Hey. Hey, what's up? It's Satchin. Hope you're super awesome Today. I've got a very special episode of Perfect Practice because we're actually going to be discussing our live event, Perfect Practice Live, which just happened last week and it's been a whirlwind of a week. I'm coming off some major, major epiphanies and, and just celebrating with our tribe the amazing results that people are having just a few days out of the event and how they're manifesting their own reality and destiny in such a short period of time. So it's been amazing to witness such growth so quickly, put smiles on people's faces and get people really to take massive action. I think that's what it's all about is getting people to take massive action, believing that the ideas that they conceive that come to them are achievable by them. They have to become the right person and then just be in a position where they're ready to receive. So I'm excited to share because Perfect Practice Live is a dream of mine and I just love helping other practitioners make their dreams come to reality. And that was the theme of the event, Dream. And we actually taught practitioners how to crystallize the vision that they have for themselves, for their practice, for their community, for their family, for, you know, their legacy that they're going to leave behind and how to bring that into fruition. So it was a fun event, super, super stoked for the next one. And if you haven't been to one of our events, I look forward to seeing you there. I promise they're the best events in the industry because we get people amped up from so many different perspectives. We have amazing clinical information, we have amazing business building information, marketing information, an amazing tribe. And then of course, we love to have fun. So that's what it's all about is having fun and learning and growing and laughing and crying. It's just super, super cool. So I hope to see you there at some point in the future if you've never been and if you have been, you know exactly what I'm talking about. So I thought I'd share some highlights. One of the things that our team does is we type up highlights from each of the speakers, and I literally have in my hand 16 pages of notes that my team typed up. So big shout out to Julie, Alice and Carol for putting this document together for us. Because, you know, I was not in a position to write everything down because I'm running around doing all kinds of stuff. So it was nice to see some of these big takeaways being shared. And of course, we share this with people that were at the event because they may have missed something. And this is a way for them to print out these things and reference them in the future. So there were so many things that I could highlight, but I'm just going to give you a few of them and, you know, just really try to see if I can bring you into that space. You might be hearing it in the background. I've got some calm piano music playing in the background. So another thing that I've learned over the last few months is if we can get the nervous system into a calm, relaxed state, then it's more able to make smarter decisions and we have control over it at that point as well. So super, super, huge, you know, big takeaway for me. And it was cool how, how I got to present. I didn't have any slides. I was simply speaking and I had classical music playing while I was speaking. So it was my own, like, personal development video happening, you know, in situ. So it was kind of fun. Anyways, let me share some of the highlights so that you can, you know, take some of these things back with you and start implementing them. A big thing that's super important for us to be is here now. And Ram Dass said this, you know, be present in the moment now so that you can later be present for your patients and be present in everything that you do in every practice of your life. You know, if you're gonna live your dream life, wouldn't you want to be present in that dream life? So, of course, mastering being present is a part of living out your dream. Your dreams should be magnetic. They should pull you out of bed each and every single morning. And it's not until you cultivate your dream and really crystallize it in your mind and focus on it obsessively will you actually bring it into fruition. And this dream should be a dream day or a dream life that you're pulled out of bed every morning, you're magnetized by it, and it excites you. You actually wake up before the alarm. Okay, that's what your dream should be. You can, you know, write this dream down. We actually did an entire exercise on how to do this. Writing your dream down, detailing the day, the actual dream day, and bringing that into fruition is very easy once you know what that is. Most people don't know what that dream day looks like for them. They've never written down, they've never focused on it, they'd never paid attention to it in an obsessive, compulsive way. And I say that in a positive way. Of course we should be. You know, we should have a magnificent obsession, as Jim Rohn says, towards bringing this dream into fruition. And the things we think about certainly will expand. Now. One of the things that we think about is adding value into people's lives. And it's important to recognize that we can only add value into people's lives if we share the same values. So your dream day should include adding value into people's lives and spending time with people who share the same values as you, because then you can add even more value into their lives. And I also believe that if you put the right intention into what you're doing, you will never go hungry. My father taught me this at a young age. He said, you know, you know, if you're good at something, work on being the best at that something, whatever it is, whether it's doing this podcast, whether it's, you know, being a clinician in practice, whether it's, being, you know, a father or a brother or a son, whatever it is, just focus on being the best version of that person playing that role than you can be, and you'll never go hungry. The universe rewards this type of behavior. I also talked about, you know, scarcity versus abundance and the difference between abundance minded people and scarcity minded people, and gently reminded everyone that really, the only thing we should be worried about in terms of scarcity is human ingenuity. So I don't worry about resources running out. I worry about human ingenuity running out. And that's what's happening, right? We're being conditioned to think in a certain way. Somebody else controls our nervous system, makes us think and behave in certain ways and focus on certain things that may be, you know, destructive towards our own best life and our dream life. So focus on human ingenuity and the way that we increase human ingenuity is a couple ways. One is by increasing human consciousness, getting people more parasympathetic, so they're in that ingenious part of their mind, if you will. And then the other thing that we want to do is we want to increase population. So actually increasing population and increasing human consciousness is the way to increase human ingenuity and solve all of our problems. And all data has pointed to the fact that the more we increase population, the more we increase ingenuity. So decreasing population actually decreases human ingenuity. The other thing is we can only help people that are willing to help themselves. And you know, we want people who show up like a nice hot cup of coffee. And our job is to take the bitterness out of that cup of coffee and add some cream and sugar, hopefully dairy free cream, and maybe your favorite natural alternative sweetener like stevia or monk fruit, if that's your thing. But really that's how we want our patients to show up. That's how we should show up every day for whoever we need to be present for is let's work together and sweeten the cup for each and every person we work with. And this brings me to a next point, which is the people that you're going to work with, you know, are people that should spiral you upwards, not downwards. You know, you should feel energized after every interaction that you have. And I know that's wishful thinking, but again, this is your dream, right? So you can, can bring that into reality and that might end up being 80, 20, but it's better than 20 80. So you should spiral upwards with every interaction that you have. And if people don't spiral you upwards, then guess what, it's okay to cut them out of your life. It's okay, because if they're spiraling you downwards, they're not spiraling upwards, they're spiraling downwards as well. So this could be a mutually beneficial situation if you stop hanging around with those people. Very simple. And you know, people who spiral you upwards are going to elevate you, they're going to increase your frequency and they're going to increase your capabilities of drawing into your life that dream that you want to come to fruition. So spiral upwards with the people you hang out with. Super, super, super important. And you know, one thing I also discussed was that we currently live in an experiential era and people want to know, you know, have you worked with people like them? And if you have, then that's important to them, you know, we don't live in an information era anymore. People want to know that you have experience working with people just like them. And here's the thing. We'll only get experience, meaningful experience, if we work with people who a, share the same values as us and B, follow our recommendations, actually listen to what we tell them to do, because if they don't, they're not going to get results. And if you don't get results, then it's going to be hard for you to say, yes, I've worked with people like you and actually helped people like you. So make sure that you know, you're working with people that are congruent with your values, people who actually follow your recommendations, people that you can actually help that will gain you experience. And that experience is far more valuable than information. Information is approaching zero, right? It's free to get information that used to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars of education and essentially years of your life, which is going to medical school, chiropractic school, naturopathic school. Now people can get that information and even in more detail than we learned it in school for free. So people want to know, do you have experience? Not do you have information? They can get information anywhere they want. And so those are some, you know, really big key takeaways that we opened with. Actually, that was just the opening message. And we also started working on an avatar. So we had a customer avatar that we work through. And you know, knowing your avatar is super vital to your success. We had a whole worksheet, like a, of six page worksheet that we gave everyone and when you know who you're communicating to, not just demographically, but psychographically. And psychographics are more about behaviors than circle. Demographics are more about circumstances like, you know, what school they went to, how old they are, where do they live, you know, what's their address. That kind of stuff is demographics. Psychographics is what are, what is their behavior. You could have, you know, 10 homes on the same street probably earning the same average income and maybe same body composition, not family composition rather. And each of these people are going to have different things in their homes. They're going to, you know, some people are going to very expensive art collections. Some people are going to have lots of televisions in their home. Some people are going to have a huge library collection. Some people are going to have a huge DVD collection. So their values are going to be different, even though their demographics might be very similar. So you have to know who your avatar is in specific details. You have to be able to clearly visualize that person so that you can actually bring that person in, in draw that person into your office and magnetize them into your office simply by thinking about these individuals. And you want more and more and more and more people just like that person, but you have to speak that person's language. So a great example that Fabio gave is that, you know, one of our clients, Lorraine, her client's average income is over $500,000. And that's the type of person that she's trying to attract into her office. So what do those people love? They love golf, they love tennis, and they love traveling internationally. So you can target people based on their behaviors and communicate directly to them. You could talk about, you know, ways to improve your golf game, ways to improve your tennis game. You know, what are the supplements you should take when you travel, for example, so you can speak to that individual very specifically when you understand who they are. Another thing we had at the event was Dr. Jared. He was speaking about CBD and he gives a great presentation on all the benefits that CBD has to offer. Our beautiful bodies. And, you know, plant medicines were really heavily discussed during our presentations. We talked about psilocybin, we talked about cbd. You know, we talked about, of course, traditional nutrition, we talked about medicinal mushrooms. Like there's so many things that can benefit us from the plant and fungal kingdom. And of course, we wanted to talk about those at this event because we feel that nature has provided us with so many amazing solutions. If you're wondering, our practice recommends xylase, which is a water soluble form of cbd, has a super high absorption rate, super pure, full spectrum, never an isolate, CO2 extracted, and it's third party tested for certificate of authenticity and purity. And so we use that brand. If you'd like more information, we're happy to share a link where you can actually join our team. You know, we have a big team that we're building and many of our team members, in fact, I believe all of them are actually other healthcare providers because this is going to be part of the healthcare wave of the future. I did talk about a few other things, such as competency levels. I talked about unconscious incompetence, conscious incompetence, conscious incompetence, and conscious competence. And so these are the four different levels of competency. And you can learn more about this in my previous podcast where I discuss this in more detail. But of course, I wanted to bring this to the attention of all the attendees that were there. We had a couple of other speakers that Day being Friday, one was Jared Yellen from Synduit, and I did a whole podcast and episode with him regarding a new program that we're launching called the Living Proof marketing program. So if you go to www.livingproofmarketing.com, you'll be able to learn about this program we've put together where we've actually given you all of our top producing funnels. So funnels like our 30 and 30 funnel, our thyroid funnel, our autoimmune funnel, our digestion funnel, funnels, all of this is given to you and deployed for you with a click of a few buttons. And Jared went deep with that. He also helped us create a one year marketing plan, which is super awesome. Another event that we had later in the day was also planning for private labeling. So we had Nicole Willis and Jordan Boxer from Designs for Health share with us the power of private labeling. And they've put together this really, really cool course that helps you private label their products and teaches you how to get them off the ground and get more people taking higher quality nutritional support products so that they can start feeling better and, you know, add some residual income into your bank account. Why wouldn't you? People are buying supplements and you're helping them make better decisions. Why shouldn't they be buying them from you? And if you can private label something, you know, hey, you can raise the price if you want to, or hey, you can even lower the price if you want to. So you have control, full control over the price and designs for health, you know, you know, definitely, I'll plug them because they've done a lot of positive things for our industry. You know, they've got a great, great private labeling program. So definitely look at their product private labeling program and reach out to them and mention perfect practice. Mentioned Sachin Patel and Nicole Willis and Jordan Boxer, and they'll take really, really good care of you. Now, we closed up that day with Andrew, and Andrew is our high performance coach. And we discussed the power and the science of showing up. And so it's really cool what Andrew does. And I'm gonna have him on here doing an entire podcast on high performance for functional medicine practitioners. But he does a great job, you know, teaching practitioners how to show up for their patients. You know, how do you, how do you show up for yourself and how do you really take your practice to the next level? By coming in as the highest version of yourself. One of the things that Andrew will tell you is that he's trained by Brandon Burchard, which is one of the highest Energy people, people on the planet I've ever met. And Andrew brings that same level of intensity and energy with him as well. And my. One of my favorite quotes from Brandon is that the power plant doesn't have energy, it generates energy. And we are that power plant. And when we show up in the right way, in the right form, in the right energy and vibrational frequency for our patients, they're magnetized to that, they're gravitating towards that. Remember, what we want, wants us. So if you want that patient to become a client of yours, you know, they've gotta want you as well. Well, then you've got to show up in the way that they want you to. So pretty cool. Amazing information that he shared and you know, it was very fascinating because a lot of people in his presence just feel more energetic, they feel inspired and they feel motivated. And that's why I'm going to have him on to do an entire presentation for us. We started the next morning on Saturday with some priming and some meditation and some dancing and of course having tons and tons of fun. But we also started off on a serious note with Dr. Bob Rakowski, who's a, you know, a samurai when it comes to presentations. Just a huge wealth of knowledge and just an amazing individual and stand up human being in general. And so he talked about some of the amazing benefits of ganoderma reishi mushroom. He went pretty deep into this and you know, shared with us how ganoderma helps with Parkinson's disease disease, how ganoderma helps with preserving the pancreas. Okay. And reducing the likelihood of type 1 diabetes, how it protects against chemo induced heart damage and protects the kidneys against certain medications and enhances the effect of radiation when it comes to liver health. So all kinds of amazing studies he cited from PubMed. He also talked about the quality of life and lean tissue breakdown that ganoderma helps with in chemotherapy patient. There's 11 different types of cancer that ganoderma has proven to work against. And in 60 to 90 days of Ganoderma you can eradicate HPV. So just like really mind blowing stuff. And you know, if you're not on the mushroom bandwagon, I definitely suggest that you at least try Reishi coffee. And so if you go to www.buyreshi coffee then you can at least get on the bandwagon and start learning more about this powerful tool that we have. Of course, reishi comes in capsule form. You can get the spores and the mycelium however you get it. I suggest that every Single person listening to this podcast should be using some form of medicinal mushroom, whether it's reishi, turkey tail, lion's mane, cordyceps, or any other mushroom that you feel is relevant to you. There's five that I take every single day, so it's chaga, lion's mane, turkey tail, cordyceps, and reishi. Those are the five I take every day. And of course, I take my reishi in my coffee, beverages and teas, and I also take it in the powdered form and in a capsule form, depending on what form I'm trying to get. So Dr. Bob knocked out of the park and, you know, just really painted a picture of the current state of affairs when it comes to health and wellness and simple things that we can do to make the world and our bodies a much better place, one of them being ganoderma. Now, I jumped back on and started talking about, you know, the difference between two different types of people, multipliers and extractors. And extractors are people who are trying to suck everything out of something else. So sucking all the juice or squeezing all the juice out of an orange, which is almost impossible to do, there's always going to be a little bit left. And so these people live in a constant state, state of disappointment. Whereas if you're a multiplier, you're going to take. You're going to juice that orange as much as you can, but what you're also going to do is you're going to take the seed from that orange and you're going to plant an orange tree and you're going to have unlimited oranges for the rest of your life. So that's an abundance mindset, right? It's a delayed gratification mindset. You're going to get what you can, but you're going to plant a seed into the future, and that seed is going to pay off, you know, over and over and over again. So you live truly in an abundance. We also had a very special speaker, Majeet. Come on. And Majeet is a expert speaker. He runs the Expert Speaker Institute, and he gave a Knock it out of the park presentation. It is super funny, super impactful, super memorable, and I can't even do it justice. You have to watch it. So if we ever release the events to the public, this is. I mean, buying the videos would be worth this. I mean, it would be worth it just if you got to watch this talk. So Majeet's going to be helping us in our mentorship and helping some of our clients build out their signature talks. And he talks about some of the things that I say. Marketing is storytelling. Sales is persuasion. The better you tell your story, the less you have to sell. I learned something from Joe Polish, and he learned. Majid learned this from me. He gave me the credit. But the two credit for me goes to Joe Polish. And so really cool stuff. Storytelling is super, super powerful. Later on that day, we had Ricky BRAR Go on. Dr. Brar shared his experiences from his first 500 patients. And, you know, he went into the clinical management side of things, patient management side of things, really, you know, a 3M approach with patients, which is metabolism, movement, and mindset. And he dove a little bit deeper into each of those, and he talked about how to avoid clinician burnout. Avoiding clinician burnout means working with people that value you and people are who, who share the same values and people who, you know, prioritize their health, just like you're prioritizing their health and they don't drain your battery. Later on that day, we had a few other expert speakers. We had Jennifer Isolo come and talk about alchemy and how alchemy is a theory of everything. And she talked about how shifting our brain function and mindset can alchemize our dream practice. She talked about meditation and also a healing prescription for practitioner. So really, really cool stuff. Later on, we had Natalie Morse go on, and Natalie talked about, you know, earning residual income, how powerful earning residual income is, and how meaningful it can be for somebody, especially practitioners who are stuck in a client by client, visit by visit model. It's hard for you to earn an income that way if you want to travel or if you want to take some time off or if you want to go on mat leave, whatever it might be. So having some residual income can be extremely powerful for you and your family. We had Dr. Shelley Sethi come on and talk about how to increase client retention and get more referrals. I'm sure anyone listening to this, if you're listening to this podcast, you're probably wanting to get more referrals. You're probably wanting to, I'm sure, help as many people as humanly possible. And so, you know, cool thing is with Shelley shared her exact formula that she's used, and that was amazing because, you know, really simple strategies can help you get more referrals. I mean, acknowledge the people that are referring to you, spend some time, have some lunch with them, connect with them. And guess what? That just amplifies. You know, it just amplifies when you acknowledge people for what they're doing. And then also be a good referrer. If you want to get referrals, then be good at referring people elsewhere. That's going to have a huge impact on, you know, just your overall, you know, community contribution. And it's the right thing to do. You know, referral, refer to experts. And guess what? Experts will refer to you when they don't know what to do with the patient and position you as an expert. And so this is the end of Saturday. We actually had an expert panel of some of my mentees come up and share some of their big wins that they've had. So I'll share some of those with you guys because I thought that they were quite valuable. So we had Dr. Dyer share how he's built a stronger business, spending more time with his. His family. And the thing that really changed for him was having a mentorship available to him, changed his mindset. Miranda Summer came on and she talked about how, you know, shifting her mindset made such a huge difference for her. And now she's had the best health of her life. She's had the most energy she's ever had, and she's only getting started. We had John Tate come on, and he talked about, you know, how he changed his habits for the better, and now he's reaching better business milestones. He's spending time with his son more now. He just had a baby boy a year ago and, you know, he's engineering his dream business. Robert came on and talked about the essentials of being coachable. So no matter who you work with, hopefully it's me at some point, but if it's somebody else, if you're working with somebody now, be coachable, be teachable. You know, that teachability factor is huge to your success. And of course, what we focus on expands. So if you focus on opportunity, opportunity is going to expand. If you focus on work, work will expand. If you focus on how, then how will expand. If you focus on what, then what will expand. So we always say focus on what, not how, because if you focus on what you want to create, you're creating it already. And then the next thing Indika said was the biggest barrier for her was living her fullest life. And now she's experiencing amazing returns on her investment in terms of putting her work out there, and people are responding to it. And she's had an amazing support, support and benefit from being part of the mentorship, and she is actively manifesting her dream. And then we had Aaron come on and talk about how he's, you know, you know, now charging a fair fee for him and his patients. He had lost faith in what he was doing and now he's regained power and it's empowering him to charge what he's worth, what his clients time and energy is worth, and what his training is worth. So that was pretty powerful transformation. And Natalie came on and she talked about, you know, how it's been rewarding working with a mentor. The connections that she's built and, you know, the connections that she's built help her overcome her own personal challenges. And Dr. Christina came on and talked about, you know, having a supportive, heart centered group is game changing for her and transformational for her soul. So these are people that came on and kind of edified, you know, the benefits of working with a mentor, working with a coach. And certainly I hope that many of you listening to this are, you know, going in that direction where you are looking to hire someone. You know, if you are, then I'm certainly happy to help. I'm certainly happy to, you know, offer some of my time to advise you to see if we're a good fit. You can go to lpimentorship.com and learn more about what we do. But I always suggest, you know, talk to a few people and make sure that the mentors that you're hiring aren't just people who are living one area of their life and they're doing well at it, like making good money in their practice. What is the rest of their life like? Are they contributory in nature? Do they share the same values as you? Are they somebody who maintains healthy relationships? Look at all of these different elements of that person's life. And there's lots of great mentors out there. I've had many, but these are some of the things that I look for. Is this person successful in all areas of life or in just a few areas of life? So starting out Sunday morning, we started talking about, you know, the practices of being successful. And you know, one thing that I've learned over the years, it's not the things that we touch that turn to gold, it's the things that we love that turn to gold. And you know, if I could give one piece of advice to all of you, that is love, you know, love what you do, love the people you do it for, love the people you do it with and watch what happens. Amazing, amazing things start happening for you. We also talked about a really simple exercise at the event, which is half versus elf. Make a list of the things that are hard, annoying, lame and frustrating. And then the things that are easy, lucrative and fun and start doing more of the things that are easy, lucrative and fun and start hiring people or, you know, hiring vendors that can take care of the half stuff for you. According to Brandon Burchard's study of 2 million high performers, 60% of your day should be doing the things you love, and 40% may be the things that you don't love so much. And I would postulate that if you can get to 90 10, you're going to be a much happier human being. And the goal is to get to that point or as close to 100% of the day doing what you love as possible. But, you know, the highest performers in the world only do what they love 60% of the time. So you're not going to love every aspect of your job. But the more you can love, the better. The next two talks were from Fabio Suarez and Uli Isterlo. And they went pretty deep into marketing strategies. And these are talks that you actually had to be there for. And we're going to have them on doing entire presentations for you guys. So I'm going to, I'm going to skip over this part because I'm actually going to do a podcast with Fabio and with Uli, diving deep into this. But to give you an idea, just to tease you a little bit, Fabio talked about marketing that converts and Uli talked about the magic of that, the follow up 10 Ways to Amplify the effectiveness of your marketing. And he showed us how to create preeminence and follow up with people so that they actually take action, because that's the key. If you don't follow up, there's no fortune. So make sure you're doing that and make sure you check out the work that Uli's doing, the work that Fabio's doing, because they can really help you grow your practice. Now, I also did a interview with David Bennett prior to this and we shared this in our mentorship, but he went pretty, pretty deep into automation. So Dr. David Bennett's a colleague of mine, chiropractor, and he's also an attorney. So really, really cool background story with him. But, you know, one of the things that Dave taught us was the basics of emr, CRM, email schedulers, and also online scheduling and using apps like Boomerang and Zapier to, you know, really automate and optimize your efficiencies. So this was a presentation that's hard to find, vocalize through a podcast. But Dave showed us, you know, some really cool steps and Processes that he's put in place to optimize the efficiency of his practice. And when you do that, you know, when you increase efficiency, one of the things that happens is you start increasing profit. You start increasing, you know, free time, time with your family. I mean, those are all good, good things. Later on that day, we also had Dr. Buddy Ticinski, who's a great friend of mine. He and he talked about how to improve the flow of your practice without losing your mind. He shared a great program that he uses called Mind Map to map out his entire process. So it's www.mindmup.com and Mind Mupp is a way to, you know, draw your mind map and to, you know, you can attach Google Docs to it and stuff like that to each of the processes. So it's a really, really cool app that he uses and he just shared with us the process through which he maps and out his entire patient journey. Really cool, really efficient and very, very, you know, timely because a lot of people have it in their head. But this is a way for you to draw it out on a computer so other people can see it and you can also draw it out on a whiteboard like I would probably do, and then transfer it to the computer. So very powerful tool. And then we also had Dr. Raika come on and Dr. Raika talked about the challenges of overcoming being a functional medicine practitioner. She's moved several times, so there's been some challenges there. And really changing her mindset and improving and optimizing her marketing and getting clarity on her avatar are things that have really helped her. But the thing that helped her the most is having a tribe and leveraging her champions. And that's the beauty of being in a mentorship. That's the beauty of having a tribe because you know that's going to help lift you up and help you take things to the next level. So that was a very, very high level overview of some of the things that we learned at our last event, Perfect Practice Live. And I hope to see you at one of the future events. I hope you got some value out of this. There was a lot of aha moments for all of us that were there. Some of these things you truly, truly, truly had to be there. So they're hard to vocalize even. And, you know, I try to be excited about this, but I'll definitely be super excited when I see you in person at a future event. We don't have the dates released for the next one. Depending on when you're listening to this but you can always check out www.perfectpracticelive.com and that'll have the updated dates and information and everything on it. So, hey, hopefully I'll see you there. Have an amazing, amazing rest of your day.
