It helps you stay engaged, it helps us really retain those key points. So would you please type your notes in the chat that will help us see what you're determining to be the most useful information. So stay with us. Welcome. Good morning. And without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome to the digital stage, Sachin Patel.
Thank you, my friend. It's such an honor. And thanks for the amazing introduction. Thank you for everyone who's joining us today. I'm super thrilled to be sharing this information with you and excited and honored to host you. So thank you, thank you, thank you. And let's get started. I know you're all here because you're excited to learn and grow and to expand your presence in the world. And there's never been a better and more important time for us to do that. And then absolutely right now, so If I could get a confirmation that you can see my screen, that would be amazing. You see it? Okay, perfect. All right, so perfect practice online experience. Let me tell you this amazing, amazing story. So we had an event planned, as many of you know, in Toronto and COVID 19 hit and our team had to pivot and shift this from an in person event, three day event, more work than planning my wedding, and shift it to online. And so the theme of this event, as Mujeet said, is the growth beyond the brick and mortar. It's the expansion of our mission beyond the brick and mortar. And that's what the objective is of this weekend, is to teach you how to do that. And that there's never been a greater time in history to do this than right now. So I am thrilled, I am honored, I'm excited to be of service to you and I'm excited to be able to share this information with as many people as possible. So thank you for being here, thank you for tuning in. And the universe had a message for us. It was loud and clear that we need to help more people. So I'm honored to be part of that initiative for you. So thank you to my team, thank you to our speakers, thank you to Majeed, thank you to my wife, thank you to my son. He's been so great during this whole time. For the last two weeks, I've been trying to be the best dad, the best husband, the best mentor, the best everything that I can be. And I can tell you that this is a culmination of a lot of effort and a lot of short, not so, hopefully not sleepless nights, but less sleep than what my team is probably used to. So thank you. I love you guys and I thank you all for joining us today. So I want to talk about how you can receive the most from this weekend. Majeet touched on it. Be present, be in the moment. And in the famous words of one of my mentors, Ram Dass, be here now. So whatever you're doing, be here. Bring this to the forefront. I can tell how important something is to you depending on where it is on your computer. Is it in the background or is it in the foreground? And so this information I'm going to teach you today, I believe needs to be in the foreground. So if you're going to be here, be here now. Be here for your future as well. Because that's what I hope to improve and that's what I hope that you get out of. This is not just a better version of yourself now, but a Better version of yourself in the future. I don't expect you to write everything down. Okay. That would be ridiculous for me to expect that. So we have people that are going to be taking notes for you. We're going to be timestamping this content and sharing the audio and video with you. If you have a gold experience, if you have a diamond experience, then you'll get all that, plus a whole bunch of bonuses. But we'll talk about that a lot later. I want you to be here now, whatever that means for you. Bring this in the foreground. If you need to put on headphones and walk around from your phone, then so be it. But be as present as you can. Grab a notebook. I've got a notebook because I'm going to take notes. Grab your favorite pen. I bought a new pen just for this event. And be here now. Okay, let's do this. You guys excited? Type in yes if you're excited. I want to make sure that my stream is coming through loud and clear and that everyone is present. Just a quick note if you're joining us for the live stream. If there is anything that needs to be refreshed, then hit refresh on the page and that should do the trick. So let's get started. Okay. See a lot of yeses coming. Yes. I do have a great team. I'm so proud of them. All right. Are you going to actually get paid today? I want you to type in if this has actually ever been said to you or if you've actually asked yourself this question, because this is a question. My wife yelled at me from the top of the stairs at our home as I was trying to sneak out of my house to go to a job early where I wasn't actually getting paid. In fact, I was owed a back payment of around 50 to 60 thousand dollars at that point. And so it was totally disheartening. She's holding my son in her hands. He's a year old. I've missed the first year of his life because I've been working my butt off. You see, I'm not afraid of hard work, but unfortunately, I was wasting my time, which was far more valuable. And so this was the gutting thing that she said to me that made me kind of rethink and reevaluate and reassess what was important to me and. And how I wanted to create my life moving forward. So I actually had to build up enough courage to walk away from something in the middle of what was at the time one of the greatest recessions that I'd ever experienced, you know, almost around 11 years ago. And I had to pick up, you know, I had to pick up the pieces of my life and put them back together and use my past and use my experiences as raw material to help me build a better future. Okay? So here's the thing. When I had that discussed in myself, that's what was necessary for me to actually take action. And sometimes, as Jim Rohn says, we need to feel disgust in our life in order for us to actually take aggressive action and to move ourselves in the direction that we need to go in. You know, I believe in two things. You can either have a tough love or you can have a tough life. Now, some people have both. But ideally, if somebody gives you a little bit of tough love, like my wife did that day, then you can prevent yourself from living a tough life. Now, I'm not saying that life is easy, but it doesn't have to be tough. Okay? And the things that you're going to learn today are going to be the principles that I learned over my many years as a clinician, as a coach, as a father, as a husband. So I'm going to try to help you live hopefully your absolutely best life in so many different regards. Ok? Not just professionally, but also personally. So there's a picture of my wife and my son, Devin. Devin is. He's nine and a half now, and he's just an amazing young boy. I'm going to hopefully see if he can make a guest appearance for us at some point later today. But they are my life, and they are my teachers, they are my mentors. They are the reason I do everything that I do, aside from, of course, helping everyone else out, but family first. So for me, I've built my life around my family. I've built my business around my family. And I do the absolute best that I can because that's what's valuable to me. My wife has been there with me through thick and thin. She's my unfair advantage. My son is such an understanding young boy. He's my best friend, and they're both my soulmates. So I do everything I do because I want to be there and be of service to them. And I do that with the highest integrity possible. This is my greatest trophy. I've got many trophies, some saying about financial rewards, some of them about professional reward, but this is the best trophy and the trophy that I go for every single day, which is the best dad ever trophy. And so the little button my son made for me when I was going to A conference, because I do travel quite a bit. And he wanted to give that to me. And that's the thing that matters to me the absolute most. Now you have to know what matters to you the absolute most, and you have to hold that in the highest regard, and you have to build your business around that. You have to build everything you do around, center of your core of the essence of the life that you want to live, and then everything falls into place. If you're not building a life around that core essence, then everything falls apart. Okay? So this is very important for all of you to recognize that this is where the intention of all the things we're going to talk about is coming from. For me to be the best dad ever, and part of my job of being the best dad ever is to create the best new world that I can possibly create for my son, because I believe that a better world awaits all of us. But we have to be open and receptive to that. And if we don't think it's existing right now, what are we doing to create it for not only ourselves, but everyone else? What I want for my family, I want for your family. What I want for my community, I want for your community. Because I believe that if we do things with the right intention, which I believe is many of us do, maybe we're not diving deeper or leaning into it as much as we should, but if we do things with the right intention and an intention of pure love, then we can all create a better world. So being the best dad isn't just about being present now, but it's also about creating a better future for my son. That's what I want. So I want that for you, and I want to give you the ability to do that. Like I said, there's plenty of professional accolades, and I don't want to spend too much time on talking about that. Anyone can make a million dollars online. There's nothing special about that. Anyone can do it with the right team, the right effort, the right knowledge, it's possible for each and every single one of you to be able to do that. But it's what you do with that money, to me, that is a more important judge of one's character. Okay? And so I always believe in paying things forward. I believe that that's the attitude that we should have. We should have an attitude of gratitude, and. And we should have an attitude of paying it forward. You're never giving anything back. Right? So giving back is not the right nomenclature. You're paying it forward. Ask yourself how are you going to pay it forward? And when your answer is in alignment with your values, then a reservoir of resource opens up to you. The right people start coming into your life. The right financial situations start coming into your life. The right team comes into your life, opportunities, all those things start pouring into your life when you, once you have the right intention and you know exactly what you're gonna do with the resources when they come to you. So for us, we operate a hospital, we've built a school together with a group of my friends. We've also built an orphanage for children and we hope to continue doing that with our continued efforts of growing and expanding our services and helping more people. The more people that we help, the more people we help. It's plain and simple. So we hold your values true to you, and that's going to be very, very important. One of the ways I pay it forward is I wrote a book called Perfect Practice and here it is. And I also have a podcast called Perfect Practice. And we do this live event every year called Perfect Practice Live. And now we've upgraded that and gone to the Perfect Practice online experience and we'll still have a live event later in this year. So we get together with a group of people who share these values and, and you can only imagine the world you can create and co create with people who are in alignment with these values. So I want to share a little bit more about my why and why I do this. Aside from being of service to humanity, I want to help millions of patients connect with our practices. That means my practice and your practice so that we can serve those that truly need us and are willing to do the work and refer others to just like them. Imagine that world. And I believe it does exist already. It exists in my mind and I know it exists in your mind. The other thing I want to do is on health practitioners like you achieve the five freedoms. We'll talk about that. I want to activate human consciousness and I want to create a world that we and our children can thrive in. I think that's what we all want, is a better world that our children can thrive in. I believe that the world needs you, it needs us now more than ever. And I believe that also starting and running a successful natural medicine practice is one of the greatest spiritual undertakings that any human can undergo. And thankfully, it's never been easier than now. So no matter how hard you think it is, it's actually never been easier than it is now. And I believe you can only add value into the lives of Those that share the same values as you. So I'm going to quickly go over my values because I want to make sure that you're in the right place and that you know that you're in the right place and that you know that when I'm speaking to you, there's a values filter that everything goes through. So every piece of advice that I give you, every recommendation that I give you, every project that I do or I sign to you is going through this filter. So the first part of the filter is love. Next is honesty, transparency, integrity, excellence, growth, you know, connection with nature, vulnerability, empathy, consistency, community, freedom, timeless wisdom, and paying it forward. These are the things that I hold true to myself. These are the filters that everything goes through. And like I said, sometimes it's tough love to prevent a tough life. So you can love someone and be tough with them. Okay? Nowhere on here does it say that I'm super nice, I try to be friendly, but sometimes I have to be tough with people. And, and so these are my values. And I want you to recognize how many of those values overlap with you. Hopefully most of them. And if it's at least more than half, you're in the right place. And I hope by the end of this weekend you realize that this was the right place for you. My goal this weekend is to save you years of trial and error so that you can live your best life sooner. Okay, your best life is available to you, but is it 10 years out? Is it 20 years out? Is it? Or is it 2 years out? Which one is it? Because I want to accelerate that for you and connect you with people that can accelerate that best life for you. That's my goal this weekend. So perfect practice is for heart centered practitioners, you know, no matter where you are. So whether you're starting out a practice, if you're in the thick of running a practice, if you're looking to scale your practice, or if you're seeking that next level. Now here's the thing. There's always a next level. Now, who this isn't for is practitioners who are looking to make a quick buck. You know, it's totally possible. You know, I choose not to teach that methodology, but that's totally possible. I don't want you to think it isn't. But that's not what we're talking about this weekend. It's not for practitioners who are out of integrity, and it's not for those that are not willing to learn and grow, and it's not for those that don't practice what they preach. So you got to be living proof of what you have to offer. And. And as my mentor, Tim Grover says, there's always another level. I was recently coached by Tim, who was also Michael Jordan's coach in his peak and prime. His entire career actually coached Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant and other superstar athletes like that. And the thing he always reminded me of is that there is always, always another level. Okay? So that's what we're seeking. So the next 40 minutes or so, I'm going to cover timeless principles that will help you build your perfect practice and live your legacy. All right? I'm going to talk about very, very important metaphoric concepts, and that's what I want you to. I want you to have an interpretation. I'm going to tell stories, and I want you to apply these principles into your life. Always some. I use very simple words, very simple concepts, but you can go deep. You can meditate on these things for hours on end. So the first thing is, is you should always plant food, and you should always plant flowers in your life. Don't just plant food, okay? Plant beauty into your life. So think about that as you're designing your business. As you're designing your business. What can you do that plants food in your garden, but also plants flowers in your garden? There has to be. There has to be beauty in your life, and you have to actively be creating it. Okay? How you cultivate food and how you cultivate flowers is a little bit different. Sometimes the season of growth is different. Flowers generally can bloom at different times. Food can be harvested at different times. And as long as there is food and flowers in your garden, you're going to create an amazing life for yourself. Okay? So always be thinking about how you can do that. I also believe that you should serve more and sell more. Okay? Now, we're gonna talk about marketing and sales and things like that over the course of this weekend, and I'll redefine these things for you. But you should be serving now more than ever. The world needs you now more than ever than ever before, I promise you. Which means that you should be selling more than ever before. Now, I'm not saying that you should be gouging people. I'm not saying that you should be not offering your highest level of service, but you should be offering more of that right now. Okay? So I'm going to be making you an offer. Got the offer for us to take notes for you, to record this for you and send you the recordings. You can listen to this over and over again and I hope that all of you get that. I hope that the right number of people actually join me on this mission to change the world. Okay? But I'm going to do that by serving more first. Okay. Very, very important concept for all of us. The next thing is you want to use nature as one of your greatest teachers. It's one of my greatest teachers. And one of the things I learned from nature is that we must branch out. Okay? Now, think of yourself like the trunk of a tree. That's you. A branch in your life represents your business. It might represent your relationships. It might represent your financial situation. It might represent all the different facets that make up your life. Here's what I know. The way nature is designed, it's extremely intelligent. It's got billions of years of experience compared to my 42 years of experience. Nature has billions of years of experience. So it's kind of worked out all the math in terms of what works and what doesn't. So we can never grow the branch. The branch of a tree will never grow bigger than the trunk itself. The branches of a tree, a single branch, can never grow bigger than the trunk. So if the trunk represents us, in order for us to grow the branches in our life bigger, all of them bigger, simultaneously, we must grow ourselves. And then the branching naturally takes place. If the branches try to grow bigger than the trunk, the tree splits in half. It doesn't quite work out. So these are important concepts. Again, billions of years of experience compared to my 42 years of experience. The mathematical equations have all been worked out so you can study nature to study the success principles of life. And by adopting those principles, you have timeless wisdom that you're setting intentionality into. I want to tell you an important story that Gandhi shared, and that was very many years ago, when he was still alive. He was approached by a woman and her son because the child was eating tons of candy. His teeth were rotting out, and he wouldn't stop eating the candy. So she brought her son to Gandhi to tell him to tell her son to basically get him to stop eating sugar. And Gandhi said, okay, come back in two weeks. Two weeks later, she comes back, stands in the line, goes back to her village, walks all the way back, and she says, do you remember me? He says, yes. Looks at the boy and says, son, I want you to stop eating sugar. Boy says, okay. Mom looks at Gandhi and says, why didn't you tell him that two weeks ago when we were here? I had to go all the way back and come all the way back, and he Said to her that two weeks ago, I was eating sugar. So you can never tell people to do something that you yourself are not doing. You can never advise people to do something that you yourself are not doing. So in our industry, particularly, it's important that we preach what we practice. If we don't preach what we practice and practice what we preach, then we're out of integrity, and we will never be able to look our patients in the eyes and tell them to do something. We're going to feel like an imposter ourselves. And imposter syndrome is one of the things that holds us back. So we have to be honest with ourselves, and we have to advise people to become the highest version of themselves. And if we're going to do that, we've got to be the highest version of ourselves. Now, that doesn't mean you have to be perfect, but you have to be a work in progress. And without work, there is no progress. So every day, we've got to keep sharpening that sword. Okay? If you think about it, this is how we all evolve over time. We're not born with everything that we need. In some ways we are. But in some ways, we need to continue to sharpen the sword. You want to live by design. Okay. You want to design your business with intention, by design. This is an important time. With everything going on in the world right now, this is an important time for us to re evaluate how we've designed our life up to this point, reevaluate how we've made decisions up to this point, and have they led us in the direction that we see ourselves continuing to go in, or do we need to change paths? And here's the thing. It's okay to change your path. It's okay to change the design, but you always have to live by design. And when you live by design, then there's intentionality in your life. And I find, and I found for myself, everything I'm telling you, ladies and gentlemen, is hard lessons I've learned from my experiences and through countless books that I've read and hundreds of podcasts and interviews that I've listened to. These are the things that I've learned, and these are the things that I apply daily into my life. So live by design. Now, an example that Robin Sharma says is, everything is created twice. First in the mind, then. Then in reality. Everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality. So we've got to build things in our heads first. We've got to visualize exactly what it is we want. Now Visualization works, but it requires action. So I'm not saying to sit there on a rock and meditate for 20 minutes every hour and magically think that things are just going to show up in your life. You still got to do the work, but you've got to know exactly what you're working towards, what you're working for, what you're trying to create. Because when you know what you're trying to create, then you know that this doesn't belong here. When you have a blueprint for the house you're trying to build, you know where the wall goes. You also know where it doesn't go. And it's very cut and dry. And you have an easy way of assessing and evaluating. Okay, Very important. Many people don't realize this, but it's so simple. When you have a design, you know what to say yes to, what to say no to, and the emotions are gone. If the wall is not where it's supposed to be, and we have to move it a few inches to align with the blueprint, there's no emotion involved with that. That's the design. So we have to live our lives by design. Here's a great example. One of my clients, Seth, you know, he says a mentorship was a game changer. And when he joined our mentorship, one of the things that he told me was that he wants to make a good income. Of course he wants to have a successful business, but his number one priority was to spend more time with his family. That was his number one value. And you can see he's got a beautiful family, four kids, and that keeps him busy. Right? But the goal was to move him so that he in a direction where he could spend more time with his family. So when he knew what his values were, when I knew what his values were, and he knew what his primary objective was, we were able to help him design a business around that that's unique to him and beneficial to him. If you don't have a design, if you don't know what you want, then you might not even get the right advice from somebody. How can somebody help you? How do they know where the wall goes in your life, so to speak, or where the doors go or the windows go? If you yourself don't have a design, could you imagine designing a house where without a blueprint, that would never work out? Okay, imagine you're just building things, framing the house just haphazardly without designing it first. So your business is no different, your life is no different. You've got to design It I also know over the years that a hundred heads are better than one. Okay, 100 heads are better than one. Certainly two heads are better than one, but a hundred are even more beneficial right now. There's 500 heads online right now, and we are helping hundreds and hundreds of people get access to this information and join us. So hundreds of heads are way better than one. I also want you to note that it's important that you think harder than you work. Okay? Many of you have this backwards. That doesn't make you bad people. It just means you're hard working. And maybe you think afterwards about what you should have done or what you could have done. If you do a little bit more of that thinking and use that thinking energy to create something, then guess what? You're going to be far better off and you're probably going to not have to work as hard. Many of us, if you're anything like my family, the only way my parents could make more money and have a bigger impact for us was to work harder. They had difficult jobs. You know, they were educated, but they didn't have professional careers. I mean, my mom was working in an accounting department. My dad worked in a. In a garment company. So very humble beginnings for us. And what I realized, my brother realized as well, is that they. What they modeled for us is that hard work is important, but what they also modeled for us is that's the. That was, for them. The only way to earn more, more income is to work harder. We live in an era where that doesn't have to happen. We have professional skills where that doesn't have to happen. So what I want you to know is that thinking a little bit more, thinking things through, visualizing them into the future, will save you a lot of time, a lot of hard work, and a lot of wasted time. You know, one of my mentors, Diane Solano, says that I'm not afraid of hard work. I'm afraid of wasting my time. That's our most important asset. That's something that no matter how much money we make, we can never get back. Okay? That time, once it's gone, you can never get back. And we all know that. You know, we sometimes take that for granted, if not often take that for granted. I know I certainly did. Another thing that will destroy your destiny and destroy your future is focus. A lack of focus or focusing on the wrong things. These are things that will ruin. Okay, these are things that will absolutely ruin your chances of success. You want to make sure that you've got outstanding focus. That's the thing that many people, especially entrepreneurs, lack, and that's one of the characteristics of people who are entrepreneurial, is they have a hard time focusing. Typically, they might even have undiagnosed add. Think of a magnifying glass. If a magnifying glass is focused on something for long enough, guess what? It can burn down the forest. Not that we want to do that, but it can if it's focused at the right angle for the right amount of time. Now, if I wave that magnifying glass around, it's unfocused, not pointing in any one direction. Nothing happens, okay? So your focus needs to be as on point as possible. Now, one of the things I recommend is that each and every one of you should be doing an organic acids test on yourself. And each and every one of you should be doing a genomic profile on yourself. And we've got a speaker later on that's going to talk about that on Sunday. And understanding how you can optimize, you know, nutritionally, epigenetically, biochemically, how you can optimize your focus. We live in a world where we are easily distracted. We live in a world where there's so much going on. We live in a world that is competing for our attention more so now than ever before, okay? Because everyone's got a stage and everyone's got a microphone. So you want to make sure that your focus is on point. And if you can optimize your dopamine and reward centers in your brain through your behaviors, amazing things start happening, I promise you. So focus, focus, focus. Learn about yourself biochemically, genetically, and optimize that. You know, I take certain nutritional support products for that because of my unique, you know, dopamine needs. Okay? Keep that in mind. Another thing I want you guys to realize as you're building your business is as you're. As we're kind of conceptualing ideas and thinking about things, that your experience is more valuable right now than information. Information is available for free. Information is at people's fingertips. Information. My 9 and a half year old son can get the same information that you can get online. We used to live in an information era where information was only available to select people. Where you had to go through tons of school in order to have that experience. Where you had to go through, you know, crazy mentorships or crazy journeys or, you know, all kinds of things to get that information. And now you don't have to do that because the information is available to us through our television, through the newspaper, through textbooks, online, on our Phones. And so the era that we're entering now that's valuable is the experience era, where your experience matters more than information. In fact, there's so much information out there that I believe information can sometimes have a negative value because we don't know who to trust anymore. But I do know that I trust people with experience. People have the right values and the right amount of experience. I'm going to trust those people. So as you're building your business, how are you sharing your experience with other people? How are you spreading the message about the work that you do? Most people, what I see them doing is sharing how much information they know. And the problem with that is that that may not have as much value unless you're the one that did all the research and you're creating and sharing groundbreaking information that's never been shared. And nobody else knew this information before you. Because it's your genuine information, your experience is far more valuable. Share stories. Share your own story. Share success stories from the clients that you have. Even one success story is an experience. One conversation is an experience. One person emailing you, telling you how great they feel. That is part of your experience. That's what people are looking for right now. That is the evolution of healthcare. The evolution of most businesses is how do we create an amazing experience for people? Information has become a commodity. So I want you to think about that as you're developing and cultivating and spreading the message about your business. Am I sharing information or am I sharing experience? Information can be questioned. Information can be found to be wrong over a period of time. But experience is irrefutable because this is your experience. Nobody can question that. They might not know why it works. They might not have all the information that they need, but they can't question it. Information can always be questioned. And information can be wrong. What you say today we might learn is wrong a little bit later. Right? And that happens actually more often than we might care to admit. So share your experiences. That's going to be very powerful for you. Now, here's an experience that I'm sharing. Okay. Dear Satchin, I just received the welcome package and I'm blown away by its contents. I see great changes for me and my business. You're a great addition to my life. I'm grateful and I look forward to our talk on Thursday. See, how can you create an experience for somebody that blows them away? Just after my client joined our mentorship, she gets a welcome package from us. And this is the beautiful email that I get in return. How are you Creating an experience for people, okay? Not how are you just sharing information. What ideas can you come up with? And it doesn't have to be super expensive. It's the thought that counts. Remember? Think harder than you work, okay? And it's the thought, the intention, and, of course, the genuineness of the gesture that you love doing it, you're doing with a loving intention. Create experiences for your clients. I promise that goes so much further than you might think. And I promise it affects the outcomes that you're going to create for them. Another important metaphor that I Learned from Barbara DeAngelis is that in life, we can be the flower or we can be the bee. In life, we can be the flower or we can be the bee. It's time for us functional medicine practitioners, lifestyle medicine practitioners, health coaches. It's time for us to become the flower. All these years and generations, we've been buzzing around, killing ourselves, destroying ourselves, sacrificing ourselves, and people still do this. And I bless all your hearts, the bravery of our doctors and nurses and frontline workers with everything that's going right now. I mean, but some of them are dropping like flies, unfortunately. It's time for us to be the flower and bring the patience to us. You know, we've worked so hard already, and now the tides have shifted. I believe that there's never been a greater time than right now for us to take on this role of just being our beautiful selves and showing people what we have to offer. And like bees, they're going to come to us. They're going to come buzzing towards us. Live your entire life this way. How does opportunity come to you? Not just patience, but how does opportunity come to you? How does the right circumstances come into your life? It's by being your most beautiful self, whatever that means. Okay? And you know what that means to you? It's unique to each and every one of you. What are you doing that's holding you back from being your most beautiful self? Now, Steve Jobs, one of my. I don't know if I call him a mentor because I never met him personally. I learned more about him after he passed away, actually, than when he was alive because of how old I was. But he's famous for saying, stay hungry, stay foolish. And I believe that we should adopt this principle in our lives. We should stay hungry. We should stay curious. We should stay engaged. We should have a childlike mentality, a beginner's mind in everything that we do. And staying foolish means having fun at the same time. So stay hungry. Go after what you want, have a yearning for it, have a hunger for it, but have fun while you're doing it. And you know, I wanted to add to that and my thing would be and be smart enough to create the life you want. Okay? So don't just be hungry and foolish and chase things and have too much fun, but be smart enough to create the life that you want. So it's important for us to be in the now, but it's also important for us to think into the future and create by design the life that we want. You know, what I've learned is the fastest way to learn is by modeling others. Our brain is actually wired to model other people. It's what it does almost better than anything else. In fact, between the age of 0 and 8 people, that's basically all it did, is it modeled everything in its environment. And you'll hear later from Jason Christoph this weekend, who's a self sabotage expert, why that could be a good thing and why that could be a bad thing. But our brain is designed to model. And the slowest way for our brain to learn, the slowest way for any of us to learn is by trial and error. And I know if I'm honest with myself, I've done a lot of trial and error. I want to prevent other people from doing trial and error because trial and error costs money and it costs time. You know, one thing I've also learned is if you don't have the money to do it right, you don't have the money to do it wrong. Write that one down. If you don't have the money to do it right, you don't have the money to do it wrong. So, and the same applies for time. If you don't have the time to do it right, then you don't have the time to do it wrong. So learn using other people's dime and other people's time. You can compress timelines like you can in a time machine. That's the closest thing I can think of to a time machine is having a mentor or a tribe. A mentor and a tribe group of people that are like minded that you can connect with and learn through their trial and error. Okay, Now Jim Rohn is famous for saying you're the average of the five people you spend the most time with. I guess in this case we're the average of the 500 people we spend the most time with. So how cool is that? But that's the thing. You've got to surround yourself with the right people. You've got to Put yourself in the right position so that you could have maximum success in your life. And my mentor, Peter Osborne, taught me many years ago that you want to give more than you can ever ask for in return. So Peter is a dear friend of mine. He'll be speaking tomorrow. And. And I've learned this from him. And so many other successful people is given ways that nobody could ever repay you. Okay, write that one down. Give in ways that nobody can ever repay you. How can you offer your time? How can you offer your knowledge? How can you offer through your personal and professional life? How can you be of value? When you add value to a room, there will always be a seat at the table for you. The door will always be open. The light will always be on. If you can add value into people's life, whether it's through your practice, whether it's through other things, other skills that you have, or knowledge that you have, then there will always be, you know, there'll always be a spot at the table for you. The light will be on and the door will be left unlocked or even wide open for you. So go into the world with that attitude every single day. Not the attitude of, oh, if I give them this, then you're expecting something in return. Because expectation is the vehicle for disappointment. That's the thing. Even when people reach high levels of success, they're disappointed because the success didn't happen for them the way they were expecting it to. So they have all these things in life, but unless it went the exact way they expected it to, then they're not happy and they don't see all the amazing things they have in their life. So one thing that I've also learned is the importance of gratitude. Gratitude and awareness and presence are very critical because that's how we cash in this currency of all the good things that are coming our way, all the good things that are happening for us every single day. We cultivate that. We cash that in by having gratitude and awareness. You know, there's no way to go backwards in time and change the past, but you can always use other people's past as raw material to fast forward towards your best future. This is a take on a quote from Dan Sullivan. You know, raw materials from your past experiences are the building blocks of your future. So you can use that experience and embrace it and be grateful for it, because it's going to help you build that better future. Now, I promised I'd talk about the five freedoms. And these five freedoms are important, because if you hold these five freedoms and the Values that I shared earlier. If you hold these things steadfast, I promise, I promise you, amazing things will start happening in your life. And the decisions you make will be so much more clear, absolutely clear, when you have these five freedoms in mind. So the first one is health. Okay? Health is a very important freedom. And we should never do things. We should never build a business, enter relationships or engagements that deteriorate our health. Now, I'm going to be honest with you. There's going to be times in your life when you're working your butt off and you're burning the midnight oil and. And you're going to be making some sacrifices, but you have to know what your limits are, right? So if you've got to work a little bit harder a couple weeks out of the year or a couple weeks out of the quarter, then so be it. Life doesn't have to be tough, but it may not always be easy. Okay? So health is something that we never want to compromise in the long run, especially as healthcare providers. You know, that's the thing. I see so many healthcare practitioners who have been in the healthcare industry, and it cost them their health, and we need to change that, okay? So your business should not cost you your health, because you know better than anyone else that you can't buy health. So no matter how much money you make, you can't just go to a store and buy it. You've always got to earn it. And you can't negotiate with your health. It is what it is. The next one is emotional freedom. You want to be the one who determines how you feel every day. You want to be the one that determines how you feel. External forces should not determine how you feel. It's the internal forces that should determine how you feel. And so build a life that allows you to have the freedom to do that and do the mental work that's required, so you have the freedom to do that. The next thing is time. Okay? Time is our most important asset. And it's hard to even call it an asset. It's really priceless. It's hard to put value on. Now, I do know there's ways that you can slow down time, and I know there's ways you can speed up time, but you can't get it back, okay? So you can not get the time back. You can speed it up and slow it down using breathwork, using awareness, using gratitude. And certainly we know that sometimes time flies. You know, time is a human construction. But you want to build a life and a business, and now is the time to do it. That allows you to have time freedom, where you're not always trading time for dollars. There's going to be parts of your business that are like that. We'll talk about that, too. But we don't want all of your business to be like that. If you have value to add into people's lives, then you should be able to help millions of people, and there's nothing stopping you from doing that. There's billions of people on this planet, okay? There's plenty for all of us to help. The next freedom I want you to build a life towards and a business towards is geographic freedom. I want you to be able to help people anywhere in the world, okay? And we're moving towards kind of a global society, as you've probably noticed. And there's going to be a lot of migration taking place. I promise you, as things settle down, there's going to be a lot of people migrating. I bet you people are going to start moving away from big cities and crowded places, and they're going to start moving into the countryside more, and they might move to different states because of where they can afford to live or where the opportunities are. So there's going to be a mass migration of people, and you might even migrate as well at some point in your life. Can you take that business with you? Can you take that business with you while you're traveling overseas and be somewhere beautiful on vacation, but still helping people? I believe that you can do that. And then the last freedom is financial freedom. I believe that the mistake most entrepreneurs make is they focus on financial freedom first at the expense of their health freedom, emotional freedom, time freedom, and geographic freedom. So I put that last specifically because you want to focus on the four first. Because if you've got the four in place, you're already rich. If you've got great health, if you've got a strong emotional body and mental body, and you have time to do the things that you enjoy doing on your terms, and you can do them from anywhere in the world. You're pretty rich, my friend, okay? And the financial is the icing on the cake, so keep that in mind. Okay? All right. Now, we'll close it out here, and I'll be happy to take some questions. But, you know, I want to say that the fastest way to get rich is. Is to really reassess the value of the things you have. What are the things that you have that are of immense value? Are you holding them in your heart? Are you being grateful for them every day? Are you acknowledging those things. You know, I'm grateful for my wife. Do I tell her that? As many times as I can. I'm grateful for my son. I don't just keep it to myself. I tell him that as many times I can. So you can reassess what's valuable to you, what is important to you and show those people those exact things so that you can help and create the best life possible for yourself and them. So thank you. I appreciate this. I hope this session was helpful for you. I love your feedback in the chat. Let me know how you're enjoying this so far. I'd love to hear what your biggest takeaway was from this first presentation. And I want you to know that we are here to help and support you and make this event epic for you in any ways we can. So give us some feedback, let us know how we're doing, let us know what you're enjoying most and let's grow and cultivate some love as a community. And if anyone's got some questions, I love to answer them. But Majeed, let's go back over to you.
Well, thank you. Thank you for those pearls of wisdom, Sachin. And I'm going to give you an update. If you're here watching, would you please chat into the chat box. Your question for Sachin. We've got some time for Sachin to answer those questions. And guess what, we got 523 people online right now. We've got 700 people came in from the United States just this morning. 280 from Canada, 16 in Brazil, nine in Australia, nine in the United Kingdom, five in Germany, five in Denmark, five in New Zealand, in Mexico, in Greece, Malaysia, India. We are broadcasting around the world and what a beautiful opportunity it is for you to all learn from Sachin Patel. Those of you who are new to Sachin, I did not introduce him properly because I assumed that you knew him. But while you're writing out your question in the chat box, here's the official introduction. Satya Patel is a father, husband, philanthropist, functional medicine practice, success coach, international speaker and best selling author. His philosophy is that the doctor of the future is the patient. He's actively doing whatever it takes to keep people out of the medical system by empowering them through education, self care and remapping their mindset. Sachin founded the Living Proof Institute as part of his own personal transformation and now coaches practitioners all over the world on how to step into their power and save their communities. To date he has delivered hundreds of community workshops. He's an advocate for changing the healthcare paradigm and he's devoted his life to the betterment of healthcare for both patients and practitioners. So if you're on the broadcast page now, if you scroll down to the bottom, you'll see there's something called the diamond package. And what's amazing about the diamond package is you get 30 minutes, one on one with Sachin. So because Sachin's time is limited and because he's a family man and running multiple businesses, there are only a limited number of those packages available. So if you can see the button that says diamond package, that means they're still available. If you don't see the button, that means they're all sold out. And with 500 people watching right now, they're probably going to sell out soon. So first come, first serve, jump on those diamond packages if you want to grab one of those. And some one on one time with Sachin. Sachin, let's have a look at our chat roll here.
Sure. Lots of great input coming in, guys. If anyone has any questions, I've got about four minutes, so I'd love to chat with any of you. I see some great comments and great feedback coming in. Scott says, love the idea of experiences are greater than information. Anissa says, I love being both an LPI member and, and a patient. She says, sachin, love this. You are amazing. Thank you. Awesome. Biggest takeaway from Laura was live by design, with intention, and given ways that no one can ever repay you. Awesome. Katie says, can you share a patient's story without getting consent? So as long as they don't use their name. I want to tell more stories, but I'm worried about hipaa, so, you know, Kati, there's definitely ways that you can tell stories that leave the person completely anonymous. So here's the thing with stories. You want to tell a story using a specific framework. I know Majeed's gonna probably talk about this a little bit more, so I won't steal any of his thunder, but he's gonna bring even more thunder than anyone could steal anyways. But what I want to tell you is there's ways that you could strategically tell a story that the person themselves wouldn't even know, Right? Okay. Like if a patient came into your office today and, and as soon as they leave and you do a live stream and says, I just had this patient come in, right. Then they're gonna know it's them. But there's ways you can tell a story that allow you to get your message across, allow you to stay in honesty and integrity without violating HIPAA So we'll definitely talk about that. I'll let Majeet answer that question if he wants, or he can answer it when he does his presentation. But I know he's in agreement there.
Well, stay tuned for tomorrow's presentation on how to attract your ideal client with public speaking. Will share what I call the success story framework. How exactly to tell a story in a way that honors the patient and inspires other people to take action because of how you tell that story. And the function of telling the story is to help people. Imagine hiring you and feeling good about that. So we will go in depth in that tomorrow. Satchin, I've got a question for you. You talk about mimicking nature or letting nature be your teacher. One of the things I thought was really interesting about how you think about growth in your business, like, you know, a tree doesn't struggle to grow. Sometimes it grows a little bit, sometimes it grows more. And I'm curious to know some of the applications that you put into your business that you've learned from observing nature.
Well, definitely using a branching framework as much as I can. So if we look at. If we look at the tree. I didn't know this until fairly recently, actually, because I had the landscaping project that's in place right now. We've got this big tree in our front yard, and there were some branches that were cut as the construction project was taking place. My wife and I were concerned. But then the landscaper told us, you see the size of this tree, the roots are double the size of it underground. So nature roots itself very deeply, and that's what gives it its foundation. And so our values are essentially representative of the roots of our tree. So if we have many values and they're deeply rooted in our lives, that gives our life a lot of stability. So no matter what one branch gets cut off or what one root gets cut off, everything else pretty much stays intact. So I would say that there's plenty of lessons I've learned. I think my favorite one was, was the one I shared about the trunk and the branches not being able to grow bigger than the trunk. You know, the. One of the greatest books that I've read that uses a lot of metaphors that I think everyone would appreciate is the Tao Te Ching, the Great Way, so to speak. And another great book is the Bhagavad Gita. There's lots of great metaphors for life in both of these ancient scriptures. And one thing that I love about nature is when you're spending time in nature, you want to actually Bring yourself present into the moment. Most people walk through the woods. What I suggest is you walk and stay in the woods, you become the woods. You become that energy, and you hold that stillness that nature has. What I also suggest is people take a macroscopic and microscopic view of nature. So getting zoomed in and paying attention to the color and shape and texture of things activates our brain in a way that nothing else can. So without getting too, you know, mathematical, our entire planet, ecosystem, universe, cosmos, body is built on fractal mathematics and fractal architecture. So our brain is actually a fractal structure. And so when we're out in nature and we're staring at other fractals, it's giving information to our brain that only that type of information can provide. When I stare at a flat screen, there's no dimensionality to it. There's color and texture and contrast, but there's no dimensionality to it. When I'm out in nature, I'm stimulating my brain with multidimensional structures. So pretty cool when you start doing that and you start becoming more present because it activates your right brain. And your right brain is what helps us shift from productive to creative. When we're in our left brain, we're very productive. When we're in our right brain, we're very creative. And that shift is very important because sometimes people do a lot of work, but they're not creative and they're not solving problems. So when you spend more time in nature, you activate parts of your brain that allow you to solve some of the challenges that you have.
Very good. Thank you. Thank you for that.
