that we have the capacity and the capability of changing, you know, a dozen, a hundred, a thousand, and for some of you, a million lives with the work that you're going to do that day. So pretty cool stuff when you really think about it. So it starts with us. It always starts with us. One of the first things that you want to make sure you're doing is you're authentic. And then you're practicing what you preach, okay? So you are the brand. You have to live what you do. You have to love what you do, okay? And you have to make sure that you're inspired by what you do, and you have to look like you know what you're doing as well. So each of us has a journey towards health. And I, by no means have perfect health. There's really no such thing. The journey is something that we have to continue on. So it's not about being in a state because, you know, you don't live in the same state constantly. So there's no such thing as a healthy state because your state is constantly changing. So that's, you know, it's kind of something to keep in mind. But we have to be in that pursuit constantly. And if we want to attract people who are in that pursuit of developing themselves continuously, then not only will we have a new patient, but we'll have somebody who will stay with us, somebody who we can invest our time and energy into, somebody who we can watch develop as you mentor them towards better, better health and a better life. And you lead by example. That's probably one of the most rewarding elements, I think, that you get out of practice is working with people over many, many years instead of working with them acutely because, you know, you have the capability as a functional medicine practitioner and as a lifestyle coach to really develop these People over many, many years. Because if you attract people who are in a constant state of growth and seeking that constant pursuit because you are that person, then you're going to develop meaningful relationships and your patients become your friends, and there's nothing more special than that. So you want to also note that in order to pursue your own development, you have to make time to pursue your own personal development. Because if you're not doing that, if you don't have time to develop yourself, then what are you spending your time doing? And you know, personal development is not something that we separate from our day. It's something that's woven into our day. It's the thoughts that you're having, it's the words that you're using, it's the consciousness, the constant level of self awareness. That's what it means to develop yourself. You don't develop yourself by just meditating 10 minutes in the morning and then not paying attention to any other elements of your health the rest of the day. You have to be in a conscious state constantly, just like your body is. Right. If we want to align with innate intelligence, which is this life force, that life force never turns off. It's in a constant state of responding to the environment, your thoughts and your emotions. So if you try to separate time from what you do, okay, then you'll never have time. So this development has to fill every moment of our lives. In fact, I tell people, when you're sleeping, that's part of your personal development practice, right? Because sleep is super, super important. We know this for our patients, and we should be practicing what we preach. It's also important that you have a heightened state of awareness, a conscious state of awareness constantly regarding the words that you use. And there are certain words that I try to personally avoid. They might slip out occasionally, but I usually catch myself halfway through. And some of these words I think are worth noting. So one of them is incredible. I hear this word all the time, and I figuratively kind of throw open my mouth because I love analyzing words and what they mean. And unfortunately, the English language is very confusing. You ever try teaching a kid the English language? It's so difficult because it's such a broken language from a semantic standpoint. Anyways, I digress. But I think of the word incredible. It actually means the opposite of what you want it to mean. So what is the opposite of incredible? It's actually credible. So pay attention to when people use those words, because either they're just doing it out of habit or they have an unconscious incompetence regarding the language that they're using, another word is unbelievable. So if I'm trying to tell somebody that something is unbelievable and expressing myself that way, then it's the opposite of believable. So once you start paying attention to these types of words, you actually start having this consciousness towards not just what you're saying, but what other people are saying. And the language is quite powerful when used correctly. Keep in mind that all language is vibration. I can change the emotional state of another human being by vibrating air. That's all I'm doing, right? And of course, that person's interpreting that. The words that you use are extremely powerful. Spoken words are extremely powerful. But what's even more powerful than the spoken word is the thought word. So when you think of something you actually have, you give that thing so much more power than speaking it, because your brain is like an antenna. It's like a supercomputer propagates a signal into infinity. And so once you understand that, then you start to realize how powerful our thoughts are. And I'll just share this little story that I share with people that I coach. And I find it really interesting when you think of things this way. So one of the things, if you haven't checked it out, go to YouTube and check out just search cymatics and you'll see a vibrational plate. It's about a 2 1/2 minute video. Check out that vibrational plate and what you'll notice is as they increase the frequency of sound, the sand organizes itself in more and more complex ways. So as we increase frequency, we increase complexity. Now, keep in mind, the human ear can only hear certain sounds, so we hear a certain range. If we could hear everything, we would hear nothing because all we'd hear is noise. Just like if you could see all the spectrums of light, you would not see anything. You'd be blinded by all of them. So our ear filters sound between 20 hertz and 20,000 hertz. And so what you have to watch this video for is realizing that when we increase the vibration of the sound, we increase the complexity of how the sand organizes itself. It's pretty. It's pretty amazing. But what you'll notice is just changing the frequency a little bit completely changes the shape. So one shape at one vibrational frequency and another at a slightly higher vibrational frequency completely reorganizes the sand. I wish you could see it right now while I'm showing this and I show this to my patients and I show this to, you know, my clients because it helps them Understand how powerful their thoughts are. So what we notice from this is that as frequency of sound increases, the complexity of the shape increases. So, you know, we could extract from that. That if I were to increase the complexity of something, I would. It would be. Have to be organized with a super, super high frequency, okay? So think about that for a moment. The higher the complexity of a matter organizing itself, the higher the frequency. So now think about something that. Think of anything that's more complex than the human mind, okay? So let that sink in. If complexity is correlated with frequency, the most complex thing that we can think of is the human mind, which means that it must be vibrating at the highest frequency, okay? So complexity and frequency are directly correlated with one another. Now, what you have to realize is that just like sound can change a physical response in somebody's body, sound can change somebody's emotion. Sound can change somebody's life. Just vibrating air can change somebody's life. Like I'm vibrating air right now, and you're listening to it, and I have the capability of changing your life. So imagine the power of your thoughts, because think about it right now, this is the word is vibrating at a very low frequency, at a frequency that we can hear. So imagine the power of vibrating something at a much higher frequency. So you actually have infinite capability. And this is something that is probably kept from you, right? My son and I, he's seven at the moment. And, you know, I try to telepathically communicate with him. And some people might raise their eyebrows and say, you're nuts. Well, here's the thing. Here's the truth. The only reason you develop that skill is if you truly believe you have it, okay? And I truly believe we have this skill and this capability, but I believe we have to develop it over time. So I try to communicate with him and try to send messages to him and note his responses. And here's the thing. It doesn't work every time, but it works enough that it's freaky. And so once you believe in that, you can start developing it. When I want my wife to call me, what I actually do is I tell her to call me in my head. And guess what? Eight times out of ten, she calls me. This happens all the time. It's probably happening to you right now. You're just not paying attention to it. Think about this. When you think of somebody, they shortly afterwards send you a text message, or they email you, or they call you, and what do you say? Oh, my God, that's crazy. It's actually not crazy. It's how it works. But when you use the word crazy, when you apply that emotion to that event, then what you're saying is that it's just a sheer fluke. It's not something that you actually created. So I know maybe this is going off the deep end for some of you guys, but I just got to tell it like it is, because this has been part of my personal development journey, and these are the things that I've learned. And once I've learned how to tap into this, that's what's allowed me to grow my mission, my vision, what I believe is possible exponentially. Have I accomplished those things? No, because our vision has to intersect with time, right? I have realistic timelines, right? And so if my vision is 10 years out, well, it must be a pretty big vision. And so I want you guys to start understanding. And gals, I know there's probably more women listening to this than men, actually. But what I want you to do is I want you to truly pay attention to the words that you speak, the words that you think. Okay? And realize how confusing and backwards the English language is. So you study semantics. This is what I call semantic sabotage. The words that we use when. When used inappropriately, okay? I'm not talking about spelling mistakes. I'm talking about clear misuses of the word, okay? So the word, like, unbelievable. The word incredible. Listen to how often people use these words and tell me how often it's the exact opposite of what they're trying to say. So you're actually creat the exact opposite reality. And you might say, well, it doesn't matter. Well, go back. Go back and watch that cymatics video. Because what you'll see in the cymatics video is that changing the frequency slightly of the sound, which is imperceptible to the ear. It doesn't sound very different. The shape completely changes. The only reason you know, the sound change is because you actually see this shape completely transform. So go check it out. It's super, super powerful. And, you know, this is probably the most intense stuff that I'll cover, right? But this is where it all starts. Because the thoughts you have will create an organized matter. That's the capability the brain has to organize matter. We see this happening all the time. We're just convinced that it's crazy, it's nuts. Try it. Some of the things that I have, my clients do. This might help you in proving this is the next time you think of somebody, email them first, okay? The next time you think of somebody, text them first. The next time somebody pops into your head randomly, guess what you're popping into their head, Call them first and tell me if that doesn't increase your business or your success or your influence or improve the nature of your relationships, I challenge you to do that. And every client I've ever had do that, who's done it, especially if they're entrepreneurs, has increased their revenue. Okay? If you're thinking about somebody, you don't know what to say, just thank them, okay? There's a reason that person popped up into your head and watched the magic transform. They're going to tell you nine times out of ten. I was just going to email you, I was just going to text you. I was just thinking about you. And what do you say to that? You don't say, that's crazy. You say, I know, I was thinking about you too. Okay? And watch what happens in your life. All right, now the next thing I want to talk about is the abundance mindset. Very important that you have an abundance mindset. There are certain characteristics of people who have an abundance mindset. The first, and you know, there's really no order. They're all important. But the first one I want to talk about is gratitude. Okay? So gratitude is super huge. And you can be grateful for things that have happened or you can be grateful for things that haven't happened yet. Okay? And that's truly a thing, right? So if, if somebody tells you, hey, I've got a hundred thousand dollars, I'm going to put this in, you know, a mutual fund which is going to have a 10% return. You get excited about something that hasn't even happened yet, right? So why do you get excited about that and think that's okay and not get excited about what could happen as well? So you want to have gratitude backwards and you want to have gratitude forwards. Gratitude forwards is appreciation. Okay? You know, tell your staff members you appreciate them. Just send them all an email and tell me how that goes, okay? Appreciation is huge and very, very important. Gratitude is also very important so you can appreciate what you have when you wake up in the morning and be grateful for all the things you accomplished in the evening. It's good to have a journaling practice. You know, I've been on and off about that. I do write every single day. There's a special connection between your writing hand and your brain and your emotional well being. So I write every single day. I carry a journal with me everywhere I go. To me, that's more important than my backpack with my laptop in it. So If I had to choose between my laptop and my notebook, I would take my notebook. It's filled with ideas and information and just things I'm grateful for. Just a powerful, powerful tool to write things down. So journal every. You should write every day. Gratitude journal as often as you can. What I did, and I get this from my friend Chip Franks, who I get to see this weekend. Actually, what I did was I actually took his idea and I set a gratitude timer, an appreciation timer, every single day at 7 o'. Clock. So every day at 7 o', clock, wherever I am, whoever I'm with, that alarm goes off and I ask that person if I'm with. Hopefully it's with my family. 85, 90% of the time, it's with my family. The 10%, it's, I'm traveling. So whoever I'm with doesn't matter. No shame, no embarrassment. It's something I'm proud of. I ask them what they're grateful for, and I say what I'm grateful for. And it's pretty cool to see that. And now my son hears the alarm. He knows instantly. And the first thing he says, I'm grateful for God. And. And it's funny, the reason he says, he says that he's smart because, you know, his understanding is that God is infinite. God is in everything. So he covers everything. He covers all of his bases. So it's just super cute to see that every day and develop that practice. Okay. Important for your legacy to teach your kids these types of things. If they view the world as abundant, because you truly view the world as abundant, then amazing things start happening. Another thing about people who have abundance mindsets is they think in exponentials instead of increments. So, you know, I learned this from people I hang out with, people I follow on YouTube, people I get to sometimes meet in person. So you don't know who Peter Diamandis is. You probably want to look into him. You know, he's done some pretty amazing work. And, you know, he's the founder of. He wrote a book called Abundance. He wrote a book called Bold, and he's one of the co founders, you know, of some pretty big projects that are going on right now. And one of them is Singularity University. So, you know, he does a lot of cool things. So check him out. And, you know, one of the things that I learned from these people is to think exponentially. Think 10x, right? What. What does 10x mean? How much more work is it? It's probably not 10 times more work. It's probably 10 to 15% more work. But here's the thing. When you 10x something your vision, at least you do things differently. When you. When you think in incrementals, you do things better. You don't do things differently. That's what made Apple so successful. They. They didn't say think better. They said think different. Okay? That. And that's what can make you better, is, is to think different. Think in exponentials, and amazing things will start happening. And exponentials doesn't always have to be about money. Exponentials can be about the number of people that you help. Exponentials can be the amount of money that you donate or contribute, or it could be the number of people that follow you. I mean, certain things, some things can scale exponentially very easily. Some things can only scale, you know, incrementally. Okay? So think about the things in your life that can scale exponentially and focus on those things. Right? Don't. Don't worry about 10x in your practice. You can't do that unless you increase your overhead significantly and increase your stress levels through the roof. But you could increase your Facebook following exponentially. You could increase the number of people that watch your videos exponentially. Those things can be done exponentially, and that's the beauty of the world we live in. Another thing about people who have an abundance mindset is, you know, they. They're resourceful, okay? And what that means is, is they're not. They're not wondering why. Why don't I know this information? They're not wondering why me? They know who to turn to sometimes, or they know where to turn to to find answers. So Henry Ford was so successful because he was so resourceful. He wasn't particularly an academic, okay? But he knew who to call when he needed answers. He knew exactly who to reach out to when he needed to find out, you know, the solution to a problem. So guess what? It's good to have experts on retainer. It's good to have people that you can call that will shoot you straight, that will give you good answers. Not something that you want to hear, but the things that you need to hear. So be resourceful. You know, in a day and age where we live today, you know, it's easy for your employees to be resourceful. They can Google things, they can YouTube things. They can find the answers. They can crowdsource information sometimes if they need to. So it's important that you know if you're going to have an abundance mindset, that you follow these three attributes. One, you are always, always grateful and Appreciative for the things that you have, the things you have the capability to create. The other thing that you want to be mindful of is to be resourceful. Okay? And the last thing, and again, there's no particular order, so you can go in any order that you want. But the other thing with being an abundance mindsetted person is to have this constant state of awareness, to have this constant state of consciousness surrounding these principles and making sure that you're always thinking, you know, in exponentials as well. Okay? So I hope that helps. I hope that abundance mindset is something that you're practicing right now where you can work towards practicing. Okay? Now another thing that we have to be mindful of, especially in our personal development, is our sphere, which is who do we hang out with? Because who we hang out with changes everything. Okay? Imagine eating healthy and all your friends are making fun of you. Okay? Then imagine eating healthy and all your friends are eating healthy just like you. Okay? It's usually a wise idea to hang out with people who are like yourself. You know, sometimes we feel like, oh, what about my cousin? What about my aunt and uncle? Listen, you don't have to hang around with them all the time. You might have to meet them occasionally, right? But you still have free time to hang out with other people. Hang out with people who will support you, who will nurture you, who think like you, okay? You can't have somebody who's thinking 5% and somebody else who's thinking 500% in the same room, okay? Unless that guy who's at 5% is trying to learn how to get to 500%. That's the only time that those two people should be in the same room. So one person should be paying the other person is what I'm trying to say. Because there has to be an energy exchange that takes place there. But if you're surrounding yourself with people who think small, people who have a scarcity mindset, people who are, you know, are not abundance minded, people who come from a place of hoarding and greed and thinking there will never be enough, okay? You don't want to hang around with those people. Those people are going to be a thorn in your side, okay? So super critical. Who you hang out with matters super obvious. And you guys have probably heard this stuff, but the application of it is super important. Just like our patients, right? Our patients know what to do. They know they need to eat healthy. They know they need to avoid crap. They know they need to exercise and go to bed and sleep. You know, if they were practicing these things. They wouldn't need us to practice on them. Right? But that's just the way the world works. So, you know, practice what you preach, you know, what you're, what you're demonstrating to your patients. You gotta be doing yourself. The next thing is be very selective, you know, with that sphere of patience as well. So not just your friends, but be selective with the patients you hang out with, okay? They've gotta be abundance mind. If you start attracting people who don't have the right attitude, it's because you don't have the right attitude, okay? If you start attracting people who think with lacks and scarcity, you're going to attract. It's you that's attracting them, okay? If you think that way, you're going to attract people that way. You just essentially attract exactly who you are. So if you're, you know, some weeks you'll be on a hot streak, some weeks you'll be on a cold streak. So you got to ask yourself not what's wrong with the patient? Why isn't the patient taking action? You got to ask yourself, where in my life am I not taking action? Because you're essentially attracting people who are mirroring your vibrational frequency. Okay, Again, you have to believe that you have the capability of organizing matter. If you don't believe that, then you're going to kind of poo poo these, you know, some of these ideas we're talking about. The next thing in personal development is, of course, knowing yourself. And there's three. Three different tests, you know, really, there's four tests that I recommend each of you do. The first one is a disc score, and I'll go deeper into this, but we'll be sure to share where you can download this form. The discord divides you into, you know, four different behavior and, you know, emotional characteristics, if you will. The next one is a Colby A. And we'll go deeper into this as well. I'm going to interview experts in later podcast episodes that dive deep into this stuff. The next one is Colby A. So Colby A is essentially telling you about what kind of action you'll take. So that's dividing you into four different people. And there's no good and bad, right? So one score doesn't make you better than the other person. It just, it teaches you more about yourself and got to know more about ourselves. If we want to fix ourselves or if we want to learn about our gifts and our talents and utilize them in the best capacity, we have to know what those are. We have to Know what we're naturally gifted at and, you know, fill that role in our business or in an organization. The next one is the love language. You have to know how to reward yourself, okay? So, you know, and this is important for your team members as well. So, for example, if your team members love language is gifts, then buy them gifts, right? If, if their love language is acts of service, then figure out what kind of acts of service can your team do for this individual, because that's what's going to fill up their love bucket. And you want people to love where they work and what they do. The next one is your chronotype, okay? So you should know these all for really yourself and your team members and the people you hang out with. Your chronotype. This comes from sleep expert Dr. Michael Bruce. And what he talks about is that we have four, four different, you know, types of people in terms of how they're biologically wired, in terms of their clock. So some people are going to be better in the mornings, some people are going to be better late mornings, some people are going to be night owls and be better at night. You know, don't try to change this about yourself if that's who you are, because you're going to be fighting your own biology. Try to identify when it's best for you to do certain types of things. And so this is pretty cool because, you know, on our team we give people more autonomy because we understand when they're most productive. So, you know, one of my right hand man's, Tibby, if he's, you know, if he's a bear, for example, or a wolf and he likes to work at night, then I need to know that because he's going to do his best work at night. So having him come in early in the morning for meetings is probably not going to be the most productive thing. So knowing this about your teammates helps you utilize them in their role better. It helps you understand yourself better, helps you know when they're going to do their best work. It helps you in understanding how to reward yourself and also how to reward the people on your team, your loved ones. I mean, this spills over into everything that you do. So know, know thyself, super important. The disc score, the Colby A score, Love language score, and the chronotype. These are the four that I recommend that you look into. The next thing that I practice is controlling my space and my environment. And, and you want to try to practice the principles of feng shui. Feng shui is a very ancient art of organizing space and you know, there's a lot to it. I'm going to actually interview my feng shui consultant, Sid. She's a master planner, and she helps design buildings and all that kind of stuff. She's been to our offices and helped us organize our living spaces and also our practices. And so feng shui allows the natural flow of energy. So, you know, look into it. And I've written an article about how feng shui can be implemented into functional medicine practices. It's on our Living Proof website. So check that out and, and you can learn more about it. But organize the space around you. One of the things, big things in feng shui is to declutter. I'll just give you some tips. So one of the things that you want to do is download a bagua map, okay? And a bagua map is, is divide. It's a square or whatever the shape of your. Your living quarters are or room is, depending on, you know, if you're organizing your office space or your home, the bagua map you would lay over your. The blueprints of your office or house. And each of the nine squares represents a different area of your life. So, for example, the top left is wealth. Okay? So the bottom would be the door. The bottom center would be what's called the mouth of chi. That's where energy enters into the space. The top left would be wealth and prosperity. So I always tell people what's in that corner in your home. Some people have toilets. Some people love. They're remodeling their home, and they haven't finished that corner yet. And their wealth and prosperity is struggling. So you can look at relationships, and sometimes people's relationships are struggling because their home is cluttered in those areas. So sometimes matter organizes itself kind of around us to tell us what we need to do. So you could sometimes even diagnose somebody's health issues by looking at the living space that they're in. Certainly we know that if somebody lives in a very cluttered, dirty space, then the energy in that space is going to be much lower versus a space that has this energetic consciousness, you know, organized into it because of learning about these principles. So one of the things that you can also do is make sure there's nothing under your bed. You want that space to be clear. Okay. The things that go on underneath your bed are very critical to your healing and your patients healing while they sleep. So, you know, again, there's like hours and hours of. Of information about this that you can research, but look into that. I think that'll Be really helpful, really immediate changes that you can make. And just some of it might be just changing the way your chair faces or changing, you know, a painting on a wall. Like, you know, if it's supposed to be red, then, you know, don't put a blue painting there so you can learn about these things. And I'm very speaking about this very, very superficial. I actually know a lot about feng shui, but I don't want to get started here. So the next thing in your own personal development is getting the right testing, okay? You have to get the right testing. In fact, you should be showing your patients your tests. You should be selling your patients on the idea of getting tests. Because, I mean, you shouldn't be selling them, but you should be at least be showing them that you've done the testing so it's. You don't have to sell them, okay? By showing people what you're doing, people are gonna wanna know, what tests are you getting done, doc? Because I probably want those tests done. And it's easy to sell. Again, not sell, but it's easy to get people to buy into the idea that the testing has value, okay? You know, learn about yourself again, learn about yourself spiritually. Learn about yourself physically. Learn about yourself biochemically. You have to practice what you preach. If you want your patients to get tests done, then, you know, just get the testing done yourself and show them your results and follow the protocol. I don't recommend being your own doctor. That's actually the. You're the worst doctor and patient for yourself. The next would be your spouse. You know, get professional help. If you want people to come to you and pay for professional help, you got to pay somebody else for professional help, because that's what you're telling your patients to do. Again, practice what you preach. The next thing is you want to have an unfair advantage. Identify who that person is. Who is that person that you can always count on? For me, fortunately, it's my wife. For some of you, it might be your office manager. It might be a friend. Identify who that person is and spend the most amount of time with that individual. Your unfair advantage is somebody who picks you up when you're down. It doesn't have to be a whole village. It's just one person. That person you can call when you need anything could be your parents. It could be a sibling. It could be a co worker, it could be a friend. It could be, you know, again, your partner. So find out who that person is and, you know, just show them once in a while that you appreciate them, find out what their love language is and make sure their bucket stays full. And the last thing, probably the most important thing I would say, and I put it last because that was one of the last things that I did and I've been doing, is hiring a mentor. And it doesn't have to be someone you hire. Find a mentor. That's what I should say. Find a mentor somebody. And you could have a one way mentor. Like you can watch a bunch of Jim Rome videos or you can watch a bunch of Tony Robbins videos, but Tony Robbins has no idea about what's going on in your life, okay? So you need to have somebody that you can speak to who's, who's going to be unbiased. Usually if you're consulting with your friends, they're going to be very biased. That's just the way it is. So it's always good to have an outside person's objective opinion where there's some subjectivity because they should know your story, but it's mainly objective and they have your best interests in mind. I would definitely recommend finding who that person is in your life and, and making sure you keep them close. And here's the other thing. Your mentors will also change. If you've got the same mentors for the rest of your life, then here's what happened. You, you started off way too early, okay? Hiring that one person because there's so much you have to grow until you get to that person and where you can outgrow them. You want to hire somebody who's, you know, you want to follow people who are light years ahead of you, maybe 10 years ahead of you, let's say, or 10x ahead of you, whatever it is. But you also want to have somebody close to you, somebody who knows your day to day struggles a little bit more closely because they know what it's like now. You know, if that person was struggling 10 years ago, then the struggles aren't the same. Right? Think about how people's struggles have changed in the last 10 years. The reality of how people are struggling today is different than the reality that people had to face 10, 20, 30 years ago. So it's good to have somebody who's just a few steps ahead of you, you and have your eyes on somebody who's several steps ahead of you and make sure you keep those people close. Okay? So there are some people that can provide profound advice and wisdom. There's certain instructions we can shout from the mountaintop, right? So if somebody that you have as part of your Mentorship is at the top of the mountain. They can only shout directions. They can just inspire you to keep going and say, you got this. You got this. But somebody who's close to you can give you very specific directions and say, hey, put your foot right there. Put your hand right here. Okay? A mentor from the top of the mountain can't do that for you. You've got to find somebody who's in the trenches with you. So with that being said, I hope you found this information beneficial. I hope it resonated with you in a positive way. I hope it gave you some pause to reflect and think about how you can improve your own personal development. And if you are doing everything that you have the capability of doing in this moment to develop yourself, because everything reaches out from there, okay? So when we develop ourselves, our business grows, our relationships improve, our health improves, our possibilities, and our potential continues to grow at an exponential rate instead of an incremental rate. So when you develop yourself, and that pours into every single thing that you do, and this is the root of it, right? So if I water the roots of any plant, the water is going to get to every single leaf and branch and fruit that that plant produces, okay? So when we water the roots, which is us in this equation, then everything improves. So with that being said, thank you very much.
