Hello everyone. This is Sakshi Chandrakar, career branding coach and image enhancer. I welcome you to the fourth video of campus to corporate transformation short video series. Today we are going to talk about penalty and support system. What is the penalty and support system here in campus and here in corporates? So suppose for example you, your professor or your, you know, your teacher penalizes you for doing you doing something wrong. Okay? So what happens usually in colleges and campuses that all your friends will gather together to show solidarity, love and support to you, right? So most of the times people bunk the colleges, bunk the classes of that teacher or professor or you know, take out rallies and protest against the institution itself. Okay? All these things happen here. But let me tell you something, this is not going to happen in the corporate, okay? All this love is going to simply evap in the in air, okay? Nobody is going to support you to protest against, you know, any of the employee or maybe the employer itself. You are hired to solve problem. You are hired to perform there, okay? If you do not perform, you will have to face repercussions. So it could be in the form of what? Pay cut, no promotion. Or even you could be thrown out of a particular project or assignment, right? But you cannot expect any other person to help you and join hands and you know, go and support you and say, you know, I also will take the pay cut and I will also take no promotion. Do you think anybody would do that? Everybody is there to earn their livelihood. So nobody is going to support. So better you leave all this thing in campus itself and do not even go for it. For the simplest reason is because this penalty or whatever you see, it is basically to discipline you in some or other form, okay? If you do wrong, you have to understand and you have to take responsibility of your actions. Because corporate stands for discipline. Corporates run on discipline only. Otherwise they just fall apart. Okay? So the better you, you know, the sooner you understand that you will have repercussions and understand that you will have to take responsibility of your actions, the better it will be you.
